Since this video is still getting attention after the Surge “removal” from raids, I want to give a mention to the Hazardous Propulsion Exotic Chest on Titan. The idea is that Cloudstrike (or Still Hunt) will build stacks for the Chestpiece, and then you can fire off the rocket volley whenever it’s available, which buffs your Crux Termination Rockets.
"For some reason, Lost Sector weapons are dropping with double perks" This is a feature, not a bug. It was announced when they added legendary weapon rotations to lost sectors that they would guaranteed have a double perk in either random column.
is there an updated list/infographic for the lost sector weapons? seems like light gg or other trackers don't have it updated cuz i'm not seeing the rocket on there
for titans, the exodus rocket exotic chest deals around 21000 damage per rocket with 6, its an extra 126k damage, and a 35% buff to your rocket launcher a crux termination with reconstruction + explosive light (or bipod, personal preference here) will be great, then add on something like supremacy with bait and switch + rewind rounds for mag dump potential now, dont think you Have to dps, you can help in other ways sentinels shield blocks the witness's attacks, including the jump mechanic during damage phase plus, it gives a 40% buff to everything sent through, including supers (so if a nova bomb goes through it, 40% buff to its damage) since well was nerfed, you can run sentinels instead to give your team a little more survivability, and if you run the aforementioned weapons and gear, you can stack damage too when super is out dont try to adhere to a meta, its not fun, and new shit will not be found try new things, its more fun that way
Thank you so much for this. Everyone seems to have forgotten what to use for dps ever since still hunt became meta for this encounter. Rocket/gl swapping, etc. Explosives are still kinda dangerous, but with everyone moving in unison you'll actually be able to fire without much risk of blowing yourself up. Unless you have that one guy that usually strafes while in a well...
Yea i still gotta work out what the best special weapons are, since you’re always gonna fire off all your rockets anyways. On solar surge it’s definitely still hunt, but i want to see if its better on non solar surge

I guess it’s because people wonder if the supers damage is even relevant enough to use. The witness damage phase is weird. I would hit immunes with the axes sometimes and even the tracking of the axes is fucked. The best time I found to super the witness is when we have to jump in the middle of damage phase. It keeps you suspended during the witnesses attack and it allows you to keep damaging him.
sometimes when you use the axes they straight up do nothing, hit a random projectile in mid air or go straight fucking behind you for some reason. titans get one ranged super and it still isnt consistent
It's a very underwhelming super in its current form. There's also a high chance a projectile or object will completely block your axe and you lose out on 1/3 of your damage. It does very well against Herald though especially when paired with a tractor cannon.
So during arc surges my team has ran Queenbreaker. We've been half healthing him with 6 queen breakers. Obviously arc surges and such but it's been putting in work. Use marksman sights and hip fire grip
If you want a good exotic mark combo for titan for damage spirit of eternal warrior and spirit of star eater 70% more super damage which twilight arsenal hits the hardest with star eater and Spirit of eternal warrior 4x surge (25% damage buff) for matching element of ur super (edge transit, leviathans, falling guillotine etc.)
1:21 double perks are intentional for world drops obtained form lost sector chests. It was an update from a while ago and I believe the chance at double perks is greater on higher difficulty lost sector completions.
I have one issue with the Titan Void Axe super on Withness... "IMMUNE IMMUNE IMMUNE" and I made sure to hit him dead center too, AFTER pumping a few gunshots to make sure he's damage-able, anyone else having this issue?
I think my biggest issue is I'm usually add clear on witness and I just can't find a good load out for both add clear and DPS. I guess I could just do ability spam for adds and run rocket/gl+sniper for DPS. The other issue is we try and stay at the back near the stairs during adds and there just aren't many good long range add clear primaries and doing ability spam from back there is kinda hard on titan. If only we had old HoIL.
I'm a simple man: I see arc surge - I pull out the grand overture. Besides, new titan chest exotic buffs those rockets' damage through the roof. If there's a void surge - titan has the "star-eater + eternal warrior" class item paired with edge transit. The most no-brain pick is to use microcosm (if you have a subclass/prismatic super that matches the surge your kinetic weapons will recieve that 25% buff).
The kinetic buff is a part of the Overcharge modifier which is not in raids/dungeons, so there’s no increase there. TWID today announced surges are going away anyways, though

