Walked into an AD beginning of the year . No purchase history, hell never been to an AD before, told the AD I always wanted a Rolex. She let me try on all the models they had. I told her my favorite was the Submariner Date. Next day texted her a thank you. 3 Weeks late she texted me with a picture of the Submariner and asked if I was still interested, I said yes and showed up 3 hours later bought my first Rolex. All these videos had me scared to death, maybe I got lucky.
You are lying.
1- Do not talk too much
2- Never say you sold a watch
3- Never ask for a sought after piece as a first timer
4- Don’t say you looking for sports models
5- Don’t act like you’re getting a watch the same day
6- Don’t take pictures or record videos
7- Don’t approach ADs the same way you approach Grey Dealers.
So basically this rolex company’s intention is to hurt ego of rich people so rich people will tend to buy for sure and more to prove his/her power. Good video Luxury World
I got a Rolex Deep Sea D-Blue (James Cameron) recently. My first purchase from my local AD with no suggestion of buying another lesser Rolex, which is all that they sell. You can't just drop in unannounced without an appointment. I did wear my 22 year old two-tone bluesy Submariner to indicate that I don't flip watches. I got the call a month after my visit.

I walked in to the AD in late March this year looking for a MOP for my wife having not purchased history with them. The Rolex dealer was great with me. We talk about my Dad work with watches and jewelry for 40 years. Exactly a month later I was getting my wife Mother of pearls with a diamonds Basel. now i be next hopefully a Daytona rose gold

I agree the AD staffs are very arrogant as if customers have no money to buy ! In fact, the common people like us are capable to buy Rolex anytime just that we don't show our wealth. Worst still , flippers show off like tycoon .

Ok when I walk in they ask me what Im interested in seeing. Im not going to see things I don't want to or way over my price range. Like $40k. Also the ADs I go to only sell Rolex watches, they don't sell jewelry. Waiting for the call.

Wow! Do not talk too much, this is very important. This is super interesting. They want to make sure it is a serious transaction. Important to not inquire about the watch you want immediately. The AD will tell you which watch you should wear, possibly even a ring first. Super useful info.
I've come to realize I will never get a Rolex of any kind. I live 2 hours from the closest AD and work virtually every day of the week. Taking 4 hours of my life to every 2 weeks to schmooze a sales person is as ridiculous as it gets.

I am learning watching your videos, Customers likely to both precede and proceed by buying a large amount of watches/jewelry before and after scoring a steel Daytona or suchlike. And, preferably, customers who wear the Rollie to advertise the AD’s magnanimity.

Who tf is gonna do all this? If I want a Daytona I’m not gonna go into a AD and buy wateva watch they think I should buy if that’s the case I’d rather spend the extra 10-15k on the watch I want instead of 10-15k on a watch I never asked for
Top tip: treat them like they are car salesman. If they don't sell you the watch, a swift slap to the mouth usually helps. Good luck
