I listened to this song when I graduated high school. 20 years later, I decided to go back to college & finish my degree, after dropping out. I just graduated this week, & I'm listening to this song again.
Well on January 12th 1970 and I grew up through the 80s and 90s and I still play these songs today so I'm still stuck in the '80s and '90s music for all you people in the world God bless you all I still got my original cassette tapes of these songs of poison motley Crue and Def Leppard cassette tapes and they still play to this day
Fun fact: They filmed the video for Ride The Wind at the concert in Detroit I was at and you can see my arm at the beginning of the video. I had a blue jacket on and I was right in the center of the stage a few people back on main floor so I know it's me!
One of my all time favorite Poison songs. I remember when this song came out it was a very dark time for Poison with CC leaving and as you can see Bret is the only one in the video and that is why. I finally got to see them in 2001 with CC and Bobby and Ricki and it was magic.
I am thankful CC has turned his life around for the better, it's a blessing and Amen he has faced his demons and continues to rock it! CC Deville you rock my world 😎💓you are such a personable kind soul. I think you are very Hansome, hot & sexiest man alive ❣BTW I am NOT some crazy fan, just a New Hampshire country gal & single businesswoman. Your guitar playing is so incredible with very unique qualities which are truly underestimated! C.C. DeVille dating history - 5 long term relationships / me 3 Who is he dating right now? According to our records, C.C. DeVille is possibly single. OMG I totally would be indebted if I could meet this man!!!!🙏
because CC had just gotten fired, and the band was kind of a in a place where they weren't sure which direction they were going to take, so they took some time off and Grunge was the only thing labels, radio and Mtv was pushing, although this video was on Mtv for a short while.
Yeah, great song….it was part of the bonus tracks on the live album, and they were all great song actually. But you know your band is falling apart when only the lead singer shows up for the video shoot and they have to show the rest of the band on old footage in the background.
Holy cow! How i love this song and how i love Poison!!! I grow up listening this band and after all this years remain one of my favourite! Poison Legend! 🤩😉🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻💪🏻
He is a great guitarist. Don't understand why he doesn't get more love from the masses for that. He has a very distinguishable sound that is extremely melodic.
One of my favorite Poison songs.. man this brings back memories. "You make my blood boil hot and my heart beat like a drum, i wanna do to u girl things that aint never been done!" Awesome song
So, in the year 2060, humanity will rediscover the obvious superiority of the VHS format?! Wow. Seriously, though, this is truly a (largely unknown) gem of a song.
Many thanx emimusic for uploading this fuckin´great Poison song!...the last time that i heard this song was 2001-2002 or 2003.. ..GREAT JOB! Greetings from Santiago, CHILE.
On July 3rd 2011 I saw Poison play before a capacity crowd at Bridgestone Arena on the tour with Motley Crue and the New York Dolls. At intermission after Poison played I saw this "tough" looking thrash metal dude wearing a Slayer T-Shirt on his phone and overheard him say: "I never thought I would say this but Poison kicked ass tonight". I thought to myself, "No dude, they always have, you just finally forced to give them a chance". They are a great band and should be in the R&R Hall Of Fame
I have a 3/4" master tape of this vid in storage somewhere. I worked on this music video for Stargate Films. Academy Award winner Joe Viscocil did the pyrotechnics! Gasoline and black powder. And It blew up real good! So much fun, and the band was super cool.
I’d love to play the hole album loud like I’m in a concert of my own.this song is on my top 5 favorite song from them.I’ve have more favorites from them .I’d just chose say top 5
Still watching here in 2020, and I’m surprised Bret hasn’t been canceled and called a racist yet for having a confederate flag on his guitar... man our society today sucks take me back
I love Poison and I told VEVO this on the only video they got of Poison. I saw Poison in concert. Dino and Debbie Stout both were dead set against me playing my Poison Cd when I had it not knowing they signed a record contract with you.

