I've never heard this song before I watched this. I can't get over how good it sounds. The unexpected notes and rolls feel so natural yet so bizarre. Your warm voice really encapsulates the lyrics. The high notes fill me with a spirit that almost reminds me of being a kid and watching DBZ Kai. I appreciate how much effort and heart it appears you put into this song. Thank you for your songs Mark. You're work inspires me to start to get into playing the alto saxophone. I love every single one of your songs. I think I finally figured out what draws me to GT as opposed to Super. GT feels more human, more real, more emotional. Everyone sees Dragon Ball as yelling until your hair changes color and "this isn't even my final form" but it really is an emotional journey of struggle and trying to keep what you care about close to you. It's about facing immense adversity and overcoming it for the sake of others. Super is what every sees Dragon Ball as. GT is what Dragon Ball truly is.
Couldn't have said it better myself, Super just keeps pumping out brightly colored transformations so they can make tons of merchandise, not because they add anything new to the series
GT was good, people really need to give it a chance. This is one of the best songs from DBZ and it just holds a weird sense of nostalgia no matter how you listen to it, amazing work and keep it up!
I can confirm, not only was GT, it was a worldwide hit and beloved. I always found it weird why so many people in english speaking countries hated it untill I watched an episode of the english dub. it nearly made me puke. They butchered it, gone was this beatifull intro song, the OST that lend it's charm to all key scenes during the show and made the battles so memorable. The english dub took all emotion out of the show, and left viewers with a bland hollow shell of what the show was supposed to be. The rest of the world got spoiled with a great version of GT, while the english speaking audiences got garbage.
I gave GT a chance and I hated it. I really didn't like the majority of GT and didn't feel like watching it again. Though I did like some parts of it like Super Sayain 4, the entire baby arc and parts of the shadow dragons. And the end of GT always brings a tear to my eyes. Aside from those parts I really don't like GT

@The Weavile Dude, there's no way you can convince me that GT has as many story flaws, examples of bad writing, lack of understanding for the characters, bad animation, awful powerscaling, lazily made transformations and just straight up plot holes as Super, GT was literally made to be a sendoff to the entire Dragon Ball story as a callback to the original Dragon Ball manga with it's first arc, and the rest of the arcs capturing the crazy DBZ like fights, it may not be perfect, but it's certainly better than the lazy and bland cash grab that Super is

The Weavile super bastardized every character form z, goku is a know nothing moron who has literally no maturity or love for life whatsoever he’s an idiot punch jokey who only wants to fight and eat like luffy or some stupid shit. Vegeta regressed to cell saga levels of jealous and resentment that he GOT OVER in the buu saga in the REAL SHOW. in gt vegeta is gokus friend and ally who only wants to surpass him out of trying to make himself the best he can be not to be the best ever see the difference? Gohan is just stupid he loses his power completely in a year that’s dumb, frieza is a stupid little snake rather than the calm evil villain he was in z, krillin and goku and hurt by bullets and the “guard down” nonsense is literally only in super, hit is stoic and boring Jiren is stoic and boring while baby and omega have countless quips and memorable lines and ya know have more powers than just punching really hard. Super is a joke all it does it take from z and make it worse. Broly and Gogeta were already characters for 30 years stop pretending they can just be forgotten at the first sight of something trendy. Also broly is a murderous maniac with funny quips not a mindless idiot who fights because daddy makes him.

The high notes fill me with a spirit that almost reminds me of being a kid and watching DBZ Kai. I appreciate how much effort and heart it appears you put into this song. I think I finally figured out what draws me to GT as opposed to Super.
GT feels more human, more real, more emotional. Everyone sees Dragon Ball as yelling until your hair changes color and "this isn't even my final form" but it really is an emotional journey of struggle and trying to keep what you care about close to you. It's about facing immense adversity and overcoming it for the sake of others.
Super is what every sees Dragon Ball as.
GT is what Dragon Ball truly is.
Couldn't have said it better myself, Super just keeps pumping out brightly colored transformations so they can make tons of merchandise, not because they add anything new to the series

GT was good, people really need to give it a chance. This is one of the best songs from DBZ and it just holds a weird sense of nostalgia no matter how you listen to it, amazing work and keep it up!
I can confirm, not only was GT, it was a worldwide hit and beloved. I always found it weird why so many people in english speaking countries hated it untill I watched an episode of the english dub. it nearly made me puke. They butchered it, gone was this beatifull intro song, the OST that lend it's charm to all key scenes during the show and made the battles so memorable. The english dub took all emotion out of the show, and left viewers with a bland hollow shell of what the show was supposed to be.
The rest of the world got spoiled with a great version of GT, while the english speaking audiences got garbage.

I gave GT a chance and I hated it. I really didn't like the majority of GT and didn't feel like watching it again. Though I did like some parts of it like Super Sayain 4, the entire baby arc and parts of the shadow dragons. And the end of GT always brings a tear to my eyes. Aside from those parts I really don't like GT

Many people hate DBGT, but nobody. NOBODY hates the theme or ssj4 or ssj4 gogeta or omega shenron, or baby or super 17. In fact everything but the start of the show.

Super is only about goku and vegeta. They aren't even giving the strongest character of dbz( by the end of it) his fair share of spotlight. Good luck expecting someone like pan to be somewhat relevant in the series.
