I was really hoping to hear the full 105db power of the ringtone
Tech channel I was looking for.
Been planning on getting a “escaping the dystopia of smartphones.” This review helps. Thanks Dankpods!
Gotta love how you upload a flip nuggie vid right when my Cat S22 Flip arrived.
And i think you misunderstood! That Nokia 2660 Flip isn't a replacement to the old one. In fact, it is the Nokia 2780 Flip which has a very similar design to this one, and better yet, updated KaiOS and USB-C. Problem is, idk if the 2780 Flip is officially sold in Australia and other regions. But i would say this is actually a step up
This reminded me of the vid where Wade got some cheap phones and was trying each one to see which one he would use for his work phone!
Edit: Y’all I’m stupid, I commented first and then watched the vid because I wanted to be early and then forgot about this comment.
This it's the sequel
Gosh dang it I wonder why 😮
@@Paco8478Yeah you’re right, I haven’t watched the vid before commenting because I wanted to be early. Oops
Holy Jesus, Dank's T9 typing is insane.
1:05 It's green though, I like green! -DankPods 2024
I HAVE THAT PHONE RN 0:01
I always see them kids who be gettin grounded who gotta use flip phones and the 2660 is definitely the most common of them.

Oh wow, that opel phone's toaster mic must have been already thrown in a bathtub at some point.
"But honey, what about our dat-"
SHUSH, DANKPODS POSTED
All of these "phones for old people" (cause that's what these are marketed as around here) are hilarious to me cause when my grandma asks me how to do a thing on one of these, I can't help her. Cause I don't know.
This!!! Got my mom the Jitterbug flip phone and it was so difficult for her, and for me to figure out and explain, that we got her a smartphone instead. The smartphone is still confusing, but a lot less so than the “old style” flip phone.
Uggo is my favorite australianism. Makes me giggle every time
1:40 i think that's when you stabbed the box with a knife you dingus
idk it's a different orientation
Damn the fact that even in the flip phone world, the biggest companies make the worst crap
1:30 get with the times dingus! He yells as he unboxes his new flip phone
Cat S22 Flip, you must experience this chonkiest of nuggs. it even has USB-C!
I own one and love it so much. Got it after I broke three phones in a row 😂
@@theussmirage I love answering any phone related conversation with "My phone can beat up your phone"
How does our product compete with the s22 should be bullet #1 for dumbphones.
105 decibels is deafeningly loud. That’s like going to a concert without hearing protection.
Opel is something I'd sooner expect to see on Garbage Time XD
Only slightly more functional than the car
Wow.
They couldn't even give you the bloatware on that phone for free, what kind of world do we live in.
So glad Dank finally got himself a good phone. You finally got there, buddy! Proudda you! 🥰
8:25 anyone else see the dead pixel on the phone screen on the bottom right…?!? 🤣
9:13 DRUNK!?
"Nokia has done it. They've given you something that doesn't exist." This line destroyed me.
0:23 that phone vs 1 grit!! Love your content mate
That is the most beautiful video recording sound I've heard of all the nuggs, couldn't stop laughing at it
The frank master hath returned to shout at electronic devices

Dank "this is my daily driver work phone"
Also Dank "i don't know how to type"
Dank is showing his age by how fast he's able to type of those phones
The Enmbor-kening
I'm watching this on a power outage. This brings me a smile on these boring times :)
Have a look at the Japanese flip phone market, they have some great nugs.
When 2018 is considered old. I feel old.
WAAADE, where can we see you playing some jazz? Not the garbage stream or the drum thing, just some standards and what not?
Lock him up in your basement and force him to play for you
@@itsjustchloe9635 I did that it worked perfectly
@@itsjustchloe9635 🤤
Ahahaha, it's funny to me he didn't realize it's press 5, by himself...... It's been like that on most dumbphones since the end of time.....
And I know Dank knows, because we are same age, and they were heavily popular at the time....
Fold phones are reverse evolution in a modern way
u r dumb
Definitely find a couple more copies of the old dumbphone for parts
Wade: hates android bloat
It's smasnug's fault
Wade should get a Google pixel
Those "two pathetic brass pins" are "pogo" charging.... responsible for almost ever first responders phone/radio ever... cops, firemen, ambulance drivers...
6:22 mate the keypad on that is for my 80 year old gma
Ah, yes. The pain of attempting to open a Dumb Phone. Any time a customer asks me to open one, I sigh loudly and prepare myself to sacrifice my nails. The clips are, surprisingly, sturdy.
Also, Opel seems to be the Australian version of the Scandinavian Doro brand.
Australian man screams at flipphones
Bro that newer flip phone looked SOLID until the predictive text. Holy shit fuck 🎉
"Get with the times!" screams the man upgrading his dumb phone to another dumb phone.
Oh yeah even these kinds of Phones are getting worse, i work in a store that sells these and we often take them back because elderly people can't even figure these out as opposed to their old nokia phones lol
Damn... USB-C AND HEADPHONE JACK?!
This thing's better than all of Apple!
iPhone 15’s have USB-C
The enshittenment is so real!
