I've got the same rubber grips on my Ruger Redhawk .44 mag. It came with wood grips. Switched 'em out for the Hogue grips. Made it much better to hold onto and to shoot. Love my 2021 Anaconda and I love it even more for the $1,499 price tag it wore. Okay Colt, if you want another $15 hundred bucks from me, start producing the snakes in that beautiful polished royal blue finish, and I'm there with credit cards in both hands, ready to fire like Colt .45s!
ok. easily replaced by loosening the ''grub screw''!, now, try to loosen the grub screw. My gun came with a very loose front sight, trying to tight up the set screw, with a very tiny allen key I was very worried that the head of the set screw would ''round out'' rendering it nearly impossible to remove. At the end, I had to use an electrical heat gun and some w40 to get it going. Finally it gave in and I managed to tight down the sight. Have only shot it a few hundred rounds, but very happy so fare, and I should be, it is the most expensive revolver I have.
2020 has killed my gun haggling skills. I have no clue what guns are worth anymore and have a huge problem paying these inflated prices. Probably haven't bought a gun in 2 years
It's definitely a seller's market right now. But things always come in cycles. It'll be a buyer's market again someday, and you'll get your gun haggling groove right back.
I’ve watched and read thousands of videos and articles on this gun. I tried to dislike it. Went to Academy sports and saw it in the glass case. I knew if I held it I would hate it. So I got this New gun now 😅 Also Jill Valentine 😍🥰
@@MysteryWheelgunner and they charge ridicules prices for a brick of 1000, i used to complain when they were in the mid 30's. Now i have to fork out over 100 or more if i find them. Went to Cabela's, a guy there bragged he had 470 000 primers at home.
It's not a bad price considering that the demand is still crazy high and Colt still can't seem to keep up. Just be sure to look it over real well. Make sure the finish is good and polished with no nicks or blemishes. Check the crown. Make sure the rear sight assembly is tight. There shouldn't be any bit of slack or wobble.
@@MysteryWheelgunner definitely will do, how do you like the recoil on it? I’m by no means a wimp, I have a desert eagle In 44 magnum and I can shoot it all day long, but I know the gas operated behemoth aids more than a good wheel Gun.
@@ernestocuello2709 . If you can handle the DE in 44 magnum, the Anaconda shouldn't be too much of a problem for you. It's a fairly heavy gun with that full underlug. That soaks up some of the recoil.
The cylinder crash is more prominent on the Colts due the overly ridiculously deep cylinder notches. Grab a current production Smith and the Colt snake guns have nothing on them in single action. Those cheap rubber grips are houge grips and are horrible. Colts answer to keep cost down. By a set of Colt factory walnut 2020 Python grips for 68USD. They look stunning on the Anaconda, especially next to the new Python. Go shoot the snot out of it, they are great revolvers.
Hey where's the trigger lock? Oh that's right, Colt hasn't given into the anti-gun people yet.
The new Wilson Combat rear sights for the Python and Anaconda are much better than the factory.

The orange disc is like the chamber flag. Shows the cylinder is clear.

Yeah. We're still in the ammo crunch. Even reloading supplies (primers) are hard to find.
