Very cool, didn't even think that a glass neck would be possible. Great choice of body and pickups as well, that guitar has incredible tone.👍
I've been following Morningstar glass guitars on Instagram since literally day one, watching him demo and create glass guitars was fascinating and when I heard that you would be demoing one of his necks I was so ecstatic! It's been a wonder to see all of his successes and struggles and I'm so happy he is getting the recognition he deserves!!
What happens if you turn round and hit the end of it on something how easy will it break

That's: "Yo ! Science, bitches !!!"

Actually, it’s👇
“Yeah Mr. White! Yeah Science!”
How do you "tone wood" disciples feel now? :P
That is really nice!
Wow that whole combination looks beautiful
That sounds crystal clear!
If the glass was stained between the frets, Stryper would use them. :-)
This is exactly the guitar the white walkers would use if they started a band !
imagine playing one of them at the Glastonbury festival OK i will get my coat lol

That was the most original comment in the entire chain.
adding a light in the heel would make an amazing effect! especially with the frosted finger board
That Neck is a Work of Art!!! Sounds Awesome.🤘
Wow, a lot of fundamental in the overtones. Sounds like humbuckers. Very cool, unique sound.
neck: glass
tone: clear
The only thing that neck is missing is lights in the neck to light up the frets in different colours! Man if it had that feature I would be buying one immediately.
Oh come on. It would be SO EASY to make a LED box and just use double sided tape to hold it in place.
I suspect all ye need is to mount just one in the neck pocket pointing in line with the neck long axis. Use one of those multicolor LED (some of which can be programmable). Ugh, if it wasn't for the fact I've already bought a neck for my current fender compatible body (a 85-87 Kramer Voyager), I'd seriously get one! Maybe could drill in install metal plugs in the long lower wing to help counterbalance the heavy neck. Altho that WILL mean an even heavier guitar. :(
“I Can See Clearly Now”... nice touch. 🤣🤣
That might be the smoothest and most clear tone I have ever heard. It reminds me a lot of Santana.
"...soon turned out, I had a neck-o-glass..." Debbie Harry
How the hell did they hammer the frets in
warmed the glass from the sides than stuck em in probably
Very, very careful..
You don't have to hammer frets in on wooden necks so why would you here? They're likely just snug fit and glued in.
The heel is transparent from the bottom, looks like there might be no slot in the fretboard and no tang under the fret? Maybe they're epoxied to the fretboard like the tuners are epoxied to the headstock.
Carefully.
you break a tiny chip off and next thing you know the whole neck is red
😬
Hey brother, long time no talk, glad to see your still pumping out the great videos, and I have never played on a glass neck, acrylic yes! Hope all is well!
Such glassy tone from using that neck.
When playing a glass neck, throw no stones.
