    ERROR CORRECTION: Thanks to some of our viewers, we were informed that Cockburn Street is pronounced as "Coburn". We apologize for our mistake.

    Great video! I'm going for the fourth time in October, and there are recommendations here that I'll use, so thank you. A couple small things - Cockburn Street is pronounced Koh-burn, and your arrow pointing to Arthur's Seat was actually pointing to the Salisbury Crags, which lie beneath Arthur's Seat. The Crags are impressive, in and of themselves, though, and are worth the effort to get to them. I hope you get to go back!

      @richardsteer3760 Hi Richard! Thanks so much for getting in touch! And thank you as well for pointing out those errors. I’ll see if there is a way I can edit the video. If not, I’ll post a correction comment on here. Yes, I look forward to going back to Edinburgh 🙂. Probably when Adrian and I move back to the UK. Thank you again and have a safe and wonderful trip to Edinburgh!

    Hi! Is visiting Edinburgh in mid November a good idea or not? We will only be able to get away then.... Where would be a good hotel to stay for first timers to Edinburgh?

    • @worthytravels
      @worthytravels  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @peggytan4610 Edinburgh in November is a great time to visit, as long as you don't mind the cold weather and the chances of rain. It's a slow time of the year for tourism so it tends to be cheaper and there won't be any crowds. I highly recommend staying at the Radisson Blu on the Royal Mile. It's very central and you can walk everywhere within Old Town and New Town from here.

      Is December good to visit Scotland

    • @BurmaEK
      @BurmaEK วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@sairamissy Yes December is fine and less busy but weather wise it could be clear and crisp or snow(less likely) but probably rain. Also, by mid December, daylight is down to about 6/7 hours per day. Having said that, the city still has all the attractions and seeing Scotland and the city in winter and at night, adds to the sense of history.

      @denisesneeringer9109 HI there! I highly recommend staying at the Radisson Blu Edinburgh City Centre. It's where we stayed and it was perfect for us due to its location. It's right in the center of the Royal Mile and we walked everywhere (apart from our trip to Leith to see the Britannia). It's also one of the very few places in the city centre with parking. I hope this helps!
