You should launch your own beat-making courses. Depending on the styles, you could have different courses with different focuses. You could make a fortune.
The most importent part is the digging for samples. Lay your hands on all records you find. There is always something on them you can use. Some times a perfect sample to chop up and flip and some times a small part ore sound you can put over the main sample you have flipped. So start digging in the crates and you will soon find joy then you are doin it
I've been listening to your music a lot recently and you've been a huge huge inspiration. you're truly a master of your craft and its mind-blowing to listen to your beats and pick them apart. much love bro keep making beautiful music!
I am jealous of Portugal weather. Sorry, reality intrudes from England. (I am wearing long johns and a jumper in July. Computer says rain expected to stop in 25 minutes)
Are there any plugins that you would recommend for sample based beats? For example good tape saturation plugins or other compressors that give great color to your beats?
Im loving your shirt btw - any chance you could make one with a modern MPC in the same style? Would kill for a proper oversized t-shirt with the MPC One on it - will probably order that XL one to though its so great looking
I suggest you do a short video on the legality of sampling. 99 percent of beatmakers are completely ignorant of the issues of copyright and getting clearance.
You don't gotta do anything. If you crate dig, fine for you. I use sample packs and combine different styles (from classical to bossa nova), one shots (drums and otherwise), and chord progressions made in my sequencer (or better sequencers). The whole crap is loaded into an SP404 mk2, sequenced, or played live there. Done.

Do you have a video on how to use the different MPC compression types on the outputs for final mixes? @mpchead

Do you ever make beats that you could workout, box or dance to? Like the golden era 86-92.

Sample packs are cool however nothing beats digging for your own stuff
Besides creating your own music to sample
