- In today's FS17 time lapse video, which is set in Goldcrest Valley-
We're almost finished with contracting jobs, we've just got a few more to do to earn the money to buy field 11. Once that's done, we're going to start focusing more on our own land and let someone else take over the contracting business. We're also going to get the new field planted with grass, sell our first pigs, get our harvest done and finally make a good start on the planting!

Mr. Frithgar it seems as if the air bags in the trailer are malfunctioning due to the ejection force of your combines spout i would recommend adjusting the output force as well as the output angle. as well as refrain from ejecting product at the sides or at odd angles into the trailer when unloading.

Frithgar, i don't know how many people have realized it yet, but you can use hired help for tedding and windrowing, it does work sorta for baling but from what i've experienced they will only do one row at a time.
Just something to consider when looking at equipment in the future.

Wow. I didn't understand how profitable animals are until I saw this timelapse. Normally it would be late game for me when I get into animals, I might have to look into it earlier.
Pigs and cows are expensive to start, sheep just need grass and water, the wool is worth a lot of money as well, definitely worth getting max loan and as many sheep as you can to start, the wool after a couple weeks of time just about pays for them!
I like how you try to make it as realistic as possible sometimes, transporting animals in early morning. We do that at our farm, sure it's the best for the animals but it's not so fun having to start work at 05:00 in the morning. Were you a farmer earlier in your life or do you just make a lot research??
I grew up on a farm and worked as a farm labourer for a number of years on different farms doing lots of different types of farming. I don't any more, but I still follow the farming world in my spare time, keeping up to date with new machines and techniques

Frithgar, I know how much you like road trains and on my own save game, I've got those fligel trailer from the mod hub. The too together give a total capacity of 62,000 litre!
But upgrade your cultivater and seed drill first
I'm on the lookout for trailers that can go with our lorry that each have a capacity of more than 60k litres. I think a BIG road train will be lots of fun to use :)

you need to increase storage capacity on your silos
Frithgar it would be amazing if you stick with this map on Wednesday's all the way until FS19 and then on Sunday's you could do another map.
I think that would end up getting confusing. I found in FS15 that after a while you need to move on to a new map because all you end up doing is repeating previous videos!

The price only changes according to the machines you get, if you get a smaller machine, you'll get more money for it taking longer. If you're going to do a sunflower harvest mission, try to avoid using the sunflower header and you'll get lots more money for it :)

What's With The Two Line At The End Of A Field Before The Hired Help
It helps to keep the hired help in the field when he gets started. If you cut a couple lines near a road or bank it stops the hired help getting stuck on cars or stuck on a cliff face

Make sure they've got the three stages of fertilizer as well as ploughed

I'm keeping them separate as I'm planning to join 9 into 5. That way we keep the road that goes through so we can sell grain there when we're using a road train to deliver it. Not really enough room to turn round if we remove one of the roads.
