Heres the other thing... car You might love a different driving style and you'll naturally get faster if you're in a car you enjoy, try to experience as many different types of cars as possible and you'll just get better Really wish the Racing community was bigger cuz GTA has some great physics
2:55 It does work on every platform, It's just with all-wheel drives you can have trouble with on keyboard since it requires to tap brake with hand brake at the same time. Apart from obviously mastering is with S button, the solution to this would be binding brake to your mouse button, it's really easy like this, obviously as long as you hit the right timing. 2:24 Brake boosting might be not hard to get into, but insanely hard to master. It depends on speed. You basically need to feel if your car will be able hit particular bb with the speed you are going at, because every time you miss a brake boost you lose speed. Bb'ing also depends on the height of suspension, there are brake boosts that one car can hit while other can't, even at the same speed. And lastly, the shorter you hold brake for - the greater boost you get. To extract maximum out of every bb, you need to tap brake for as short as possible, so you need to know the exact braking point for every bb you are going for. It's also easier to do so with brake binded to the mouse button. Nice vid 👍
You're right about everything except for the last part of your comment. The amount of time you hold brake for does not correlate to the boost intensity. You'll have to hold brake for a short or long amount of time depending on the crest you're going over. There are ways to influence the intensity of the boost you get, but they're pretty advanced for people here.
Nice vid, but a quick tip: Blurring the video is fine, but you need to put something on the screen that is in focus, unlike the clip at around 3:00. Full blur on the whole screen is tough to watch, especially from up close or when tired.
I'm loving all the videos so far, it's really got me out of the habit of job warping. Sometimes I just get fed up of going around the map. Edit : can you make a video on cars specifically maybe? I want to find a car that has decent speed but is really nimble like the Issi sport.
The thing is.. Going wide in the on a turn, outside or inside past the apex, over taking traffic only works with cars with the good enough traction, Now if I do a freemode job /event where I’m driving my personal vehicle holding gold, hot property or brief cases, I could be driving one of the fastest imani tech car from any class to get away from players pressuring me for what I’m holding. I’m now under pressure depending on how they approach me + the fastest imani tech are balanced out so that explosive armour the car gets affects your traction or weight making it easier for you to over steer when taking corners or overtaking traffic or in some cases a slightly delayed response to turning the wheel, I wouldn’t change it and it’s way more fun
We can all drive EMPTY STREETS fast. Or so I thought... I realise now that some don't seem able to! Some low-suspension cars collide with pavements like hitting a solid wall! ZR380, Turismo etc.
Hi, would you be interested in a Collab with me? I am more experienced in the PvP part of the game but i know many neat tricks about cars/driving too :D
I'm really glad this channel is slowly growing to actually learn you how to drive in GTA 5 and not like oh this car is faster this isnt its genuinely learning how YOU can be better driver
if you haven't heard of Broughy, check him out too. He's tested every car in the game and has put them into tiers. His channel as well as this one is where you can interact with the real racing community

@@5talak yeah for sure man. the car testing definitely isn't his entire shtick, though. he has a racing school series that goes in depth about racing lines and stuff like that. and there's also a lot to learn from his "serious racing" and "Multi-class Endurance Championship" playlists since it's against other player that race clean. also also (sorry for blabbering) one of the most balanced classes in the game is Tuners. the street race series is great for learning how to drive better since it has some of R*'s best works in terms of races. the world record runs (not hacked) show a lot of useful techniques that can be used is pretty much any race

i feel like brake boosting is easy to master i did it you just wait until your 1st gear is about to shift to 2nd then brake and let go then accelerate again
that's not brake boosting. that's what people call the "double clutch" although it's a dumb name for it. what you do is wait until the car is about to shift into THIRD, release the gas, tap hand brake, then hit the gas again. works best in RWD cars. some cars it's actually impossible to do it, for example, the Jester Classic because of a handling flag R* added specifically to prevent the "double clutch" Brake boosting is another mechanic which you should probably look up elsewhere since it's slightly more complicated
@@BluelDev Then he made a mistake. What you described is a "double clutch" as you're saying. Go on youtube and search for a double clutch tutorial and they will explain what you described in your original comment.

THIS. especially the last part. GTAV's driving physics has pretty much ruined other racing games for me. besides like realistic sims and all that
@The3arthquake It has the best arcade physics out there, and it's wild
GTA physics are very fun but I also like the more serious physics of something like forza Motorsport where I have to dial it back and be more precise
@loganm2766 I agree but that's cuz Forza Motorsport is a sim
GTA is an arcade racer
