The defendant is weird but the plaintiff isn't all there either, two leases at the same time? He needed a roommate for the first lease then takes another lease at the same time ?
And he moved a woman with two kids to be with him. And now they aren’t even together. So weird how some people make huge commitments without making commitments at the same time
Who cares? He paid his rent. He really liked the girl and was willing to do whatever needed to make it happen. It didn't work. He's back at his original place and didn't have to scurry to find a place. The defendant doesn't seem fully developed as an adult, but boy the judge was sure harsh and disdainful of him. She has probably pushed him to suicide. Is she soulless?
It mesmerizes those bad comments about the boy. "He looks creepy" people says, but the guy showed off to the court and unlike 99.99% of the other litigants he didn't tell any lie. He was clearly upset with the situation he had to stand a point he didn't agree with in order the show to pay his friend.
Thank you! I'm blinded by all of the halos in these comments myself 🤣😂 guarantee half of the people commenting look questionable on their best day! And probably have a meth addict kid living in their basement 🤫 glass houses people!
I see the defendant differently I guess. My heart goes out to him, I have a daughter who struggles with mental health and their development and abilities to take on adulthood do vary from the average person their age. He doesn't strike me as violent, mean spirited nor did the plaintiff mention anything of the sort about odd or violent behavior so it's sort of unfair to assume he's violent or would 'snap' simply because his comprehension skills aren't what some of you are used to seeing. I'd encourage humanity to indulge a bit more in educating ourselves before judging a human being, but that's a total waste of my breath. It was sort of sickening that the judge publicly embarrassed him the way she did, with all of her training & education you'd think she'd be able to identify & have a lot more empathy for a young person who clearly has some social struggles. Especially as a mother of 3 daughters herself that I'm sure had their own struggles at one point or another! JM is usually great, but, no surprise they've canceled her!
@@JollyGoodJewWitch very good point, I hadn't even considered that. So true, I truly empathize with him & pray for the best for that young man and his future

You expressed exactly what I was feeling after watching the judge be so harsh with him. And she did it in such a disdainful way. Really ugly. I have always has some criticisms of her, but this was downright mean.
All the defendant did was not move out when he couldn't afford his rent, other than that I thought he has had the right to look how he wants, and maybe he has some developmental issues... Can we talk about the other litigant that has so much cash from waiting tables that he can afford to take out leases all over town and actually pay them!😲😲😲 That is nuts!
Has anybody else noticed that every single person in the audience seems to be in their early twenties I haven't seen one middle-aged person there yet🤷🏻♀️
Harvey. You're wrong again!!! Don't think you're a lawyer so I'd be careful giving advice! NO NO NEVER let rent slide on anyone. ANYONE. You do it once, they'll do it again. If you are 'giving' enough to do it the once, ask them every week when they'll have YOUR money. And don't stop until you get it.
Totally agree with you, what the heck is Harvey talking about, saying their harsh for only letting rent slide one month... My nephew and I moved in together,we had a lease agreement and we were each going to pay half the rent, and we both had online banking,so we agreed that we'd each pay our share directly too the landlord. So six months in Come to find out he was already two months behind in rent ,and he nor did my landlord think to let me know. It went downhill from there, cause I had no intention of moving,I had way to much invested on the property already and I knew it would be cheaper for me to pay his half of rent and get caught up ...then the shit let the next two months slide ,before he moved back home with his parents. I was forced to take in a stranger to help out with the rest of the rent until the lease was up. He still owes me,but I'll never see a dime. Only family,I would take any other person to court.
@@rezotydnic he's a millennial and thinks that everyone owes him...😄 he really has a mental illness and just has no clue on how things work... which i recently found out.🙂
JM held back on the defendant. She could tell something want quite right. Perhaps he needs some needs some meds or he's already partaking in too many "meds". 🤔🤷🏾♂️
The defendant definitely seems like a shady character!! For some reason I can picture him dancing around in a basement wearing a silk robe saying: "It puts the lotion on the skin or else it gets hosed again!!" (*Buffalo Bill in the movie: "Silence of the Lambs")
He's a human being with some social or developmental issues. Have a heart. I didn't see anything like what you are describing. And the plaintiff didn't indicate any problems with him other than the nonpayment of rent.

But far too immature for responsibilities. His brain isn't fully connected. I don't mean this in a funny way or to hurt him. There are those that just never mature. They need guidance along the way. I wish him the best in the future. ❤️
Wow, defendant really epitomizing the saying "light's on, but no one's home"
This is why you don’t smoke the whole blunt to your head right before court, especially when you are super-introverted.

The defendant is an empty mall where no one is shopping.
Would it hurt the defendant to iron his shirt before coming into court?
That was my first thought when he walked in; it looks like it was pulled from the bottom of the hamper.
What happened to talking to the litigants after the case?
My guess is they gave it to him.
