My old german shepard used to do this all the time when she was done with her bowl!! She would pick it up and run around with it... Never knew why but i hope shes having fun with her bowls on the other side of the rainbow bridge

@@amug3536 she lived a long, happy life, raised two kittens, and got to see many places and play on many beaches (her favorite). She was 15 and was healthy until she died in the morning, surrounded by all of her family. It was painful but i knew we gave her the happiest life we could. Make sure to cherish your pup, i hope for many more wonderful years for yall!
After owning many GSD's, I can confirm that this is 100% TRUE! They are such kooky puppies and test their owner's patience daily. It's as if being able to tolerate their nuttiness when they are puppies is rewarded when they are adults. They are awesome dogs; incredibly loyal and sweet. Only breed I will ever have.

My German is 1 and still does this. He never has water and my neighbors always complain he’s thirsty if they only knew I try to give him water all day 😂
maybe something very heavy in it or a strong adhesive like cement if outdoors to keep the bowl down?
@@gheewhiz yes we are currently working on a heavy bowl (cement bottom stainless bowl) he can’t tip over with a filter in it because I think he likes the “fresh water “ and knows I will refill it once it’s gone. Hopefully that will help 😂 he’s pretty smart so we will see how long it lasts

That’s not necessarily true my GSD does this and his water bowl is white

GS are the sweetest puppy's i had two other breeds fom puppy until death ( mailinois and Frenchie) but GS puppys are the cutest and funniest i got mine when i was 11 long time ago and he was best buddy for his entire life 😊
Holy Fck 90 pounds at a year?! Mine is 12 weeks and she’s 30 lbs. I thought she was over size for her age but the vet said she’s right on track 😂 🤦🏿♂️ and she’s a girl!

Oh my goodness! My Benny did this when he was a wee pup! He never did grow out of it; but, that's OK. He also loved playing in the water hose which made gardening extra fun 🤗

My mother has a Malamute pup, that I call my fluffy baby brother. He’s spoiled because when he does this it has to be a certain temperature, my mother also spent thousands on things for him and vet bills. I’m not complaining though, he’s super cute and very clumsy. He’s funny to watch as explore things, he’s not used to.
My neighbours Collie likes to stand in hers. Two front feet and staring at you like she did a great job.

I love German Shepherds!!!! Seriously anyone whos never had one needs to get one sometime in their life!! Youll never meet such a loyal, smart, & loving dog breed than the GSD!
Mine did the same thing. No matter how big or small the bowl was he was emptying it or dumping it and running away with the bowl. I had to get a big automatic water feeder so he would leave it alone.
Mine does this with his food bowl. He eats about half of his food so that when he picks up the bowl it won’t spill. And then he carries the bowl onto my bed, and finishes his dinner lying down.

I got a large porcelin bowl to stop my Helga from doing that sort of thing. Instead I would find toys floting in the bowl or Helga standing up to her elbows in the bowl.

Think I've got a particularly well-mannered one right now, she's never carried it off after drilling for water.
They have bowls that are designed to help prevent them from doing that. My dog never spilled her water though. She does drop food out of her mouth while running over to make sure that no one has murdered us while she was taking a bite.
When my Akita shepherd was a puppy she would scratch the inside of her bowl when she’d finished all the water from her bowl, pick it up, seeing there wasn’t an endless supply of water coming up from under her bowl shed start scratching the base to encourage more water to appear, as if by magic.
They are just the cutest, watching them figuring out life on a daily basis-if things keep progressing at such a pace, she’ll be bringing my water bowl to me!

Okay so weird question is there some reason you actually left part of the sticker inside of your dog's water bowl? There are two relatively easy ways to get that stuff off of the dog bowl itself. One-way is using a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive that is on the sticker. And the other way is just simply warm water and a little bit of elbow grease and scrubbing. There's also a spray that you can spray in the bowl I think it's junk be gone or something like that. And it'll take off actual adhesive and remove it and then you can have a clean bowl for your dog and there wouldn't be any sticker residue inside the bowl either

Come on people stop giving Kandi a hard time. Idk about you guys but I remove stickers on all my dog’s water and food bowls. I just peel it with my hand slowly and everything comes together and no residue left on bowl. I do it because I like to see it clean, I try to clean them everyday especially the water bowl, the food bowl sometimes on the second day. But that’s just me

Get him some toys, he's having to make toys from the few things you let him have. Make them all soft rubber so he learns it's the soft rubber things he can mess with. My shep had a 10+ toy basket and he would take each one out everyday and give it 5 min attention before leaving all his toys all over the house....

Some baking soda mixed with oil and dish soap to make a paste will do it in a safe way. Then you can just wash it normally to get the oil and baking soda out.

Well of course!! That’s why they have us to fetch them as many bowls of fresh clean water they need. Toys and bowls are very similar when you are so darn fluffy and cute💕🐾
