That Live 2 is saucy!! I need to learn how to set templates in my MPC; it's time consuming to keep loading drum kits & plugin presets every time I create a new track. Does anybody care to assist me? I can't find any videos on YT to show me. Oh yeah, hopefully we'll see yall next week for a beat review 💪
I usually start a project load your kits label everything etc. and just save the project as template when u load that project up labeled as template make any changes to it then hit Save but do it as Project As which will allow u to rename just rinse and repeat bye always loading the project that you labeled and created as template but always remember after you make changes to re-save as Project as then obviously pick your save destination Hope this Helps 4 now

Is the akai mini plus good to pair up with the mpc live 2 ? I need keys and i don’t know what keys to pair with the mpc live 2 . I like my things to be paired up by the same brand since I feel it makes more sense Example akai mpc with akai keys I know everyone has a different setup but I just need advice . Any mpk mini would do good with the live 2?

BOLOOOOOOO! killin' it again man. I'm still so torn between the LIVE 2 and the One+. It's been weeks and weeks of youtube videos and articles! seeing you use the LIVE 2 has me leaning that way though.
Only cons on the MPC one+ is that it doesn’t have its own battery or speakers, that’s why I grabbed the MPC live 2 and I’ve COMPLETELY happy with my decision
I have had the One (Not +) and I always wish I got the Live. I prefer the layout and extra buttons but because it needs to be plugged in the whole time I feel like I have to sit with it on my desk, I then get distracted by my DAW on the computer and end up in logic distracted away from my mpc. If it was portable I’d vibe much more in standalone.
The beat is definitely good, but personally, I would've brought the bass in 1st (on the 1st half of the hook), and then the 808. Either way, the beat is still 🔥

There’s a few reasons. Mostly for drums and percussion programming. It’s easier to program drums at faster speeds without errors with the double time on the bpm. Remember by doubling the speed you’re moving through 4 bars at the pace you’d move through 2 bars at the previous speed. This allows him to hear a click from the metronome on the eighth notes of the original bpm. Lots of trap beats are made like this for the fast snare rolls and fills and the double timing on the high hats. This was not a dumb question either fam.
