- In today's FS17 time lapse video, which is set in Goldcrest Valley-
The planting needs to get finished first thing, then once that's all done we're going to go camping for the night, just because we can. We've pigs to sell with our truck and stock trailer early in the morning, then more fertilizer to spread. Once that's done we're getting some new mowers and mowing a large area of grass, then leasing a baler and baling it all up ready to start gathering in. We'll be getting a wrapper next, but we're not going to be able to get to that today!

I love timelapse keep upp the Good work frithgar a tips take two mowers in the front of the tracktor and the collecktor back
Unrealistic though, I've had a good look, but I've not found any examples of farmers putting three mowers on the front of a tractor yet. I've found them using a Minion front weight, but not three mowers!
I enjoy cutting down trees that are in the way BUT it's very time consuming and takes tons of patience. I personally don't like the scorpion king so I cut down the trees with a cutter that attaches to the tractor, then cut the trees into logs with the saw, load then into the trailer with a front loader on the tractor, etc.. takes more time but easier and cheaper.
What editing software do you use to time lapse?
if you spin the rear mower and attach it to the back of the tractor you can have a windrower attached to it
or put all mowers to the front attached each other and windrower to the back. srry for bad english
i mean those mowers in 8:50
If you spin the mowers round on the back then you can't cut as the cutting knives would be at the back, you'd also have the conditioner in front of the cutters which wouldn't work. The game might allow it, but it's not something you can do in real life. Also, mounting all those mowers on the front of the tractor is also unrealistic, I've searched for it a lot but I've not found any examples of anyone actually doing that.

the pottinger mowers can be atached one to another in the front of the tractor and you can attach a windrower at the back,saving a lot of time
True, but not very realistic putting three mowers on the front of a tractor! I've seen a small front mounted rake before though, then a baler on the back of the tractor, I'll do that if I can find a rake mod that will allow it!

The time lapse one is about 110 hours so far
you can attach the smaller mower to the back of the big mower.

I'm at a similar stage in my game, I plan to join 23 and 24, but cut it square, then turn the northern part of that irregular field to grass.
How fast do you speed up your video's?
You could use the Valtra on those mowers it would be a big load though

Hey Frith, I love your timelapses they're made fantastically, but is that bit rate issue a TH-cam thing? Is there something you might be able to do about it?
*Edit* After thinking about it a bit, I think a good way to fix it since I do believe it's mainly TH-cam's problem, would to be to have a mod that adds more dynamic textures to crops and soils, since I think the issue is caused by repeating textures. I don't know if there's a mod like that though unfortunately :(
It seems to be on high contrast areas more than any other, the extra detail that is being processed causes problems. There are sometimes patches that I get a few problems before the upload, but I've mostly cured that and I'll only see something every 5 or 6 episodes. Hopefully one day TH-cam will be able to change their system a little to improve it, or I'll find a different solution from my end. Rest assured though, it's something I'm very aware of and I'm constantly looking for ways to improve on it as it frustrates me even more than the people who watch it!
Actually, I've been hearing people say you should watch TH-cam on the highest quality (1440p) even if you don't have a 1440p monitor, because "It makes a difference"... I never knew why until last night, watching a video which had particularly bad bitrates kind of like yours, he said that watching in 1440p won't make the video any better looking, but it does allow TH-cam to process it in higher bitrates. Maybe that's something you might want to look into? I can't imagine recording and uploading in 1440p will be at all easy however.

I don't understand what you mean by analysis, do you mean what settings? I use normal game play mode, then have all the helper AI settings so that they don't buy fertilizer or seed out in the field which means you have to come back to the yard for it. I also have it set on 3 fertilizer stages, not one

Creekid 0106 you sell wraped bales for the same silage price because wraped Bale is 4000l silage

I've not sold wrapped bales at the biogas, but would assume it's the same price as normal silage. You get $1470 per bale when you sell at the bale sell point at your farm
does fertilizing grass make a difference to the yield?
Farmer Rob you get more grass out of the field
On planted grass it's an increase in yield just like other crops, on meadows that aren't actually classed as fields you can't
