I have been playing for over twenty years and it amazes me every time i hear yundi li's -this- rendition of La Campanella. just amazing. And it's equally amazing that people point out his very few and hardly noticeable mistakes. As if u people that chime in about his "mistakes" could even remotely pull off this piece. Your 7,8, and nine would get hurt
Even better than Evgeny Kissin's version at Royal Albert Hall. For so many years I thought Kissin's was better. I relistened to this and realized that this is on another level!

Yundi’s La Campanella is the best for me though I do not know much about playing skills and technique. I like this one for its tenderness and sentimentality rather than its virtuosity. Yundi’s playing is always mild and touching. He played this piece when he was very young, but not inferior to his current performance. He is always the best.
I really love this version that Yundi Li carried out. I feel that he hasn't been given enough attention in the classical world in recent years in comparison to his peers. Not sure why. Very underrated....
Axel Bak I think he means that your statement that Yundi Li's interpretation is how Liszt wanted it to be played is a bold statement. He was being sarcastic saying that you probably were best buds with Liszt (which is funny because he's been dead for more than 100 years), and that's why you must know how Liszt wanted this to be played.
calmario117 Even though he said it to somebody with the surname Bak? You should probably be more careful not to embarrass yourself with outbursts like that...
I have never understood how impossible this piece is until now. This is the best performance of it I've ever seen and good lord... this guy is good. I literally just imagine carpal tunnel and the pain of all these trills and jumps :P
I was preparing my final exam, and I found this masterpiece. It cut my thoughts off. I heard his name 12 years ago (in my English textbook, describing he won the Chopin Piano Competition), but I didn't take him seriously because I did not know what the competition is. Now I am looking back, I wish I had heard his music earlier. What a performance! Wish I can do well in my final. :)

I've watched this interpretation countless times
The best performance ever!!!! Well done Yundi Li :)
Even better than Evgeny Kissin's version at Royal Albert Hall. For so many years I thought Kissin's was better. I relistened to this and realized that this is on another level!
Shivam Shah kissin’s version is more powerful. It truly depends on the way it’s been performed.
You're a bad Jew
Infinitely better than any mentioned above...

@@g.l.7151 You're funny.
Pianista magico . Tecnica , tocco , musicalità , sonorità , colori ... tutto a livelli sommi.
Best version to this day.
I learned for the Piano for 7 years starting at 12. This guy, simply put, is amazing! He can make me cry with this beautiful piece.
That description is useful! Li Yundi is actually playing the piano while other performers are not!
I really love this version that Yundi Li carried out. I feel that he hasn't been given enough attention in the classical world in recent years in comparison to his peers. Not sure why. Very underrated....
BY FAR THE BEST ONE
Axel Bak I bet hes like your best bro. Bold statement.
China Fun Nah, he's being racist as he thinks that someone whose surname is Lu would be 'best buds' with another Asian - Yundi Li. Fucking despicable
calmario117 Even though he said it to somebody with the surname Bak? You should probably be more careful not to embarrass yourself with outbursts like that...
Indeed this is one of the two versions that I love :p The second is Kissin's interpretation
Incredible speed and precision!! I have yet to see anyone else play La Campanella like or even better than Yundi does.
ユンディリーさんの演奏は素晴らしいの言葉以外見つからない😊🎉🎉🎉🎉
all i can say is WOW!
my jaw dropped around the 4:00 mark
진짜엄청난 연주다...
라캄 최고의 연주인듯...
