I've had mine for about 2 year also. Never found a use for those front mesh bags. Got the cooler bag and 2 accessory bags and they fill the barrow bag perfectly. If you're over 6ft I highly recommend getting longer handles, that bar across the rear legs is a killer on the shins otherwise!

Ive got one, I think they are brilliant. I have the barrow bag that straps to the front, this really helps with counter balancing the barrow, and its great for storing everything in it. What I absolutely love is, all the bags on the barrow open from the side... This is brilliant as you don't have to take everything off to access the stuff in the bags... I wish other manufacturers would take this on board as it can be really annoying. Prime example "NASH"!!!!. I had a Special Ops transporter for my 10ft scope rods.... Brilliant piece of kit for keeping your rods protected, HOWEVER, they are so badly designed!!! Although the concept is brilliant, they are garbage!!! Why??? The top pockets on the top of the case are great, it's the internal storage GRRRRRR, its underneath the rods!!! So you have to take all your rods out to access the storage compartments... Which brings me to my point... Why didnt they put side access in, the way FOX have done, to get your bits out from under your rods without taking them out??? Such a simple concept... I sold the transporter case, it really did my head in!!! You could potentially get everything in that transporter... Unfortunately, you have to take your gear out to access it!!
Sorry for the gripe... They aint cheap neither!!!
Only bad couple of things I wold say about the Fox Barrow.... Balancing can be tricky at times, it's not the easiest to control. You can't change the wheel to a big flat square one (which REALLY helps give great control and better balancing), because the gap isn't wide enough. I Pushed my mates trakker one for him a couple of weeks back because he'd done his arm in. He has the wide fat square wheel on his... WOW, I cannot tell you how stable his barrow was to mine... Thats it really. Fox barrow highly recommend, once you sort the balancing out.
    Sorry for going on!!

These are good had mine ages now it lives outside 24/7 and the only thing I've had to do is the locking nut for one of the handles locked up and snapped but my local tackle shop got me a new one without problems and a tyre but that was thanks to a fellow fisherman leaving broken beer bottle in a swim and I'm 6ft and handles are perfect

Good bit of kit but I did have my tyre blow up sat in the shed over winter but that can happen to any one load it well and the balance is great with the water on both sides

How about a demo of breaking it down, throwing in the car boot, pulling out and putting together again? Great that it's surviving so well, but if it's as frustrating to assemble as my fishing trolley then I'd look elsewhere

I have one from when they first came out. Had the tyre fail twice, one of the screws holding the wheel fork has failed but works with just one, also one of the screws holding the handle is getting loose as well. It packs down nicely and is lightweight. On a small side but does the job. I wish the quality of threaded fasteners was better, they are all M6 and made of cheese.

This Barrows brilliant, Lightweight/Compact, spare wheels easy to get at b&q, best advice would be change the handles for the Longer ones!! (think they come on the deluxe but fox sell seperate if your ask spares department)

can you recommend a specific wheel from b+q that fits this barrow/axle? Thanks.

@@davidparker4580 any of the 360mm pneumatics should work, think there about £20, just take the axle bar with you to check the fit is what I did

So you have not experienced the handless sliding?
The screw only tightens up a few millimetres on to the corner edge of the handle and once the metal there is dented from the pressure applied, there is after time nothing to grip the handle bar and it starts to move / slide when in use. It got to the point I could fully tighten the screw with as much force as possible, then easily pull the handles out. I always worried when having to barrow down any slope that they would slide out. I had to cut some of the plastic moulding away from the screw handle to reveal more screw thread. They really need to adjust how the handles are kept in place.
The tyre is about as thin as a rizla and blew up within the first month.
The main bag is badly designed. The flap opens the wrong way, so its always in the way.
Try using two of the storage bags. Yes they fit from the top. But the top of the two bags sit an inch above the main frame meaning you have to remove the bottom bag first to get to the top bag and then its a fight to put both both bag back in especially if the bags are full. It would be impossible to remove the top bag if using the included shelf. Even the full sized cooler bag has to be put in at an angle if full as again the main frame blocks the top of the bag.
    All this for £160

I have the deluxe version, it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought

  • @Munden85

Don’t over load your under bag is rubs on the wheel.. Also the tightening screws on the handles work themselves lose after a few trips

I have the same barrow but I’m just wondering if someone has the same issue with the locking screws for the handles. They are placed in a hideous position, when fastening them they always come loose…I would assume that placing screws on a flat surface gives you more grip then placing them on the right edge of the handle…

    • @chrisg5486

I got the deluxe version of this and a older carp porter, only used the fox barrow once so far and thought they felt abit loose but couldn’t tighten them any more. Where as the carp porter because the locking screws go on a flat surface they go a lot tighter and more secure

Do the valves on the barrow tyres fit a standard garage air pressure pump as most building barrow tyres don't.If not how do you inflate them?

  • @ondrejjanoska660
    @ondrejjanoska660 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Luke mixing frame rates should be clever! You see the stuttering in your B roll. I guess you shoot 24 and B roll slowmo only 60....that is reason for stutter. UK Used to be PAL region (till 2012) so why not easy life 25/50?

can you imagine these getting a product to review and just been totally honest saying their no good, the wheel is a nightmare to get on and off i have to leave the nuts to the wheel hand tight or it wont budge and its still tight getting it on and off

I use the explorer deluxe and the biggest problem I had had is the handles pulling out going down hill, I find the locking screws are not great
