Jail ages you drastically. This is a completely different woman from the recent video of her walking into her son's interrogation room with her heels and cell phone yelling, "WHY?!". Because YOU failed at being a good mom. That's why!!!! I'm relieved to see these "parents" in the court. There's too many parents that just aren't there for their own children to process the mental turmoil they're going through. He needed help. There's zero zip nada excuse for what he did, but there's also a huge possibility that he wouldn't have done this if he had help.

But most men in the home are weak and leave the mother to do every goddamn thing, no wonder she was unhappy and ran into the arms of another man.

That cable lock was never on. And there is no gun owner I know that takes the ammo out of the car but not the gun lol. That’s gun safety 101. You do not leave a firearm in a car unattended. But she’s trying to make it seem like she intentionally separated the gun from the ammo and hid them in separate places. I don’t by it for a second. Her defense is trash. It would have been a better defense to just explain they’re into guns, they were too busy to see the warning signs and just got complacent. But to add these little nuances is ridiculous. Just my opinion.

She was posting about her life. Michigan is a state where a lot of people hunt and own firearms. It isn't a big deal. Buying the weapon for an unstable child and not keeping it secured, on the other hand, WAS a big deal.

    • @lolwat5569

@@JustJesstheMess Buying a gun for ANY child is a problem. I can't imagine any state allows gun ownership for anyone under the age of 18 and for good reason. (Michigan is 18+) Because a guns purpose is to seriously mame or kill and children are not ever mentally developed enough to fully understand repercussions and the permanence that comes with using one. Of course, an unstable child is more likely to use it to hurt others, but that doesn't mean stable ones can't do the same.

Yes he had issues but didn’t think it was to the point of killing anyone. Instead she blames her husband and tries to make herself out to be so shocked. Not working. She admitted in the cop car they always go to the range” that’s what we do”. Also while she was put in that car she didn’t ask about her son once. As a mom I would want to know. Also didn’t ask about victims only after she asked the most important question. Can I have a cigarette? Cold.

Lier!! “ my husband put it up” which she said means “ it was put in the case with the cable lock ..”!! Lie! The “cable lock” was still, INSIDE the case UNOPENED! Never opened, never used! On the day of the killings, when the cops found the case on the parents’ bed , left opened, the “cable lock” her words, was sitting inside the gun case , unopened ! There is a photo of the cable lock inside the zipped locked packaging it came in unopened! She states the gun case had the “cable lock” on it! She also said they had a gun safe. So why wasn’t her sons’” Christmas present” put in the safe? She did say “ my husband hid the gun”? Why ? Why wasn’t it in the gun safe? Why didn’t she ask her husband “did you put the gun away in the gun safe?” She’s blaming her husband but she too should have checked to make sure her husband did what he was suppose to do! Why check her husband’s words? Because she frequently stated she “ never could trust him… he couldn’t hold a job, he couldn’t show up on times he promised..” SHE said this so why believe he did the right thing with that gun? Why? I’ll tell you why- she was pissed about not getting her Christmas tree that day -her wants were delayed and she was angry!! I can easily see this woman acting like this! Easily! Selfish! Not caring about her husband or son! Just herself. That’s why she didn’t check on the gun being properly secured ! She had to get her tree!! Period! She said this!! She didn’t care if the gun was secured or not. She wanted her Black Friday bargains and her tree cut down! Period! No she couldn’t foresee her son would take the unlocked gun to school but she knew he loved that gun and was excited about having it! She knew!! She had soooo many chances to secure that gun but she put her own wants first! Which imo is the way she always acts! No wonder her son couldn’t talk to her! Would you? Somebody who just wants what she wants never asking what you want? Unbelievable she had any children. Thank goodness she only had one. No wonder her son was an “oops” baby! She never wanted a baby to interfere with her being Queen bee! With her having to put herself second or even not at all to a child! It’s so obvious that having 3 -5 children then an oops baby number 4/5 etc I could understand but one child! ? No I don’t get why she would call him that but to be angry she had to give someone, other than herself, attention!! GUILTY PLEASE!! For every lazy selfish parent out there who doesn’t check into their teenagers lives! If she goes to prison maybe those lazy parents will say “ I don’t want to go to jail so I better get off my phone and check my teens homework. Ask him what they’re studying in school..” maybe that the next shooter’s parents will be more mature and be a parent and not your kids best friend ! So you’re teen doesn’t like you but your teen still knows he’s not going to get any gun in your house!! The parent would be too afraid of going to jail ! GUILTY!! YES SHE IS! If she had done any one thing to secure that gun like ask dad” did you put the cable lock on the gun ?” A simple question but he might say “ nope I forgot I’ll do it now ..” then ask him again did you put the cable lock on the gun?” That’s all she had to do? I don’t even know a thing about guns. I’ve never been to a shooting gallery but I always ask my husband where is your hunting rifle? Oh can I see it?” Then I see the locked case! Done. = NO SCHOOL SHOOTINGS, 2-3 questions and that shooting never would have occurred!! Now you who think she’s not guilty tell me why one of my reasons here is unacceptable! Tell me why you/ her did not have to make sure the new gun that her son knew was bought for him wouldn’t ask if it’s locked up? Tell me one reason! She didn’t trust her husband she says she didn’t!! Why wouldn’t she ask if the gun was locked up then? Tell me !

A lot of mistakes were made by the school as well as in why no one checked this kids locker or bookbag because I have seen that done for far less concerns than these and the parents and the school both dropped the ball but I dont think the parents should go down for murder at all I think they need some form of punishment but not prison for murder.

She is being charged with involuntary manslaughter. (NOT murder as some are saying.) it’s a bold move for the prosecution but they are trying to hold both the parents and the school accountable for allowing this to happen via lawsuits.

She just implicated herself in not storing the key safely. She should have known. It was in a beer Stein. So a 15 yr old woukd just have to look in the steins. She was reckless.

If you're going to have guns in your house and have children, you need to take them to class as for guns safety. I'm thinking the boy had mental issues
