Unpopular opinion. No, hated and denied opinion. GT had a great story and actually had Goku show some wisdom with his past experiences with enemies actually using new tactics to beat him or more refined old ones that actually work. Showing that no matter how much stronger he can be he will never beat his foes without help or without thinking. Like with the help he got from 18 with Super 17. Killing Baby after seeing how much a threat he was. Not holding back on Omega Shenron. While also showing he has his virtues still and the things that shows he still has goodness that won't change. From respecting Vegeta, to honoring Gohan pursuing a Business career, to being scared of Needles and bonding with Nova Shenron who was the ball Grandpa Gohan had which Goku also had as a keepsake. One could say they rubbed off on the Dragon.
Rest In Peace Akira Toriyama. Thank you for all the wonderful memories throughout all the years and the experiences and opportunities you gave everyone along the way. Respect to the goat 🐐

We would train together all the time and at times we would be so tired from training we would sleep in the field we used for our training.

I cried so hard and i can't believe the Dragon Ball ending. It's even heart breaking the ending of A Hero Legacy with Goku jr meet his ancestor ,and Goku last word to Goku Jr to keep his Dragon Ball safe that he (Goku) always be there. Personally I love GT and this song in particular, even though I'm not a 90's kid but an early 2000's kid so I was kinda late on the GT Train, I don't give a damn if SS4 isn't Canon, it's my favorite, one of the best transformation hands down! better than SS blue! (Side bar) Just a little fun thing I want to say, is that I have a super sayian 4 FES statuette of goku
GT doesnt deserve all the hate it gets. It has SS4 which is amazing and has some of the best CONCEPTS for villans. maybe the werent done perfectly but holy shit if the idea behind the shadow dragon arc wasnt a perfect ending for the series (at the time). Taking the one thing that has been the constant backbone of the serie and turning it into something for evil was such a good idea and i think its one of the best sagas IMO, easily tied for 3rd place with the saiyan saga (1st is cell and 2nd is frieza)

I return to Dan Dan every once in a while to check my progress in life. GT was arguably one of the most important pieces of media that I ingested as a kid since it spawned my lifelong love of Dragonball and saved my life by giving me an almost infinite amount of strength, inspiration, love, patience and hope. Heh, it's just super cool coming back to this in a good head space and mental state, makes me feel like everything has been worth it despite the shit I've been through, that everything put in front of me I've shattered to pieces by surpassing my own limits. I love Dragonball, god damn do I love this series about a funky little monkey kid.

GT may be a lot of things: Bad, not cannon, and most of the time make no sense. But if there’s one thing about it, it’s that the theme, ending and series will NEVER be forgotten.
Dan Dan has literally been one of my favorite opening of all time and y'all have made better in your own unique way it's so awesome I loved Dragon Ball GT and this song makes me remember how I got into this show and community and everything I love about it a per hit of amazing nostalgic feels Thank you We.B
I don't understand why this song makes me so nostalgic, when I was a kid we had our own cover for the opening of gt so I've never heard this one yet it always leaves me with a sense of nostalgia
When I first started watching GT, it was guilty pleasure. My parents didn't like the violence in the series, and wanted me to stay away from it. But I continued to watch it when they weren't there. I was around 6 or 7 years old at the time, and I was already quite rebellious. At first, it was just the excitement that I was doing something that my parents didn't want me to. But it was Baby Arc that truly turned me over. Goku's struggles as he was almost killed by a Baby controlled Vegeta, only to be saved at the last second, then his trip to unlock Super Saiyan 4, having to escape Hell while Super 17 was crushing his frineds to dust, and then the quest to find all the corrupted Dragon Balls... and then the ending. My god, the ending. I didn't even watch Dragon Ball Z prior, and yet every single second of it resonated with me so well. Kaggy, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. You brought back a piece of my childhood that I always carried with pride and joy. And I can never repay you for that.
I remember as a kid. Being at my dad's, not even knowing what Dragon Ball GT was at the time. Turning the TV onto adult swim late at night. And seeing Dragon Ball GT. And just, I didn't fall in love instantly. In fact it wasn't till highschool that I watched the series. After my friends turned me onto it. But looking back, I remember this opening. And I remember thinking how how beautiful it was. I don't have fond memories of my father. Not many at all. But I remember this show, and all the others I would watch late night there. And I will always cherish those memories. And thank you too. For helping me realize that, and put it into words. GT will always be the better superior Super to me. Nothing can replace the feeling this show brings looking back on it.
Dan Dan, ssj4, Gogeta, Vegeta's mustache, the ending and the legacy of Goku spin off are the best things to come out, the best plot was with majin Buu and uub in my opinion.
Half expected the second half of this song to be the same lyrics as someone else, but wow I was shocked when they were different. Guess that just makes this more unique since there's three different versions of English covers I've listened to where the second half was way different. This was a great cover, and the original lyrics make it that much better.
ABSOLUTELY loving it. These lyrics makes remind me about how i feel with my GF. But it also looks like what we can find when arriving to the end of DB/Z/GT. This manga/anime was such a beautiful, lovable journey that made us / me growing a lot. I'll never forget you, all the Z-Team

