Does your area have multi-family properties? If you can find a 4-plex in an area that doesn't have STR restrictions you can make some serious money. We purchased a 4-plex in the Chicagoland area and have been renovating every unit as we go. Currently working on the last one at the momet. We originally purchased as a value-add house hack. We just moved out so we can reno the unit we were living in. We purchased it for $220k due to the amount of work it needed. Currently making about $3.5k+ per unit a month on average. We're set to finish by next month and then we're going to look for another 4-plex to do it again. If done right, each 4-plex can gross a six figure income. 👍
