- Todd Hoffman on GOLD RUSH always said "More Equipment, equals MORE GOLD! Since Canada finally got season 2 of GOLD RUSH.. I am following every word to the letter. Enter in our new Trommel Trailer .. I am calling "PAY DAY". This mobile plant will allow us to screen new material off site.. but also give us a new level of efficiency on the mine site,
For those of you who don't know...
#youtubegold is a 100% Canadian #parody of the popular Gold Shows we see on TV such as #goldrush, yukon gold and others.. Yes, we are mining real gold.. and yes, we are full grown men using tiny machines to mine the gold. We are currently in the Second Season, and this is episode 18.
There is irony in all of what you see..is most of this show is all choreographed. THiS IS THE INTERNET.. Do not believe everything you see..! haha..
Almost all scenarios are staged, acting out our characters, comedy.. etc.. In fact, we are not even working for efficiency, as we are a group of hobbyists who are more interested in entertaining our audience.. than "actually getting gold". Being an RC show, we use as many RC's as possible to achieve this. Again, all we are doing is goofing off for a good Saturday of fun.
A few of the things that are not staged is our friendship, the laughter, camaraderie, THE WEATHER - and of course.. THE GOLD! (Yes, it's real pay dirt). The true Gold is the experience we get as friends, what we hope the viewers get watching a group of goofballs entertain them with some very cool toys. One mans hobby, is another's entertainment on TH-cam!

Great show. Thanks for producing this for us. Now im waiting for my excavator, dozer, dump truck, and crane to arrive.. though the ones i ordered are toys not real machines like yours, i expect to have a lot of fun playing in the dirt of the Nevada desert.. we dont have gold where i am, but we have many different artifacts from when the native Americans ruled this area. Again thank you all for the show

Man I would watch TH-camGOLD all day long, really a fun show to watch. This was definitely one of the best clean out ever, if not the best one, not counting the double one last episode. The new trailer is great.

@@beavis5250 i dont personal know where they get pay for TH-cam gold but most likely out a local creek bed that runs close to bed rock. Pay a mostly found in the last 10 to 15 feet above bed rock. Also did you know the method used to get gold out of dirt or lose soil is called Placer mining.

Thats a sweet new piece of equip yall got there. With that new setup, u could repostion just a bit n the volvo could back up n dump straight into the hopper. Have one belt runnin the shaker plant like it is now, n add another conveyor over to the loader pay pile. Then rookie could keep the big trommel loaded feedin the dump trucks, the trucks keep the new trommel trailer loaded n the loader pile as well. Yall could run alot more pay in less time that way. Dump a whole truck load in the new hopper vs bucket by bucket. Wen everybody is there, yall would have 2 dozers rippin, a excavator loadin the big trommel belt, 2 trucks movin pay n a loader man. The way clean up has been goin lately is awesome, but could u imagine double that in one clean up every time? Lol Keep up the great work guys! Love this channel!!!!

This helped me more than I expected. I thought I was just goofing off watching this. Resting my brain. But it actually turned out to be a good excersize.
It reminded me of when I was a kid I used to ride a 100cc dirt bike. At one point I moved up to a 500. After riding the 500 for a while I found myself riding the 100 again one day. Can't member why now but I remember it felt like riding a tricycle compared to the 500.
When I was even younger I remember pretending and wishing I was actually driving a real car or truck when I was playing with my toy cars. Then when I grew up I got to live out that dream.
There are a lot of challenged in my life and they seem bigger than life. Much bigger than me. But now after watching this I feel like I can face those real challenges much more easily by pretending I'm just playing with toys.

Medic, you are getting really good with the camera shots.. I love the view of the loader with the two rocks and also the close up of the excavator bucket in action.
