@@markhall4778 Simply question, define good? You cannot, there is no scientific concept of good, if we think of good, we can think of benefiting ourselves, thereby theft is good..... This little exercise was to show you that good and bad are not judged by humans, as we are all subjective and we need an objective source. Now coming on to your claims, firstly what are the criteria for committing adultery and why do you only mention female adultery? The criteria is 4 male witnesses, now tell me where this is likely the case??? Almost never. So then why have this punishment? Well it acts as a deterrent, would anyone good or bad go anywhere near a sin knowing that stoning is the punishment? No, and thus society is mostly free from that disgusting act. Who is affected by adultery?? Children mostly (the future), the husband, the wife, the families either side, and as the family is the heart of a society it becomes a chain affect, this leads to mass depression, mental illnesses..... So look at the mercy and wisdom behind this "barbaric" punishment. If you look at the correlation between so called freedom, especially freedom of sex and such and depression and suicide, it becomes obvious that this is the root cause. However as we live in a society that is not spiritually aware we look over such issues and try and use drugs and other such remedies that tend to have massive side effects, in particular alcohol which leads to immense violence. So just a simple case of cheating in your mind has great impacts, and your mercy to one human has now shown the opposite to so many more. Therefore you are not so merciful after all, and also not so wise.

Very beneficial lecture. I watched it in three days lol. let me share my personal way of learning the biographies of classical scholars or any other public figures. First, I would watch video/audio lectures about the individual's biography and later I would read books about him/her. video/audio lectures help me to remember the entire story but I won't be able to catch date/names etc. to review the story and memorize figures I refer to books. Of course, you have note key points from books and lectures. May Allah grant more scholar like Imam Bukhari rahimuAllah.

Just a note: Bukhara is in Uzbekistan, central asia, but it is not the capital. Capital of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, Bukhara is for sure beautiful and historic city, but for the last two decades it has been nothing, but Tourist attraction and visited by thousands every year (mostly for the reason that it was very influential part of Great Silk Road).

I love this institute and what brother Nouman is doing is having a great positive affect on the ummah alhamdulilah, but deleting comments that bring up legitimate concerns about hadith is not right. People are asking questions, having concerns because they are genuinely searching for the truth and the right answers. Rather than pushing 'hadith rejectors' to the side I think it would be more conductive to address the issue and share knowledge and advice. And Allah know best.

Assalamualaikum Alhamdulillah and jazakaAllah bikhair for an excellent introduction to our famous hadith scholars and imam. we need to study the lives of our great scholarss more to appreciate their sincerity , effort and contribution. despite their differences they were all lovers of Allah swt and the ummah. it is very sad that some modern scholars have the cheek to put in their so called sheikhs who are no where near our icons of past such as albani to "authenticate" bukhari. these scholars , may Allah swt reward them for their good intentions and effort but they and their followers are not the worth the dirt in the fingers of our great scholars of the past, people such as Imam AL Bukhari and Imam al Ghazali rahimahullah and our four great imams of the mazaahib. Just a few questions...i will write them as they come to me...(in no particular order....) Was prophet Mohamed a sunni? Were muslims at the time of prophet Mohamed sunni? If so, what proof of this is there? Had prophet Mohamed heard of the term sunni? Were the people who came to islam during his prophethood Sunni or Muslims? Thank you all...
sunni and shia sect came due to political conflict that arose long after the Prophet peace be upon him . It is only Islam that is more relevant , submission to one true God. Avoid polytheism and associating GOD the almighty with any other.
Hi, the people who are now called sunni are the ones who hold on to the sunnah of Rasulullah SAW and the Quran. Who holds on to the practice of Ummatan Wasatan, the moderate nation. The jurisprudence of the 4 major imams, Imam Abu Hanifa RA, Imam Malik RA, Imam Shafi'i RA and Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal RA, are all considered correct. When you follow one, you are to be tolerant of others who might follow a different imam. I can only imagine that the term sunni is coined to differentiate from the shia and it comes after the death of the prophet SAW. Beware of the Shia. They might look the same, sound the same, claim to follow the same Quran and Hadith but muslim scholars and muftis have judged that they are indeed deviant and calls people to the deviant. They are considered out of Islam for being utterly disrespectful to the memories of the Companions and wives of Rasulullah SAW. Recently, they are disrespecting Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim AND Imam Shafi'i RA. They are not tolerant and unwilling to listen to reason. I'm only putting this out because the danger of Shia is real and I'm afraid for my children as they are infiltrating the public schools in Malaysia.