What do you do for add clear with a loadout like this? I found in our runs that the reason still hunt + hunter loadout is OP is because they can still devote their heavy slot to a MG and hit top tier boss dps while crushing adds during non-dps phase A loadout like this is great for boss burn but you would be relegated to a legendary kinetic for add clear, which seems incredibly painful. Especially subjugators
On my warlock, i use osmiomancy coldsnap and hellion which lets me handle all the red bar ads, but u can definitely run a trace rifle or rocket sidearm in the kinetic slot. For subs u can use your cloudstrike/still hunt, since special ammo is easy to come by
prisma titan can do some crazy ad clear with thunderclap. after the buff it hits like a truck and you can pair it with knockout to hit even harder and regain health you also have drengrs lash and shackle grenades and can get abeyant leap or severance enclosure on the first column of the exotic mark to either mass explode ads or mass suspend them, and then still have star eaters on the second column for twilight arsenal.
My only problem is that the vid says Warlock/Titan dps but then proceeds to only show Warlock footage and doesn’t show any footage with the new Titan super probably because that super is mid at best for this encounter
Like he said in the video, it is basically the exact same rotation, so it makes sense not to show the full execution. The titan super does a bit less damage than nova bomb if I remember correctly, but it does have the benefit of weakening the witness, so in that regard it adds significantly more damage in total across your whole team than nova bomb. This is especially relevant because debuffing the witness isn't the easiest thing outside of divinity and that is a significant damage loss if used.
Unpopular for some but I legit am a little bummed surges are leaving, I like actually putting use in a variety of stuff that gets the benefit of the element type and thinking outside of box with stuff. Can't wait to use the same flavor of the month things for an entire year again.
On warlock I’ve been using microcosm along with cenotaph and supremacy with 4th times/wewind wounds. Usually got around 2 mil damage per phase, but I could definitely get more if I used nova instead of well

all weapons will be tuned to do damage as if there was an active surge for it, so cloudstrike will still be doing this kind of damage, its just that there will be more options now to choose from, but from his testing, 4 mill in one phase is still 4 mill
That's a great rotation but a general problem and why people are using hunters is ad clear and running, machine guns are great for both of those and its much more annoying to do without, so having a machine gun and still hunt is way more effective even if you do same damage with hunter.

Lost Sectors drop world drop weapons. It was a change made a season or two ago. They're on a rotation though, so crux is only available once every 3 or 4 days I think

When I tried Nova Bomb, it actively tracked away from the crit spot towards, like, the shoulder. Didn't see any immune numbers so absolutely not complaining though
Chance is definitely there, I find it productive to communicate with your team when you're sending a nova bomb as a momentary lapse in damage to not insta pop a nova bomb and shoot where it isn't going is made up significantly by the nova bombs damage.

@@SSD_Penumbra not as good here - it's best when you can just lay on the trigger and spin it up (ex. nezarec + div), but you have to dodge in this fight. leviathan's breath is great on void days though, and hipfiring it lets you see and dodge attacks easily.
On your screen should be a mark showing what the expert lost sector is. I'm guessing the weapon drops are random world drops, but since there's a lot of them that are absolutely goated, you just gotta farm 'em

People just have no idea which weapons are "strong weapons" though. I started playing in BL and there were basically no DPS resources anywhere I could find that seemed reliable until Aegis became popular circa S20. So that entire era was basically "linears I guess" (with a break for Izi/Palmyra on Rhulk) until RON, which became "thunderlord I guess." Tons of people talking about Starfire Protocol during that time too, but I couldn't find much information on that either--and since the bugged Wolfpack Rounds damage wasn't widely known at the time either, the attitude of the people around me was "why try X when linears/thunderlord" most of the time. "Oh you'll blow yourself up during dps"

You're too high up in the air. Try being lower to the ground.

During Solar surge I used Sleeper Simulant on my Titan and Warlock. Easy to use, can hipfire and damage was adequate.

With my team, I shoot off a full mag of Microcosm. Then I activate Sentinel Shield and start magnifying my team's damage.

I think euphony is much more ammo friendly
all weapons will be tuned to do damage as if there was an active surge for it, so cloudstrike will still be doing this kind of damage, its just that there will be more options now to choose from, but from his testing, 4 mill in one phase is still 4 mill

my team used queenbreaker, ease of use but unlucky ammo drops so 3 phase , did the job with 1 hunter

thunderlord isn't good in the first place, and its especially bad here since you have to stop shooting multiple times to dodge the attacks

@@SSD_Penumbra not as good here - it's best when you can just lay on the trigger and spin it up (ex. nezarec + div), but you have to dodge in this fight. leviathan's breath is great on void days though, and hipfiring it lets you see and dodge attacks easily.

This is still relevant. Most people think you can’t do decent damage off Hunter but even without surges this would put you in the 6 mill range.

On your screen should be a mark showing what the expert lost sector is. I'm guessing the weapon drops are random world drops, but since there's a lot of them that are absolutely goated, you just gotta farm 'em

People just have no idea which weapons are "strong weapons" though. I started playing in BL and there were basically no DPS resources anywhere I could find that seemed reliable until Aegis became popular circa S20. So that entire era was basically "linears I guess" (with a break for Izi/Palmyra on Rhulk) until RON, which became "thunderlord I guess." Tons of people talking about Starfire Protocol during that time too, but I couldn't find much information on that either--and since the bugged Wolfpack Rounds damage wasn't widely known at the time either, the attitude of the people around me was "why try X when linears/thunderlord" most of the time. "Oh you'll blow yourself up during dps"
