Indeed, a very very good and kind man who firmly believed in helping those less fortunate - children and the elderly. I have taken my 4 sons to Nemours Hospital or Nemours doctor’s offices since birth to young adulthood. Superiors doctors , staffing and services. I would highly recommend Nemours above all other hospitals. As for Nemours mansion and gardens, it’s truly one of the most beautiful places on the planet. ❤ My hat off to Alfred I. duPont
After visiting Nemours, we wanted to visit Hagley Museum to see where the basis of all things DuPont -- black powder -- was made. We were extremely disappointed to find that small minds and cold hearts have expunged every mention of Alfred I. du Pont, the man who did so much to grow the black powder business for the family he loved. I guess this proves the old adage that "the winners get to write the history," but Alfred I. du Pont will always be the best thing that family ever produced in our opinion. This short video recognizes Mr. Alfred I. DuPont's greatness! Thank you for posting it!
Soy MEXICANA Y AGRADESCO A EL CREADOR POR ESTE SR QUE CREO EL HOSPITAL PARA QUE PUDIERAN ATENDER. A MI HIJO EN ESTE HOSPITAL LLENO DE SERES ESTUPENDOS GRACIAS AL NEUROCIRUJANO DR CAMBO
One thing didn’t make sense: after his ouster from Du Pont & his export business failing he was “nearly broke”. Yet he kept Nemours & built a mansion in Florida, investing heavily in Florida real estate. Define “nearly broke”.
According to his biography he still owned 25% of Dupont; but after Pierre bought out Coleman Dupont's share, he (Pierre) had full control of the company. Not too shabby. He then went on to create the St Joe Paper Company (largest real estate owner in Florida after buying out Henry Flagler's FL East Coast Railroad).

Insane that they managed to make that In less than 20 months. Actually mind blowing

Very interesting and respectful, I really enjoyed this video .
Glad you enjoyed it!
Where can I listen to some of Mr. du Pont’s compositions? Does anyone perform them anymore?

Nice
@Noah Jeffrey, that’s not nice. I don’t think Alfred I. du Pont would be okay with that, if he knew what you were doing.
Volume full blast can't hear anything
Is the narrator Blair Brown?
