My husband and I have stayed at Cosmo and Cesars when we have been there more recently. Both were very nice. We stayed at MGM a couple of years ago, didn't like the hotel as much but the event we were going to was held there so convenience was nice.

I don't go to Vegas too much any more. I like the slower pace the river in Laughlin. In my younger days we went to Vegas at least 1x a month, we would stay at a different hotel to see them all.
Honestly, same, I prefer a slower pace lifestyle. However I never pass up an opportunity for a fun staycation on the Strip and hanging out in the pool 😊😊😊

Finally got the notification for this video. TH-cam has been weird. I nearly took a job in Vegas as a travel nurse but last minute went to Oklahoma City instead because of the pay.
I stayed there last January with several friends after a conference a couple hours away because I had to drive through Vegas and they were flying out of the Vegas airport. I thought the hotel was gorgeous, very comfortable, and super quiet and restful. The check in line was obnoxious. The lobby and town area was very charming, though. I really felt like I was in Epcot or something. It was just so surreal and somehow lovely at the same time. My room overlooked the Bellagio fountain and I enjoyed just sitting and watching the fountain show. The only thing I didn’t like was having to walk through the very smokey and loud casinos to get to my room. I wish they had a way to go directly from the lobby and bypass all that, but I get that they’re trying to get people to come in and gamble. I just don’t like the noise and the smoke bothers my lungs so much and it stinks. It’s pretty common for casino hotels, though, so I expected that. There’s a lot of walking and no luggage carts available, so rolling suitcase or a backpack are really nice to have to pack in. I had neither, so I just put what I absolutely needed for one night in a tote bag rather than carrying my large weekender bag all through the hotel. Sounds like you had a very similar experience and a pleasant time.

What kind of work do you do when at your home base? Is that brace dor carpal tunnel syndrome? I used to have that and still jeep my brace on my night table.

This is one of the more reasonable sites to book on strip I noticed when I researched it. But because of that it books up quickly during the events that I have been to. But as a local I am sure she gets discounts for staying there.

I have stayed at Luxor, Bellagio, MGM and Treasure Island when visiting in the past. I liked the Bellagio best but not the prices.
My favorite is the Cosmo, I love the chandelier bar

When I was in Vegas I stayed at the Mirage hotel.
