Thank you for watching!! This was a test animation to see how everyone reacts to my current skillset, Episode 1 & 2 are on the way!! yES yES!

Everyone who will see this before it premieres, it was a long journey to come to this moment, trying to learn 3D was a lot of pain but also very fun, and it took some damn time.., also, even tho this animation was a small and DIRTY side project I did while I was working on my MAIN series, which is also in the final stages of editing, episode 1 and 2 will come very fast after this preview/test animation i did. In between them I also have few more side projects i did in the meantime to keep my sanity.
What I am trying to say, my god.. its been dry for 2 years, but now the flood gates are opening, and Emperor help us all

@@SkylordLuke i know about his channel :) i have been fallowing 40k animation since the days of "newgrounds" and the flash animations.
You guys are super impressive, i couldn't do a powerpoint so you can imagine how bad i would be at animating XD
@@bliblivion yeah, its really hard, especially when you have to do all by yourself, whole studio full of people who specialize on specific area work on stuff like this.
Learning dozens of programs, getting good at them, and THEN actually having to make something, was exhausting hahahah.
But yeah, Gabriel is the one who needs spotlight now, he worked like a maniac on his animation. and Legio Symphonica is a legend with his soundtracks, that alone will be worth the wait
GW is still wanting that damn amazon deal. If amazon thinks that it will hurt their chances at more amazon + subscription they will come after everyone
@@themalcontent100 Even amazon cant take us all. They fight for money, but we create out of passion. We have the higher morale, greater numbers, and can operate quietly in the background. Trying to stop fan animations is going to be their vietnam.

The animation style reminds me of a kids cartoon or like those historical animations about WW2. They just look so stubby in a way, but it looks goooood
I am trying to get myself a motion capture suit, or rig myself a homemade one, its so hard to animate movement that feels natural

Im just sad I didnt put them closer a lot, I worked a lot on Astartes models to make them look great, im quite proud of them :D
But thankfully episode 1 features them VERY upclose

I fell in love the moment i saw a "Firstborn" Devastator with heavy bolter, WW1 vibes and gritty ,This is awesome, I love it.

not bad ,the walking is semi goofy though and can use alot of work , but best thing to me is the teminator having extra weapon mounted on him looking really badass

Moral of the story: don't a selfie livestream when in combat. Also, don't put a storm bolter on a terminator who is using an assualt cannon.
He was having too much fun with the assault cannon, no need to waste storm bolter yet
It's cool that your space marines look like walking GW miniature's....that and the old Dial channel selector on the monitors were a nice touch.

Super atmospheric - your shot composition and selection are immaculate! All those quick shots of the servitors and the statues, it just *feels* quintessential 40K. You’ve nailed the aesthetic so well and I think the B&W helps with that, super striking. Love how weighty the Marines feel too, these walking tanks that tower over everything around them and every step takes enormous willpower. Can’t wait to see where this goes, keep it up!

Absolutely love the warp transition. The tattered look is pretty creepy. I always had a vision of shattering glass, but the ripped sky is awesome. Looking forward to more. Remember to keep your cuts fairly short. There was a lot of secondary action going on in the background. Move some cameras around to capture some of the work youve already done. I hope you get to advance your passions in film making.

The beauty of 40k is that you don’t need face rigging and there are a lot of references. And nice particle effects, very nice and simple. Fantastic rigging. Nice clean weight painting.

The animation, the light, the sound, the textures, all are superb. But the models are just...goofy. I don't know how to explain it better.
really? I got nothing but praise mostly for them being very good, also they are first born Astartes, not primaris, so we love them wide and bulky

The only thing that felt off was the hunchback making the head look more to the ground and the not looking when/where he’s firing. The first gripe is probably just biased from space hulk deathwing game. On another note for a neophyte of the craft this is solid work and I hope you can stay off gw’s radar. Subbed to keep track of this project of yours, nothing but success for you.

This was an awesome animation, but for the critique:
In the beginning with the walking of the astartes, they all swayed left and right too much. Try to take notes from the astartes project by Syama Pederson when observing the walking animation. He nailed it (He nailed everything tbh). The Terminators left arm was way too stiff. The Mk.6 Corvus Corax helmet looks like someone punch the top of the helmet with a hammer. (too stubby). During the walking scene the terminator could be firing his assault cannon in more randomized time frames rather than a 5 second firing, 2 second break, 5 second firing again, 5 second break, repeat. Way too robotic and repetitive that it doesnt feel like he is actually firing at anything. Also the assault cannon could have been spinning way faster. His stormbolter hasnt fired either, I would imagine that was held just incase someone got too close to him. Didnt get to see it used. Then finally while I know terminators are arched over, this one was way too arched over.
It may sound like alot but that is my personal critique, all out of good faith.
Otherwise the running in the background was great, music is great, the sound effects great, and models are mostly great except for what I mentioned.
My favorite part was the beginning with the ships exiting the warp. Fantastic work.
Thats all my critique. The animation was awesome and I am so glad to see another astartes animation, hoping to see more. Earned yourself a sub. Keep up the great work!

Critical opinion. The first part is alright. The animation around 1:25 feels like stop-motion skeleton. The walking termi around 2:30 is almost boring, like it’s stuck on a loop for 2 minutes. Need more readable and varied bakground stuff to look at. The last part makes me want to watch the next episode. A good watch anyway, i give the "bad" as you asked for it.
Funny thing is this was supposed to be 1 hour long loop of just terminator walking only for the background, just because I liked the music so much after I discovered it few weeks ago xD
and in the end I added to much, that in the end it raised expectations to much yeah, but I agree with all critiques!! Thank you, it motivates me to fix those because some things i dont even notice after working a long time on something, and I am glad you like the preview of the actual episode :D

also, legit feel free to tell me everything you don't like, I really wanna eliminate as many potential faults as possible, but also keep in mind I am just an amateur doing this xD

I have no clue where this is going, so I will limit my critique to something lore wise, Imperial Space Marines dont take chaos armour as trophies and put them on display. Its tainted! Its heresy! Otherwise, GL&HF and I wish you success.

give me all the critique, its too late for episode 1 and 2 since they are done, but for all others that I am still in process, it would help knowing what can be even more improved
@SkylordLuke if you want critique here is mine. I put the video on 1,5x speed and it made the animation much more powerful. The terminator felt still heavy but is more scary now.
You are great at doing music, sounds special effects, they are impressive and not cheaply made so I wouldn't focus on that department, focus on fight choreography maybe, movement
@@malcadorgaming9318 ok that is encouraging to hear then, Hope you will like the episode 1 fight scenes, there is a LOT of choreography and movement, I will consider speeding it up to see if it the same principle works there too

3:24 that Heavy Bolter sounds really appropriate! Lovely! Where'd you get the sound?
That specific one was custom mixed, muted bass sound is from several bolter sounds from space marine game, and the boom was a normal machine gun sound just heavily boosted and edited, took me a bit to get it right

Imperial Phoenix Chapter, Raven Guard successors
So the Borderlands movie isn't how to shoot action. A looped Terminator after a wonderfully done hero walk was very disappointing. Who were they fighting? Why? How come he had a Storm Bolter and an assault cannon? The left arm of the Terminator needs work. It was like his arm was broken and he couldn't figure out why.
yeah, this was a side project I did part time over the last few weeks as I was working on main episodes, wanted to release something quick and simple, but maybe it was too simple :pp
I will make sure to fix all my mistakes for next time tho, part of the reason i released this short one, to see what needs immendiate attention, so hit me as hard as you can, give me all the critique
