Assalamu alaykum. Imam al-Bukhari's grave is not in Bukhara. After that controversy with the governor of Bukhara as mentioned by Shaykh Yasir Qadhi, Imam left Bukhara and moved to the place near the city of Samarkand (geographically not so far from Bukhara. Today both cities of Samarkand and Bukhara are located in Uzbekistan). He lived there until his last days. His grave is in a place called Khartang which is not far from the city of Samarkand. (I hope Shaykh Yasir Qadhi forgives me for correcting him. I could not pass without correcting him because I have to as I am a compatriot of Imam)
Bukhari was one of the best imam of muslims

Can’t agree at 1:04:49 as Muslim was stricter in compilation method and Tirmidhi was better in classifying Hadiths regarding authenticity

Assalamu alaykum. Bukhara is not in Iran. It is in Uzbekistan (Former Union of Soviet Socialistic Republics - USSR). It may be true for him to be persian in his ethnicity. The time Muhammad ibn Ismail lived Bukhara was a part of Samanids' State.

Jazak Allah khair for the video. But at 25:20 I thought Bukhari had 1,000 dinars not 10,000? I looked it up as well and all the sources say 1,000
thanks for clarification, and it matches the conversion sheikh yasir qadhi said, a thousand dinar is around 1/4 million dollars. sheikh said in the video "10,000 dinars equals 1/4 million dollars", but the right one is 1,000 dinars equals 1/4 million dollars, and you have clarified the right one is 1,000 dinars. seems like he forget the real amount dinars but remember the result of conversion in dollars.
Yes, I think the correct amount is1,000 Dinars, which is what I heard from another Sheikh that also gave a comprehensive talk on the life of Imam Bukhari. I realise that the highly respected Sheikh Yasir Qadhi is a fast speaker, and therefore, he may sometimes say something a bit different from what he actually means. Sometimes he realizes and corrects by himself, but sometimes not. AlhamdulilLah such minor differences are usually not on material issues. This is just my observation.

Bukhara now is in Uzbekistan.but those years parts of tajikistan afghanistan uzbekistan even part of Iran were one country.so he is the ancestor of all those people now.well generally he is a great scholar for all muslims.he was born in Bukhara and buried in Samarkan,Poyarik province,Chelak village.

Ahmed Ibn Hanbal was in his 50s when Bukhari was in his 20s. (16:12 into the lecture). Imam Bukhari himself said that he stayed in Hijaj for six years but you said 10 years.

Total hadith written and collected by bukhari = 600,000 hadith
To collect and select the hadeeth, Bukhari spent over 16 years to visit different cities to meet the narrators, collecting and selecting hadits. Among the cities is Basrah, Egypt, Hijaz (Mecca, Medina), Kufa, Baghdad to the West Asia. In Baghdad, Bukhari is often met and discussed with great scholar Imam Ahmad bin Hanbali. From a number of these cities, he met with 80,000 narrators.
16 YEARS = 8.409, 600 min
60 minutes x 24 hours x365 Day x 16 years = 8.4096 million minutes (16 years )
Hadith gathered 600,000 within 16 years.
8,409,600 / 600,000 = 14.016 minutes
You could say it took 14 minutes for Bukhari to validate the hadith
Over time using the assumption Bukhari did not sleep, eat, worship and not running nowhere. While obviously Bukhari travell to Basrah, Egypt, Hijaz (Mecca, Medina), Kufa, Baghdad to the West Asia.

In that time there were different languages in Khurasan. Major of them were Persian and Pashto. Past Khurasan was consist of present Afghanistan and some parts of Iran, Uzbakistan and Turkamanistan. Now a days one state of Iran called Khurasan, which was a part of past Khurasan.

Turks inhabits this area from thousands of years.. Please read the history of farsi people. Arab historian also desceibe fars and khurasan two different areas. abdirahman this is what i found in a book called authentic Bukhari in a Muslim book store, you will see this in some islamic book stores and I’m surprised what i found but what do you expect it’s a book written by man and anyone can change its content at anytime and call it authentic.
I’m Muslim, I’m always learning about Islam but what I’ve found is that Quran can never be changed or words added in to the Quran and the Quran hasn’t been changed in 1400 years so i trust the Quran only, I used to research on Hadiths but they are too problematic and go against the Quran. So now I’m only reading and following the Quran only because i don’t trust any other books written by man, my problem is Hadiths haven’t been approved by the prophet or Allah? So why are we following books that haven’t been approved by our prophet Muhammad (pbuh)? Why are scholars making rules and laws in Islam that haven’t been approved by the prophet or Allah? Has everyone forgotten about the law of Allah in the Quran? Is Bukhārī law better then the Quran law? Which one do you believe and follow Bukhari or Quran???? But you can’t follow both you need to pick one only so choose wisely?
@@lolyou6676hadiths are important they are the speech and life of the prophet. they are some rulings in the hadith not found in the Quran without the hadith, a Muslim would not know how to pray. the command of prayer is present in the Quran but the steps and ritual is shown in the hadiths.