Mr 5 Hi again. Firstly,JazakAllah Khair, thank you for all your questions. They are inspiring me to research about the Imams of the 4 Madhab. All your answers can be found if you do a little research. Don't only use Google but also try to find a nearby Scholar or something. I am only at nursery 1 level when it comes to Islamic history. But if I try to answer your questions, it will take a one to one meeting with a Sheikh somewhere. Anyone who submits his will to Allah is a Muslim and Allah decrees many times in the Quran, Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (salla Allah alaihi wa sallam). The imams of the four major Madhab are recognised by multiple, up to 70 scholars at a once, of THEIR time to be following the correct way as taught by the Prophet salla Allah alaihi wa sallam. They lived within three generations off the generation of the Prophet salla Allah alaihi wa sallam and they are the best of akhlaq, well loved by the community. Imam Hambal is the only one who is part of the fourth generation after the Prophet salla Allah alaihi wa sallam. Haddith collectors, like Imam Bukhari, must also have the best of akhlaq for people to believe them. And they would truly research the person whom related such haddiths so thoroughly that no one at that point of history had reasons to refute. If you view the video, maybe you can get a better idea. When these people say," La Ilaha IllAllah Muhammadur Rasulullah." It's not a concept or just religion or a way to make money, It is a way of life. Only the truth and nothing else. Servant of Allah and no one else. My statement was not any oxymoron. These are the fabrications concocted by the Shia leaders. But you are starting to show your true self. Show me your proof of the 'Haddith' that you are saying. You, my friend, you who is just a guy on a journey trying to find the truth, have been exposed to the teachings of Shia, am I correct? Are you going to be tolerant and willing to listen to reason?
everything was Great!! But first of all Bukhara was a capital of many historical Tajik countries in the past. Unfortunately Soviet Russia divided those cities such that Tajiks and Uzbeks be always busy fighting with each other over those cities. Fortunately it's not happening now. Secondly Mongols invaded Bukhara in 13th century but Omar Suleiman is saying that Ibn Battuta enetered the city in 1033 or 1133 so that means Ibn Battuta entered the city long before it was invaded by the Mongols. Omar Suleiman I love you as a scholar but please check any historical facts before conveying it to others. I know these things because I am from the country where al-Bukhari is from.

This little exercise was to show you that good and bad are not judged by humans, as we are all subjective and we need an objective source.
Now coming on to your claims, firstly what are the criteria for committing adultery and why do you only mention female adultery? The criteria is 4 male witnesses, now tell me where this is likely the case??? Almost never.
So then why have this punishment? Well it acts as a deterrent, would anyone good or bad go anywhere near a sin knowing that stoning is the punishment? No, and thus society is mostly free from that disgusting act.
Who is affected by adultery?? Children mostly (the future), the husband, the wife, the families either side, and as the family is the heart of a society it becomes a chain affect, this leads to mass depression, mental illnesses..... So look at the mercy and wisdom behind this "barbaric" punishment. If you look at the correlation between so called freedom, especially freedom of sex and such and depression and suicide, it becomes obvious that this is the root cause. However as we live in a society that is not spiritually aware we look over such issues and try and use drugs and other such remedies that tend to have massive side effects, in particular alcohol which leads to immense violence. So just a simple case of cheating in your mind has great impacts, and your mercy to one human has now shown the opposite to so many more. Therefore you are not so merciful after all, and also not so wise.

let me share my personal way of learning the biographies of classical scholars or any other public figures.
First, I would watch video/audio lectures about the individual's biography and later I would read books about him/her.
video/audio lectures help me to remember the entire story but I won't be able to catch date/names etc. to review the story and memorize figures I refer to books. Of course, you have note key points from books and lectures.

Capital of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, Bukhara is for sure beautiful and historic city, but for the last two decades it has been nothing, but Tourist attraction and visited by thousands every year (mostly for the reason that it was very influential part of Great Silk Road).

I love this institute and what brother Nouman is doing is having a great positive affect on the ummah alhamdulilah, but deleting comments that bring up legitimate concerns about hadith is not right. People are asking questions, having concerns because they are genuinely searching for the truth and the right answers. Rather than pushing 'hadith rejectors' to the side I think it would be more conductive to address the issue and share knowledge and advice. And Allah know best.

