Yundi is the most talented classical pianist I ever heard! He interprets every piece in his own unique and beautiful way. Every note is treated in a special way. What a talent in today's generation! I hope to have the priviledge to assist to one of his concert one day when he comes close to my home town.
the composer is Tianhe Chen (1911~1955), a famous Chinese composer, the name of this piece is " in the In a faraway fairyland",origin from northwest China folk songs.
Beautiful! I read in a recent interview that Yundi acually improvised the first song so that it is more of a concert piano peice. He plans to re arrange himself some of the chinese pieces he will include in his new recording of chinese classical music. I am really looking forward to the release of Yundi's Red Piano. Very thoughtful turn in career direction. He's giving more Master cCasses too!!! Interesting to see his career in the next 2 years!!

No, I wish and I haven't had much luck using english to find those pieces. I think if you can find it in Chinese you would have better luck. I don't know how to read, let alone write or type in Chinese, so it's going to be tough for me. Good luck finding them though, these are very beautiful pieces.

Yundi is so talented. 👍👍👍👍

China is the only place where you can hear all kinds of noises from the audiences as the pianist stepping on the stage.
