Fox Explorer Barrow Deluxe Review and unboxing. No Bulls**t review. Close ups and what you get

After buying the FOX EXPLORER BARROW DELUXE TT a while ago I decided it was time to do a review on this and let you know the good and bad points of this barrow.
This is a compact barrow in my opinion and fits into the boot of my car with the bags still attached [just removing the handles] which is one plus that makes this a very handy barrow for daily fishing sessions.
If you are looking for a cheap/ middle of the range quality fishing barrow this may be the one for you.

I had one of these and really liked it. Some of the Fox modular luggage will fit like a glove into the main bag. And can easily be accessed from the side opening... I made the mistake of keeping bags of bait/pellet in the mesh paniers on one trip. And the resident mice made short work of the mesh... Regarding the tyre. I had no problems with mine over 18 months of use. But you can get a can of the foam spray stuff that you use on a car tyre. Which will help make the barrow tyre more robust... Good honest review though... I thought the inclusion of the barrow cover was a nice touch by Fox..

I brought one in November from total tackle just seen this review today I ordered the plain green standard but got this the cameo delux result I got round the handle issue by using electrical tape wrapped round the ends a few times works a treat no more wobbles

@@Operationcarp to b fair the handles are to low for me it’s a great barrow tho but u can get after market handles that sit higher now for it

Hi, I bought one of these but no instructions. Only question is that the foot section had a nut and bolt with 4 washers. What is correct way to fit washers, 2 on outside by bolt the 2 nut side, or do you place 1 each side of where internal frame sits? Thanks

Hows the barrow doing? Thinking of buying one of these. Read a few reviews tho about the handles working loose and the tyres popping.

Yeah I still use mine each session. The handles aren’t the best thou. Mine don’t wobble loose but they never really feel absolutely solid like on a carp porter for example. It’s because the screws go in at an angle instead of straight. The luggage etc for it is fantastic for what I need thou and never have to travel far. I haven’t had issues with the tyre but have seen others who have as the tread on them isn’t that thick either. Carp porter tyres are thicker imo. Hope that helps

Handles where poor in my opinion. Swapped mine out for a braced pair from a carp porter mk2. So much better, no flex what so ever making controlli g the barrow so much easier.

Thanks for sharing Dan. I definitely think it’s because of the screw coming in from the corner. Definitely not great handles
