That's ridiculous, there is no Randy without Jimi. How can you love the guy that's just covering the genius who created it, more. I love Randy and he is the best at doing Hendrix but to say you love him more is just nonsense.
Than thing is, without Jimi there would never be a Randy sooo.. plus, Randy copies Jimi so the appreciation is there but the shock and awe of the greatness of Jimi is unforgettable. Randy is amazing tho!
Imagine if JIMI had tuned this one to D just like he did on VOODOO CHILE (BLUES) he would have been classified as a HEAVY METAL GUITARIST easily because this song is heavy as hell!!
Randy Hansen: nobody does a impersonation of Jimmy Hendrix like Randy. Randy is really Jimmy, Jimmy did lots of drugs and needed some cosmetic surgery, hence the Jimmy Hendrix Experience 🙃🙃
