This is an amazing fusion of different and yet related musical cultures. Especially the singing of Darlene is a fresh and surprising element. Surely the Indian people of Canada are related with the people of East of the Eurasian continent.
I think they are, the first humans crossed the Bering Strait into Canada from Eurasia. Mexicans are in fact Buryats from Siberia. I wouldn't be surprised.

Kiya Tabassian is Not from East of Eurasia, but rather from West Asia (Iran has a border with Turkey, and of Course Turkey is in Europe)!!
Only around 3% of Turkey is geographically european (eastern thracia). The rest is literally considered "asia minora" and thus geographically part of asia.
