The 61 Morris reminds me of my one, same colour. It was an 850 with the thin tailed oil fed primary gear. Rapidly changed for a 1098 with Cooper 12G295 head. Sadly written off due to frozen mud and cow's dung on a country lane. Glad to see this one in great condition.
Doddy, is your fuel quality-alcohol content, effecting tuning in any? I'm an Austin A30/35 Club member, and the group is constantly talking about that, the fuel eating rubber bits, and drivability issues. I'm in America, E10 is pretty ubiquitous everywhere. We use it in anything that runs gas. Chainsaws, generators, all of it. No issues. Maybe our hoses are different. We can get alcohol free, but only in 85 octane. And rarely. Our mid-west states have E5, E10, E15, and E85. All corn based. Thoughts?
Another great video. That 61’, what an absolute beauty. That was an enthusiast dream. Excellent work as always.
Invaluable Information in your videos. I have only just discovered AC Dodd and have binge watched all your previous content 😊
Glad you like them!

Yes it’s leaning out the mix. However a proper tune restores that and the a-series loves this new fuel, they seem much more resilient to knock.
do you ever travel to Glasgow
Yes, but it’s not needed, there are a number of established individuals whom I have already trained
Hiiii Travel’s Dad
Why don’t you show the gauge you’re using for the petrol mix instead of reeling from one guy to another saying the same thing it’s ok now ? 😢
AC has some videos showing it more in detail. But he will not show the complete process on camera, to protect
the secrets of his trade.
