Ummm...There is actually a jumpstart point under the hood. They put a positive terminal next to the fuse box. Though I must admit, as a Dodge Magnum owner, it doesn't work all the time. It's hard to find a good grounding point because most of the metal pieces in the engine bay are painted. But in the long run, I wish every car had the battery in the trunk. It makes it so easy to hookup electronics, since you don't have to punch through the firewall.

The battery in the trunk thing is actually kinda a pro rather than a con because say if you happen to breakdown on the highway. If a person has to give you a jump, all they have to do is pull up behind you other than trying to get around you, turn around hoping to not get hit by oncoming traffic. And Vice versa all you’d have to do to give someone a jump is pull up in front of them and reverse. 🤷🏽♂️👌🏾
You can't open the truck once the battery dies, it happened with a Jag S Type I was selling There's a red piece of plastic next to the fuse box, there you got the positive pole, a few inches next to it there's a shiny screw with a (-) on it, there's the negative
Damn did thy make the car worse after 06? I have the 06 and it doesn't have any of the fake trim crap and my auto stick doesn't fuck me around like that and it's all I use. I will say it's not the fastest but you'll learn to time it based around that if you use it enough. It does shift reeeeally hard if you don't shift at specific points. Mine is pretty smooth up in the 2.5-3k range and if you're really getting on it it doesn't do it too bad at higher rpms. But yeah there's still times where I'll feel it shift real hard every now and then and it makes me cringe
you can jumpstart it from the front bro if you look by the fuse relay box there should be a positive terminal, just connect the red cable to that and the black to any solid metal but never use the engine for the black cable

thank you bro....the srt8 is probably one of the best cars i have ever driven...i recently blew the engine on mine i made a video about it but im getting a new engine very soon....right now my car has 100k miles...but...the new engine is gonna have 0 miles...to be 100% honest these cars can easily go up to 200k miles...but 120k is already up there and ur gonna be driving the car alot before u know it you will have 150k miles quick...then the car will lose its re sell value....
my advice to you is ..eithet get one between 70k - 100k miles so you can get a few years out of it....or save up a little longer and get a scat pack..it comes with 480HP stock! depends on what youre looking for...if you want a 4dr car...it doesnt get better than the SRT8...hands down!

i blew my 6.1 engine a while back ago i had to go to the dealership to get a new one...it costs $10,000 which in europe might be around $7,000 i think the 5.7L engine might be cheaper around $5,000. it all depends on how much money you are willing to spend...if you dont have much i would go with a charger RT With the 5.7L hemi

Better late then never right. How to Jump start a 2006-2010 Charger. At 5:48 in the video you see a jump terminal with red cap cover left of the fuse box. positive goes there and negative goes anywhere that is ground. I use the motor for ground. You can also jump another car from the post. I was checking to see if I want a SRT8 2006-2010 ,I like that body style or Maybe drop a V10 viper motor in mine cost is about the same. Buy a used SRT8 or The viper motor With every thing it need to run. Transmission, rear end, computer, and and good knows what. I am not a mechanic. I do know some mechanics that might help with the project if I decide to go with the motor swap.

I own a 2013 Chrysler 300 SRT8, and I love it!!!!, the difference between your car and my car, is that obviously you have a muscle car, my car is a muscle car too, it's just mixed with luxury because hey!!!, it's a 300 right?, there's also another thing, you got a 6.1L HEMI, I got a 6.4L HEMI, yours is 425 Horsepower, mine is 470 Horsepower (Except I've upgraded some parts to increase the Horsepower to 500), what else, you probably got a sunroof (correct me if I'm right or wrong), I have a sunroof, that's dual panoramic aka a more larger sunroof that reaches to the back seats (but the back doesn't open, just the front) between my car and yours, we got some awesome cars man, I got an SRT8, You got an SRT8, this makes us Mopar brothers
You need to condition your leather to keep it from cracking and you get longer battery life when the battery is in the trunk you should have some terminals in the engine bay to jumpstart the car
I have the same car only difference my car is red. The carbon fiber I agree was a cheap fix and the seats I like mine haven't started cracking than again it has 5% tint all the way around. The radio I'll be honest it suck crappy design etc I have complete redone my entire car aftermarket pioneer navigation, bypassed the stock amps now running jl audioxd800/8 for mids and highs, sold that p.o.s square sub that came with the car running 2 kicker cvx 12 in a custom dual ported box powered by the 2004 kicker kx1200.1. Replace the stock battery with a optima red top coupled with a stinger hybrid 5 fard capacitor. Lastly replaced every speaker in the car with JBL GX series 2ohm speakers then diablo tuned now this car is to the point we're I really love it.
to stop the volume from doing that go to the settings and change the setting that "makes the music louder when the car accelerates" to off. and u should be good

