      @@superstro2225 Stay positive,, it’s a difficult first 2-3 months.. after 6 months you’ll be back to the same activity as before,, unless you play contact / team sports, then it’ll take a tad longer maybe 6-12 months to feel zero pain..
      best advice I can give is work on mobility and flexion as much as possible in the early stages. Feel free to fire me any questions over you have.

    I just want to say that sometimes it was overwhelming being immobilized and not being able to walk around normal and such. Watching your videos gave me such strength and resolve. I would have come nowhere had it not been for your inspirational videos. I'm a week and a half post surgery and I watch your videos every day. Thank you Eric. Thank you so very much, from the bottom of my heart.

    2 years in for me, echo everything said. Max fit videos really helped in the early stages and gave me hope. If you are just starting on the long road to recovery definitely be patient! Give yourself credit for every small step on the journey and you will get there. Thanks again guys and good luck to all.👍🏻

    Thanks for all the supportive words. I had my patellar tendon repair on 9/18 and after a year and a half after I hit a wall my surgeon ordered an mri and found a decimated medial meniscus tear. I got that repaired on 8/20 and thankful that is was repaired instead of administering a meniscectomy. This past September was three years post my patellar tendon repair. Still not the same but have been making progress and can jog slowly without pain and limited stiffness. Trying to keep the faith

    I never knew how much inspirational words could mean until I had this injury and found your videos. I just completed 8 weeks. Passive flexion is about 104 and active flexion is 96. It’s tough because I feel like Im pushing hard but can’t get the knee to bend the way I would like. Swelling is still there also. Trying to keep the faith

    Hey man i appreciate you posted all this, and shedding some light on ruptured patella tendon recovery. I tore mine dunking and have surgery in 2 days. I know the recovery is long, especially for explosive dynamic movements. I’ve been a 600lbs squatter in my life and a 4.4 for meter sprinter. I’m 32, I’ve accepted I may not get those type of numbers again. I was wondering though, how long was it until you could start lifting weights like a bodybuilder style program? More for hypertrophy and less for dynamic speed? Physical exercise/activity is the only way I can stay sane and healthy so I truly appreciate any advice you could give me. Thanks man.

    i'm 8 months post op and longboarded 15km today. after that my knee started to hurt when i went up and down stairs. idk if i should chill out or can i still keep exercising my legs. i can bear the pain and can push past it but i'm just not sure if i should. how did you deal with pain when exercising? how did you know when you shouldn't push anymore?

    • @ehailey09
      @ehailey09  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Even at 8 months you’re still less than half way through the healing process. This is really an 18-24 recovery to really feel like yourself. Keep pushing. You should hurt yourself. It just might be more sore than a non injured knee.