Alhamdulillah and jazakaAllah bikhair for an excellent introduction to our famous hadith scholars and imam. we need to study the lives of our great scholarss more to appreciate their sincerity , effort and contribution. despite their differences they were all lovers of Allah swt and the ummah. it is very sad that some modern scholars have the cheek to put in their so called sheikhs who are no where near our icons of past such as albani to "authenticate" bukhari. these scholars , may Allah swt reward them for their good intentions and effort but they and their followers are not the worth the dirt in the fingers of our great scholars of the past, people such as Imam AL Bukhari and Imam al Ghazali rahimahullah and our four great imams of the mazaahib. May Allah swt guide the misguided so called salafis and bring them back to the zikr and taqwa and from the form of the shariah to its spirit and compassion to the ummah and mankind. from the mindless jihad of al qaeda and dash to the mindful jihad of our scholars of the past.

Was prophet Mohamed a sunni?
Were muslims at the time of prophet Mohamed sunni? If so, what proof of this is there?
Had prophet Mohamed heard of the term sunni?
Were the people who came to islam during his prophethood Sunni or Muslims?

sunni and shia sect came due to political conflict that arose long after the Prophet peace be upon him .
It is only Islam that is more relevant , submission to one true God. Avoid polytheism and associating GOD the almighty with any other.
Hi, the people who are now called sunni are the ones who hold on to the sunnah of Rasulullah SAW and the Quran. Who holds on to the practice of Ummatan Wasatan, the moderate nation. The jurisprudence of the 4 major imams, Imam Abu Hanifa RA, Imam Malik RA, Imam Shafi'i RA and Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal RA, are all considered correct. When you follow one, you are to be tolerant of others who might follow a different imam.
I can only imagine that the term sunni is coined to differentiate from the shia and it comes after the death of the prophet SAW.

They might look the same, sound the same, claim to follow the same Quran and Hadith but muslim scholars and muftis have judged that they are indeed deviant and calls people to the deviant. They are considered out of Islam for being utterly disrespectful to the memories of the Companions and wives of Rasulullah SAW. Recently, they are disrespecting Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim AND Imam Shafi'i RA. They are not tolerant and unwilling to listen to reason.
I'm only putting this out because the danger of Shia is real and I'm afraid for my children as they are infiltrating the public schools in Malaysia.

Surely this statement is an oxymoron.
The same companions of the prophet who are highly regarded in your example are the same companions who have spread filthy stories of the prophet Mohamed through 'hadith' texts, that sunni and shia scholars differ their opinions on....some believe the stories, others don't.

Mr 5 Hi again. Firstly,JazakAllah Khair, thank you for all your questions. They are inspiring me to research about the Imams of the 4 Madhab. All your answers can be found if you do a little research. Don't only use Google but also try to find a nearby Scholar or something. I am only at nursery 1 level when it comes to Islamic history. But if I try to answer your questions, it will take a one to one meeting with a Sheikh somewhere.
Anyone who submits his will to Allah is a Muslim and Allah decrees many times in the Quran, Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (salla Allah alaihi wa sallam).
The imams of the four major Madhab are recognised by multiple, up to 70 scholars at a once, of THEIR time to be following the correct way as taught by the Prophet salla Allah alaihi wa sallam. They lived within three generations off the generation of the Prophet salla Allah alaihi wa sallam and they are the best of akhlaq, well loved by the community. Imam Hambal is the only one who is part of the fourth generation after the Prophet salla Allah alaihi wa sallam.
Haddith collectors, like Imam Bukhari, must also have the best of akhlaq for people to believe them. And they would truly research the person whom related such haddiths so thoroughly that no one at that point of history had reasons to refute. If you view the video, maybe you can get a better idea.
When these people say," La Ilaha IllAllah Muhammadur Rasulullah." It's not a concept or just religion or a way to make money, It is a way of life. Only the truth and nothing else. Servant of Allah and no one else.
My statement was not any oxymoron. These are the fabrications concocted by the Shia leaders. But you are starting to show your true self. Show me your proof of the 'Haddith' that you are saying. You, my friend, you who is just a guy on a journey trying to find the truth, have been exposed to the teachings of Shia, am I correct?

everything was Great!! But first of all Bukhara was a capital of many historical Tajik countries in the past. Unfortunately Soviet Russia divided those cities such that Tajiks and Uzbeks be always busy fighting with each other over those cities. Fortunately it's not happening now. Secondly Mongols invaded Bukhara in 13th century but Omar Suleiman is saying that Ibn Battuta enetered the city in 1033 or 1133 so that means Ibn Battuta entered the city long before it was invaded by the Mongols. Omar Suleiman I love you as a scholar but please check any historical facts before conveying it to others. I know these things because I am from the country where al-Bukhari is from.
Fareed Ubaid Ibne Batuta was born in 1304 and died 1369

- one point i learned from this is that your memory gets weak if you commit many sins.

Bukhari is responsible for most of the contradictions in islam.you need not to have faith on him .Faith only Quran
