Not sure of the height clearance, but this could be a excellent SBC for my Atari Arcade Fightstick (just got to rearrange the mounting from a rspi3 to this). Pop in either Batocera or SteamOS variant and I got a nice Emulation/AAA Fighting Game setup.
zen5 mobile equivalent of this sbc should be nice to see - prices on these should drop radically going forward - compared to a pi5 there is no contest essentially - yeah it costs 2-3x but you get more than 2-3x perf - people do not realize how much work you can get done of one of these things - the next iterations with 2.5gbr/wifi7 plus occulink? will be even better
The Minisforum AR900i just came out. Wonder if you'll review it. They weren't clear regarding the heatsink if it was the same used in the BD770i model. The cooler height I'm really interested in because I have the perfect case for it and I fear it's taller even with the same 120mm x 15mm fan on top.

Ordered a new GPU so i might as well get a clean install, been meaning to do that too for a while. So yea. Not that much money for the pleasure of not having the watermark, plus being able to change background. Also. Can't create install media with unregistered windows. Thus, needing to borrow from a friend.
Cool but not sure what I'd use it for. I have the GPD winmax 2 with the same APU, really not much bigger than this, so not sure if this is worth it to me

The SBC designer could have added a 16x PCIe slot on the back side for GPUs... But they didn't...
that 56w pull on the AC side is actually pretty inline with pulling mid~high 80% efficiency 45~48w at 12v

I've been wanting a good ryzen sbc to come out. This got me excited. Honestly I hoped the rp5 had pcie3.0 x4 but that fell short.