Dragon Ball isn't apart of the big three. The Big 3 is specifically a group of battle shounen that rose to extreme levels of success and popularity at the same time within the western anime community the Big 3 are and will always be One Piece, Naruto and Bleach. Dragon ball predates all 3 of these series.

I don't understand why this song makes me so nostalgic, when I was a kid we had our own cover for the opening of gt so I've never heard this one yet it always leaves me with a sense of nostalgia

When I first started watching GT, it was guilty pleasure. My parents didn't like the violence in the series, and wanted me to stay away from it. But I continued to watch it when they weren't there. I was around 6 or 7 years old at the time, and I was already quite rebellious.
At first, it was just the excitement that I was doing something that my parents didn't want me to. But it was Baby Arc that truly turned me over. Goku's struggles as he was almost killed by a Baby controlled Vegeta, only to be saved at the last second, then his trip to unlock Super Saiyan 4, having to escape Hell while Super 17 was crushing his frineds to dust, and then the quest to find all the corrupted Dragon Balls... and then the ending. My god, the ending. I didn't even watch Dragon Ball Z prior, and yet every single second of it resonated with me so well.
Kaggy, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. You brought back a piece of my childhood that I always carried with pride and joy. And I can never repay you for that.
I remember as a kid. Being at my dad's, not even knowing what Dragon Ball GT was at the time. Turning the TV onto adult swim late at night. And seeing Dragon Ball GT. And just, I didn't fall in love instantly. In fact it wasn't till highschool that I watched the series. After my friends turned me onto it. But looking back, I remember this opening. And I remember thinking how how beautiful it was. I don't have fond memories of my father. Not many at all. But I remember this show, and all the others I would watch late night there. And I will always cherish those memories. And thank you too. For helping me realize that, and put it into words. GT will always be the better superior Super to me. Nothing can replace the feeling this show brings looking back on it.
Dan Dan, ssj4, Gogeta, Vegeta's mustache, the ending and the legacy of Goku spin off are the best things to come out, the best plot was with majin Buu and uub in my opinion.

Half expected the second half of this song to be the same lyrics as someone else, but wow I was shocked when they were different. Guess that just makes this more unique since there's three different versions of English covers I've listened to where the second half was way different.
This was a great cover, and the original lyrics make it that much better.

Dragon Ball isn't apart of the big three.
The Big 3 is specifically a group of battle shounen that rose to extreme levels of success and popularity at the same time within the western anime community the Big 3 are and will always be One Piece, Naruto and Bleach. Dragon ball predates all 3 of these series.

god this song is by far my favourite song from all of dragon ball. the song is so good. the story it crafts throughout the song in the original, you can tell the uncertainty of the person singing. but the song is soooo good and i loved this version!
