The hotel room is insane!! Besides the view and how spacious the room is, they have literally EVERYTHING for you ready to move in and live there wowww 😳😳 like all kitchen utensils and the seasonings in the drawer already surprised me then they have cling film and dish washing soap and sponge and many more! Considering this is a boutique not Airbnb apartment. Awesome!! 👏👏 The sunset from the balcony is lovely. Love your videos and the vibes as always ❣️
Very nice area! I like those little local shops that focus on local food. Yes, I would always pick up at least one local craft beer. Did you know that the American Beer "Budweiser" contains a good amount of rice? When I travel I save a lot of money on food when I cook it myself. Especially a few times when I have caught my own fish.👍
What a beautiful boutique hotel! The price must be insane as well! 😂 I’m so impressed with Satoshi’s culinary skills. Loved to hear the chopping sounds. I feel the joy of the both of you while staying at this hotel. Really happy for both of you and thankful for the experience that you are sharing with us. 😊
Oh my gosh! Everything from start-to-finish on this video was very peaceful. Typically, when one is on a road trip, it can be very stressful and feel very rushed, because you want to see and fit everything in. If you were both feeling rushed or stressed, it definitely did not come across like that on this video. It was very zen like and very beautiful. Your room was stunning! Absolutely stunning!! Of course, I love ALL of your travel series videos, but this one was exciting, because not only did we get Shinichi’s World, but we got KantanFood by Satoshi as well. I always love watching brother Satoshi create delicious recipes. I never thought to put shiso inside of gyoza filling…..such simple fresh ingredients. Everything about the dinner looked absolutely amazing. I’m a huge fan of okowa, no matter what flavor, but that Daisen okowa, OMGEEE! Hontoni oishisou! Thank you both for ALL of your hard work, and taking us on your many adventures, showing us the beauty of Japan, and allowing us to be a part of you creating beautiful memories! Love you both so much!
From Malaysia here! Always enjoyed your trip and beautiful narration along with it! I do visit Jpn very often and can identify with your walkabouts and visits as tourists, thank you for making Jpn alive for me!
Hi, I'm a Tabi Eats stan. I'm loving the pace of your road trip, local shopping and cooking your meals. The gratitude for that sunset was the cherry on top.
Hello to both of you, from Hayward, California USA. Right after college, I started working in Japan with my band. We had bookings from Kyushu, Saitama, Tokyo and Niigata. However because of time constraints, we were not able to travel as much as we would have wanted. Our contracts were 6 months each time, exit to go back to home base and come back after 6 months. So I can not tell you in words how much I appreciate your travel vlog to different parts of Japan....specially your segment about Niigata. Of all the places I had been to - in Japan for the period of 7.5 years, for me Niigata is the best! I love Niigata so much that I wanted to live there. However my family is in the States... so I had to go home. Thank you very much for giving me back the memories and the things and places I missed to see and would have seen when I lived there 😢. I know I missed so much. To me Japan ..., is the most memorable and happiest times of my then, young life. I hope that you won’t stop doing this. I love your channel and want to let you know that I am such a big fan. More power to both of you and have a safe travel at all times. Again, thank you so much.❤❤❤
I love the many, many views of Japan that you share with all of us. Having health issues, I know that I will never make it to Japan and your videos allow me to see and learn so much about your marvelous country. Also, I had a Bokksu shipment lost in customs, and they sent an extra box as compensation. Their customer service is excellent! Do let people know this. It makes such a difference when dealing with online companies!
Oh my goodness I see why you guys chose this beautiful hotel to stay in it is amazing have a wonderful time there will I hope you had a wonderful time there but this is really beautiful thank you for sharing
Shinichi i love all these local Japan videos! They give an insight to towns that i would never think of visiting. That sunset was beautiful. If u encounter another one, may I suggest you give us some time to admire it (without any need to speak or explain...). That would be awesome! Sometimes i feel that u think u always need to say something... but u actually dont need to, at certain times!
Awesome dinner. Maybe a little more oil in the pan next time. 😋 The sunset was epic. So nice to take the time to appreciate your surroundings. And I totally agree with you that the stay was too short.
This video series is so nice! I’m really enjoying seeing Japan with you two and getting ideas for my trip next year. Thank you for sharing your awesome journey 😊👍🏼💖
Was so excited to see more vids from Daisen because I loved when you stayed there in the snow and had the chef cook that amazing dinner for you in that gorgeous room!
I have a question. Do you know where Katuyama, Fukui, Japan is? I had a pen pal there back in the 1950's and I have been thinking about him and if he is still alive. His name is Seize Yamakawa....I have the address he lived at back then.

I would be so happy to have a piano or any instrument in a hotel room.
Sinichi plays the piano in C Major key and Satoshi in all the whatever key he wants coz after that awesome gyōza 🥟 He has the right to do it 😑 ✨️
It was so sweet watching you cooking together.
