Zucc comes back from basically having no motor skills, and then LEADS the Rangers in scoring the next season. Yet SOMEHOW Jaromir Jagr wins the Masterton trophy that year... Give Jagr that trophy the year he retires, hes still going. Jagr has never had to go through an injury like that. Completely disrespectful.

Jagr led that Florida team in points as a 43 year old. Yea Zucchini did the same thing but it’s VERY rare that a nhl player leads there team in points past the age of 40.

Every player sacrifices themselves for their team, its a business and they know it, had nothing to do with him outside of his talent was able to get pieces needed at the time, we didn't like seeing him go, but thats how sports work .
They weren’t going to pay him and I don’t think he wanted to be part of the rebuild. There’s no hostile feelings between them, they traded him to a more competitive team at that time
