I have the S5 version of this machine and really like it. First of all, if you spill a bottle of BBQ sauce or hot sauce on your floor, get a roll of paper towels and wipe most of it up like normal people do. Secondly, if you use this on a regular basis, you don't need to vacuum first. It works, and the proof is in the dirty tank, which I'd recommend you dump out in your yard. Overall, your review was somewhat snarky.
I got mine used for a great price. I have hard flooring only, so this works amazingly well for me to keep my vinyl kitchen and bathroom floors clean and my hardwood floors throughout the house. Clean up isn’t bad at all. Just a few paper towels to grab any pet hair and then a good rinse. I love it!
I purchased the same S3 earlier this week after comparing it with the Bissel Crosswave and Shark Hydrovac . For hard floors it works extremely well and vacuuming beforehand eases the cleanup after using it, which must be done. Works almost like a commercial floor scrubber but compact. After watching your outstanding reviews and teardowns of Sebo Vacuum cleaners (next purchase) I am feeling a bit of buyer's remorse. Not because of what the Tineco does today, but because in 3 years when the battery is dead, or something breaks I'll have no choice but to toss it. Seems like Tineco may be on par with Bissel, Shark and the like. Parts may simply not be available and no one will want to repair it. If a similar product were built like a Sebo or similar with a 1500 hour plus life expectancy and a dealer network with readily available parts, I would buy one tomorrow and not be too concerned with the cost. The quality will remain long after the price is forgotten. If I'm lucky it will die a month before the 2yr warranty expires and they may send me a "new" refurb unit. Overall the S3 suits my type of flooring and I am pleased with the results but hope I get my money's worth.
I would say once you have one You definitely notice a difference. The fact that you're not putting down dirty water and the device that's agitating is usually getting cleaned every rotation. You're also putting in significantly less effort for better results.
You should get their s5 steam cleaner, its corded, but there isn't anything else like it out there. At CES this year they announced the new s7 and s7 cordless steam/vac cleaner. I have a brand new Roborock s7+ maxv ultra in its box, thinking of sending it back and getting a s5 for cleaning the floors and a miele c3 for all the tile and carpet. two giant german shepherds, so much hair. We have a older Roomba i7 and it does a lot of the maintenance during the day with the dog hair.
This is an interesting idea, however I will stick to the old fashioned way of cleaning floors. I might be stuck in the past, but I perfer doing it the old fashioned way.
I think it's better than the floor mate. It leaves the floor dryer and I think it cleans a little better. I think the advantage of the format has is on tile it gets in a little bit better and it's cheaper.

I’ve had this machine for three years or so. Battery works as if I just bought it yesterday.
How does it compare to the Hizero ?looks like the Hizero is easier to clean though, have you tried the latest Hizero model?
Thanks for the review. It would have been better if you checked the cleanliness of the back-channel AFTER you did the self clean.
You should've completed the clean cycle. I've used mine for 2yrs now and it cleans extremely well. My floors are less porous then yours also.
Does the cannister remain stained? Here it looked like a rinsed paper towel.
rightnow good or not ?
I think it is a cool idea, but I'll stick to vacuuming first and using a mop. I'm old-fashioned.
But you’ll save so much time
@@suberkid18 Maybe, but that would be if the machine is efficient enough.
@@suberkid18 You'll waste time at the end of the job when cleaning out the machine.
Is there any proof that auto scrubbers work better than just competent mopping?

bro said it struggled with the blue stuff.. it literally cleaned it up on the first pass lmao

how to use dry mode to vacuum only? instead of only using wet?
You don't use this for dry pick up
How do you think this compares to the Hoover Floormate?

Seems a lot like their earlier Floor 2, save it talks to you and has bigger battery.
I’ll stick with the extra effort and continue steaming my floors.
Must be better than a swifter wet mop😂😊