No you don't- there are jump terminals under the hood. This guy knows nothing about cars. Also...the leather in domestic are all like that and the volume control issue is a bad knob post pretty easily replaceable. So I'd say that narrows the 5 to 2...so that leaves the trim which is nitpicking and the transmission. I consider the only a 5 speed auto and the lack of sophistication of the auto stick to be a valid gripe

they put the battery in the trunk because of the huge engine my uncle had a 2010 he didnt have a problem with it for the few weeks that he had it it was stolen the same month he got it it was all black black rims tinted windows no badge on the back and the licence plate was new from downey nissan in downey california tell me if you see it ☺
Funny, if you would've take a moment to actually look under your hood and/or your video (lol) you would see that on the passenger side of the vehicle there is a BRIGHT red plastic cap (next to what i believe is a fuse box, which on the top of said box has a little thing that shows jumper cable icon)....you flip up that little red tab and boom! you have a place to jump your car..please remember to ground your cable as well. You clearly have too much money and very little car experience. By the way you can avoid leather cracking by taking care of it with leather cream or restoration cream. Come on man.
I remember you saying that you had to jump from the back and hopefully not electrocute yourself....I've never been electrocuted by a 12 volt system. Maybe a little shock....And for the your leather cracked ass, I'd be glad to help you on that. Just need some cash and I'll oblige :)

man, that carbon fiber is part of a kit somebody added. it's not MOPAR. battery life will last longer in trunk due to cooler temps. also there are batter terminals under the hood to jumpstart ya jackhoof! stick to reviews on RC cars, leave the real ones to men.

Definitely no glitch in the radio and this is actually one of a few cars that can be jumped from under the hood or trunk
i have long tube headers a k&N air intake and straight piped the exhaust the air intake doesnt do any performance but itll wake up your exhaust alot!

you can use the block box terminals to jump start it in the engine bay. good video tho. I pretty much have the same exact car .

just exhaust right now...someone told me that getting an air intake didnt make a difference but i still might get it anyway...do you have any mods?

No you don't- there are jump terminals under the hood. This guy knows nothing about cars. Also...the leather in domestic are all like that and the volume control issue is a bad knob post pretty easily replaceable. So I'd say that narrows the 5 to 2...so that leaves the trim which is nitpicking and the transmission. I consider the only a 5 speed auto and the lack of sophistication of the auto stick to be a valid gripe

slavchik Nouchtaev ok i need to touch base on a couple of things...i was praising the car BEFORE THE ENGINE BLEW....given the fact how old this video is...its easy to see how my opinion would change...and second of all why the hell would i want to spend almost DOUBLE the money on an overrated M5 then possibly spend even triple the money on repair bills down the road....anyone can name 4dr sedans thats are better than a charger like an Evo or STI...but when it comes to affordability none of those cars come close to the price of an older model SRT8....dont take these videos so serious dude this isnt life or death...i own a crown vic...a mustang...and a charger....im a car guy...dont get butt hurt if someone says that dodge is a POS company because you know damn well it is....yes i praised it in this video thats months old....then my engine blew and a bunch of other problems and i realized how much dodge sucks as a brand...if you dont agree based on the HUNDREDS of dodge owners on youtube having problems...then you must have your head stuck waaayyyyy up your ass

they put the battery in the trunk because of the huge engine my uncle had a 2010 he didnt have a problem with it for the few weeks that he had it it was stolen the same month he got it it was all black black rims tinted windows no badge on the back and the licence plate was new from downey nissan in downey california tell me if you see it ☺
Funny, if you would've take a moment to actually look under your hood and/or your video (lol) you would see that on the passenger side of the vehicle there is a BRIGHT red plastic cap (next to what i believe is a fuse box, which on the top of said box has a little thing that shows jumper cable icon)....you flip up that little red tab and boom! you have a place to jump your car..please remember to ground your cable as well. You clearly have too much money and very little car experience. By the way you can avoid leather cracking by taking care of it with leather cream or restoration cream. Come on man.
I remember you saying that you had to jump from the back and hopefully not electrocute yourself....I've never been electrocuted by a 12 volt system. Maybe a little shock....And for the your leather cracked ass, I'd be glad to help you on that. Just need some cash and I'll oblige :)

battery life will last longer in trunk due to cooler temps. also there are batter terminals under the hood to jumpstart ya jackhoof!

Look, i've bought an 2006 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona still in the moment and i can't await it until i could Drive it!😍 (& Yes, i wish it was an 2006-2010 SRT8 like yours😅...but hey, i'm from Germany, Bavaria and at Germany a DAYTONA is a really really rare Car. I'm, or i hope i'm lucky with it, i'll see😅)
But i had many different Alfa Romeo, mostly Alfa Romeo 156 with a 3.0 V6 24V or the 2.4 JTD-M 20V Inline 5 cylinder Commonrail Diesel what crancs Out more than 210whp and 500NM, in a beautiful 4 Door Sedan that weights only roundabout 1300kg(2600lbs) and that's really really amazing how much power you feel and that really fast cornering speeds. I'm sure about, that i didn't get that performance for Motorsport use in the Charger. But i know that i didn't bought the Daytona for that. For Motorsport conditions i'll still use these a lot lighter Alfa Romeo.
And the Charger is the nice Power Cruiser in my eyes ☺️
I didn't have that luck yet for own a new Alfa Romeo Giulia QV. Because i'm sure, that Car would make you crazy and give a Motorsport driver like me pushes of pure Adrenaline!😅💪 Oh, "QV" or even "Quadrifoglio Verde" means "🍀" and is italian🇮🇹☺️
