    I gotta say, Greg, since you've been doing these fast food reviews, I really appreciate how friendly and respectful you are to the employees. So many people treat fast food workers like garbage just because they feel like they can. Cheers, man.

    that looks so easy to cook it at home. It's just two seasoned breaded chicken patties (or boneless chicken breast), ham, pineapple slice, two cheese slices with a little BBQ sauce. I like that there is no bread or bun used, what a good idea! The size of the chicken nugget patties from KFC is so small!

  • @pennyh4021

  • @davideirth

    Greg do you remember the "Hawaiian Pack" back in the seventies. 2 pieces of original chicken, a crumbed piece of pineapple and banana, with chips.

  • @naturesfinest4218

    That would be like $8 USD. Absolutely ludicrous for a fast food entree. I could go to a nice sit down burger joint and get something bigger and better for $7 USD.. Fast food restaurants are losing their minds!

    • @mju34
      @mju34 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I hear they pay their fast food workers something like 15 an hour down there in Oz. That probably explains why the prices are double what you would pay in the U.S.

    • @naturesfinest4218

    • @tgibson5856
      @tgibson5856 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      mju34 Australias minimum wage is over $AUD17, Americas minimum wage is an absolute joke, honestly feel sorry for them for getting so underpaid. Works both ways, Australians are paid more and things cost more so it balances out. I'd rather spend an extra dollar or two on a burger and have our workers paid correctly. 😊👍🏻

    • @naturesfinest4218
      @naturesfinest4218 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Téa Gibson US min wage is a joke for sure. Based on inflation and the time that min wage was set, it's only fair for our min wage employees to get paid $12.50. The gov't is fucked though, so good luck.

  • @nabionic
    @nabionic 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yeah you are right with it being bloody expensive.. Food prices are going up. Serving sizes are definatly going down in australia. Im in a family of 6 and whenever we go to the usual take away places it costs us a good $50 - $60+ to feed everyone.. When I was youngerit would be less than $20 to feed a family of 4. And if you got hot chips from a fish and chip shop $2 is all that your would have needed and you would have left overs!

  • @jessikerx7125
    @jessikerx7125 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I tried this for the first time today and would agree with your score. In the US, we don't have all of this fun food in our KFC! So, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and was surprised at no bun (didn't research on heard about). My next stop will be Hungry Jacks. I'm just not too keen on the price you pay here for food (or anything really lol).

      kfc says its a burger, and if it isnt what is it?

    • @upso
      @upso 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's a whole can of worms... but a burger (at least in the US) is something distinctly a burger. Typically consistently with a "burger" or a "meat pattie" as the crowning jewel. what I think you reviewed was technically a meat sandwich and not technically a burger as there was no burger pattie in the middle. ??? I know it's a weird thing to rally the troops behind.

    • @foodiegalore
      @foodiegalore 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +upso well maybe you shouldn't be narrow minded and know that we use Australia English not US English.
      Everywhere in the world besides North America would called this a burger.
      Maybe the US should change the English back to what it should be then.
      You guys calling everything a sandwich is messed up. Can't even tell the different between a burger, roll , sandwich etc.

    To be fair a chicken breast fillet is going to be the size of a chicken breast minus the bone. In those terms, the size of the chicken pieces was exactly what I would expect. The pineapple, cheese & bacon looked decent too. All in all, I thought it looked very tasty. When it comes to the price, I always find KFC expensive, so that is a negative point I would expect too. I'd try that double down at least once.
