- I was very kindly Invited down south by Dustin from Bushcraft Tools to spend a few days camping with him and a few other legends down at his bushcraft camp and also a beach catch and cook camp!!
His camp is absolutely amazing and the shelters he's built are incredible.
I had a great time there and the beach camp was also amazing!
I stayed in the roundhouse at the first camp and had the fire on in there so it was really toasty!
At the beach i didn't bother taking a tarp or tent as i wanted to sleep under the stars in the bivvy bag so i could wake up to the sunrise and the waves lapping the shore.
We managed to catch a lobster and some shrimp for dinner at the beach which was very tasty!
it was great to meet other like minded people in the community and it was awesome to meet you all!!

Awesome video Craig👍👍 As you said, what a place to wake up. The night cookout brought back good memories of 50 years ago when I was a young sailor.
Between deployments me and some mates from my division would go to nearby Virginia Beach Virginia. We would camp and do the "catch and cook" thing. The beach was sand. So we would dig a pit in the sand for a driftwood fire. Then cook whatever we caught that day. Plenty of shrimp in the sound on the drive to the beach. I had an 8 foot "cast net" to throw for shrimp. Depending on time of year there was also great surf fishing for sea trout, bluefish, flounder, red drum, etc. Sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean was spectacular. That was assuming we'd be awake to see it after a night of MANY beers! Our beer back then sucked compared to the excellent brews I drank back in '97 when I was last in the UK.
I follow another bushcrafter in the UK. He's a former British Royal Marine who did 6 combat tours in Afghanistan. His channel, while quite different than yours, is all about veterans getting outdoors to improve mental health. Seems like a great guy. His last video brought tears to my eyes. Difficult to watch for a non combat vet like me. I often sit back an chill into your vids and enjoy them. Your one of only two wild camp/bushcraft channels i sub to now.
knowing the issues of mental health, the loneliness together with not caring for yourself you should consider a companion, mans best friend will make you smile, laugh,care and love. A nice little terrier or whatever will give you so much joy infront and behind the camera. You may feel your not in the mindset to look after one but hell it'll look after you mate. Good luck

My brother go's to the Jrassic Coast looking for fossils he got a great collection of fossils he and some other people helped find a new dinosaur it was only a small one it's now in a museum i have always wanted to do that but didn't have the to go there.

Fantastic video, one of your best yet, nothing negative about any of your other ones, I guess the different locations added that bit extra to it, the beach looked beautiful, the colour of the stones, had to laugh at the Irish sausages, from Ireland myself , ironically the best sausages I ever had bar none was in Norwich , on a visit there a couple of years ago, but this is not about me and food, great video, credit to you and all the crew.