This song was recorded before they kicked out C.C. So that’s why he was relegated to a few shots. Ritchie has not joined the band and for the record, Ritchie was nailing Rikki Rockets fiancé which doubly sucked because he wanted Blues Saraceno as their new guitar player, Brett and Bobby preferred Ritchie. Blues replaced Ritchie to finish the tour and record Crack a Smile and More then was gone opening the door for the reunion in 1999.
According to the vh1 behind the music on poison. C C and Bret were having problems between each other. C.C. wanted to control the band and Bret and the others wouldn't put up with it.
This song was one of the last four CC studio recordings. No other guitarist is credited on the record (but who knows for sure). He is in this video, but most certainly "de-emphasized" because he was asked to leave the group before it was released. He rejoined in 1999.
Pedro J. Mulero Andújar He still played on the song though. Nobody is in the video except for Bret, everyone else is relegated to archival footage. I've already heard this song about 100 times, but I can't get bored it. It's a fantastic hit from Poison. Thank you Poison 100 times!

He wouldn't give you 2 seconds. He gets the best of the best and I'm pretty sure your ugly and fat. So please don't post here anymore thanks.
Ed. Cedar two seconds is all anyone would get from you.
I’m 65, and don’t expect the time of day from any of them. Still love to watch and listen to Poison.
One of their most underrated songs
poison's guitar always sounds so nostalgic! where are these good days?
The miniture effects work at the end is incredible
This song , Fallen Angel , Stand and Ride the Wind are my faves
Fun fact: They filmed the video for Ride The Wind at the concert in Detroit I was at and you can see my arm at the beginning of the video. I had a blue jacket on and I was right in the center of the stage a few people back on main floor so I know it's me!
Fallen Angel is a classic
..poison has so many great hits.. "something to believe in", "life loves a tragedy", " i won't forget you", "cry tough", "nothin' but a good time"
Unskinny bop
Good thick getting it good!
Mine too 🤟

I absolutely love this song. How was this not pushed more by their label, radio, & mtv at the time!?

It was during Poisons implosion, with CC getting kicked out and in Rehab, and the Grunge scene erupting only 6 weeks later.. 🤷♂️
It got a lot of play on MTV
heard this song for the first time today, now im gunna have to remember this day for the rest of my life as the day music got better once again
Great song. I love how in 2060 they have a VHS player handy and here in 2018 they're pretty rare. LOL. Awesome band and cool video...

He is a great guitarist. Don't understand why he doesn't get more love from the masses for that. He has a very distinguishable sound that is extremely melodic.

I'd like to put to rest the rumours
I'd like to put to bed the lies
I'd like to throw away the past
And show you how I feel inside
Ooh, I'll be your taxi and your driver
I'll be your road if you need
I'd like to push and push and push
Just to make you pleased
But your river of emotion for me
Flows like a dried up stream
So tell me why
Your satisfaction's like a heart of stone
So tell me why
Your love reaction chills me to the bone
You make my blood boil hot
And my heart beat like a drum
I wanna do to you girl
Things that ain't never been done
From the rain I'll be your shelter
From the cold I'll be your heat
I'll push and push and push
To make you pleased
So tell me why
Your satisfaction's like a heart of stone
So tell me why
Your love reaction chills me to the bone
So tell me your reason
For tearing me up inside
Girl you gotta tell me why
But your river of emotion for me
Flows like a dried up stream
So tell me why
So tell me why
So tell me why
Your satisfaction's like a heart of stone
So tell me why
Your love reaction chills me to the bone
So tell me why
Your satisfaction's like a heart of stone
So tell me why
Your love reaction chills me to the bone

the venom of Poison is lost without CC
Benedict Bayaca What's the name of the guitarist in this video?
@pete CC DeVille, classic Poison's lead guitarist, is not in this video. Bret Michaels, Poison's vocalist, is the one playing the guitar in the video.
This song was one of the last four CC studio recordings. No other guitarist is credited on the record (but who knows for sure). He is in this video, but most certainly "de-emphasized" because he was asked to leave the group before it was released. He rejoined in 1999.

CC was kicked out of the band at the '91 VMAs so I guess it depends on whether this video was shot before or after that show.
