A tip for using tank legs, equip heavy duty generator/radiator parts. Use OB (overboost) to maneuver during fights. Also, you can equip a second chain gun, but you’ll need to buy a second one in the store.

hell yea! silent line is BACK, not gonna lie carrying your safe over with OP-i or starting fresh gives silent line such a different vibe. i will say tho grinding for Op-i was 100% worth it. it makes building alot more forgivable and in my opinion alows for a more fun playstyle. also you can have 2 chainguns on the back. but you need to buy 2. you only had 1 at the time.

Ah yes tanks, my specialty. First off, you could equip two gatling guns if you wanted to you just only owned one. With tanks while you cant boost on the ground you often will move faster by bunny hopping than you do just driving around, though in some games with some legs this isnt the case. You also usually want to equip an OB core in early third gen so that you can keep a middle distance against aggressive enemies. Grenade shoulder weapons are a fan favorite and will demolish enemy ACs, but the ammo costs are exorbitant. Still worth it though, especially if you combine it with a powerful left hand weapon to just demolish enemies in seconds. My typical build is a shoulder grenade launcher, a shoulder gatling gun, a left hand bazooka, and a right hand sniper. This gives you a nice mix of weapons that can take on all comers, using the bazooka to kill most mission enemies and it combined with the grenades to take out most enemy ACs. You can use the gatling gun to take out faster ACs or weaker MTs, and the Sniper is mostly to land finishing blows on high mobility enemies. If available I like to use a laser sniper specifically because it tags better and you can use it to keep ammo prices down in missions. Really though your right hand weapon is more of your holdout weapon, a machinegun is just as viable here as a mission workhorse. For extensions get yourself the anti missile systems with the best ammo to MG response time ratio. Credentials: Ive beaten every AC game with exclusively tanks. Even Zinaida.
cheese strat for Porcupine and Eclair: dual flamers and legs with high stability (quads are the best option) then pick the battle Arena. Back up into the entry gate (boost directly backward until you stop) then attack with both flamers at once. You'll win in less than 30sec
If you want to use chain gun and move around equip op intensify and get the unlock from armored core 3. You have to do the mission destroy massive mt and destroy its smaller part along with the main part in the mission to unlock jumping around and shooting chain guns. Also remember to have op intensify equipped while doing this otherwise you will not unlock the ability. Then just transfer that save to silent line and you have the ability there also
I still have intentions of making a how to unlock op intensify video where i go through all the requirements for the first time and get it, but i still havent found the time to get to it xb

But i cant understand how anyone even played this without using my control scheme (but you are doing well now, esp with blade) Forward=square Backward=circle Boost=X Change wep=triangle Look up down left right=left stick.... like why wouldnt you? In some of the games you you get perks from going into debt. It’s called human plus. Less energy use, more radar and ya don’t need to kneel. Also. Grenade launchers. Use em.
@@ruikiri if you do try grenades make sure to not be on the ground when ya fire. That way you will at least hit the ground near your target and give them massive splash damage.
And as well as buying two shoulder gats im pretty sure there is a double chaingun, oh yeah that guy that you magically somehow killed on 700 health has the double chain shoulder gats and two blades. Pretty sure others in the comments have explained how to do it/get it. Make more AC vids bro, i love the games but its so much better with you blowing out at everything XD