I do not doubt that we have alot of the sayings of prophet Muhammad SalAllahu Alayhi wa sallam in "Sahih Bukhari", but Yasir seems to fail to mention that actually some scholars have said that not allt 7000+ hadiths are "Sahih", including as of my knowledge: Ibn Hajar and Al-Albaani, not they dont mention loads of hadith, but there are as i know SOME, and i think that this is important to mention, only the Qur'an is perfect and free of any form of impurity.

There are also seriously contradictory Hadiths in Sahi Bukhari which include the Hadiths in relation to how long the Prophet pbh had spent before migrating to Modina
Obviously, the Koran said things that contradict Boukhari. Which side is given by Allah? The Koran of course. Hence, teaching people about how nice is Boukhary is irrelevant. If he said something that contradict the Koran, that something must be rejected.

Wow got up to 1:07 just to hear the horendous school system or at least the part that was described...so his sheik told him 'to just follow bukhari.' such ignorant teachings right from the start. What bukhari is or not isn't my concern but saying just go with bukhari isn't objective at all. Classes are for discussions as well as learning and to open up the mind n have new findings...not for being told what is already known and to go alone with so and so.
how can a salafi explain SAHIH hadith's from al bani?
This is not a platform for opinions and those claiming jahannam for others have they got a ticket to jannah.
Why not he( bukari) include even a single narration of hadith from Fatima Az Zahra. Is she don't know any hadith.? Never met her own father(Prophet Muhammad)? She never heard her father spoke such and such?~ Just curious!

Having a strong memory claim can’t be good enough to decipher Hadith and his effort at the teen age can’t be analytical enough regarding geo politics and the impacts the scholars had on them against writing or transmitting Hadiths until those had reached him. Bukhari was not an expert in political analysis at teen age as there is no proof to back that up.

In most of the cases he failed to write full names of the narrators which makes it extremely difficult to justify Hadiths when more people existed with the same name in any given generation. Bukhari also did not take into account the issues of why many scholars of Madina had burnt Hadiths in fear of corruptors and why he did not collate Hadiths from the greatest companions of the prophet pbh and why he had based too much reliance on Abu Huraira Ra. Seriously questionable collections by Bukhari. It Is also not acceptable that he judged Amal too much and did not try to decipher probable intentions to weigh Hadiths

Imam Bukhari put corrupted hadith as well, such as Abu Hurairah also passes corrupted hadith, such as,
Narrated Abu Huraira:
"The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'The best alms is that which is given when one is rich, and a giving hand is better than a taking one, and you should start first to support your dependents.' A wife says, 'You should either provide me with food or divorce me.' A slave says, 'Give me food and enjoy my service." A son says, "Give me food; to whom do you leave me?" The people said, "O Abu Huraira! Did you hear that from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ?" He said, "No, it is from my own self."
***Note that, in the opening statement he said "The Prophet (ﷺ) said", but upon people's query he admit "No, it is from my own self."

U Seems to Be mistaken, the hadith is In 2 parts, I assume when People Asked Abu Hurayra, He answered about the 2nd part, which starts from "A wife says..."
the first part being explained by prophet,... and the Examples Being given By Abu Hurayra.
To support this, U can Read The Hadith Next to this very Hadith, there's only half part of it. i.e., Hadith No. 5356. ☺
Raheem Uddin, yes I read the 5356 hadith. As you said you "assumed" it was an explanation from Abu Huraira, but reading both hadith(5355 & 5356), there's no indication that Abu Huraira said it was an explanation, rather seems like the people who ask him for clarification had some knowledge of identifying false hadith. Hence they confront Abu Huraira and thus he admitted, it was from him.

Brother, I'm not a scholar of hadith but i found the following hadith:
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:
Are you not *surprised at AbuHurayrah?* He came and sat beside my apartment, and began to narrate traditions from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) making me hear them. I was saying supererogatory prayer. He got up (and went away) before I finished my prayer. Had I found him, I would have replied to him. *The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not narrate traditions quickly one after another as you narrate quickly.*
_by reading this, it's clear that Umml Muminin Aisha, didn't approved what AbuHurayrah said, that's why she wanted to correct him, but he already left_
