I have a tendency to repeatedly think to myself "I'm so anxious right now!" right before I'm going to leave my home (I have agoraphobia), but for the past few weeks I've replaced it with "I'm excited!" and it has helped me so much. It makes me less bothered about the anxiety symptoms, when I think of it as just being excited about experiencing new things instead of being bored at home all day.

Thank you Dennis. I’ve been suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks for a few years now and never knew how to conquer it. I tried so many different medications that only made this worse and I feel like I’ve made more progress in the last few days just by listening to your podcast and TH-cam channel than I have in years of meds. Now, instead of saying “My past was traumatic” I will be saying “My past has given me opportunities to be a better husband/father/person today” I am not a victim. I am more than anxiety. Thank you again.

Was a binge drinker with a terrible diet. Bottom line is that I had to make changes because I was diagnosed with fatty liver. No longer drink alcohol, soda, nor do I eat fast food. I drink a lot more water and eat more of a low fat, plant based diet. Sadly, anxiety and depression have come to rule the roost. The globus sensation in my throat bothers me at times. My change of life has interrupted many of the "fun" things I used to do. You are 100% correct about the empty void. This is going to be quite the challenge. Thank you for doing these videos.
Negative thinking is my biggest downfall if I was to overcome negative thinking id be a much happier person and these videos are realy helping me improve negative thinking thankyou for helping each and every1 of us.
These two verses are beneficial too. Proverbs 16:3 "Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established." Philippines 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Number 2 is the one I need the most: Start thinking about something positive. It's so obvious yet so hard to master without turning it into overthinking.
Correct me if I’m wrong... I took notes and watched this video 3 times and I got only 9?! 1. Be aware 2. Start Thinking about 3. I’m curious about that 4. I’m excited about 5. My expectations from the past were not met 6. I’m overwhelmed and over worked 7. My past gave me opportunities to learn right from wrong 8. I want that. To fill the empty void 9. People have never experienced what I have Btw “I’m excited to see what I’ve missed because I’m curious”
Stop thinking about it ... I say that to myself. I am practicing replacing that with gratitude and positivity. You’ve been there which makes listening to your words more powerful... 🙏 thank you. I’m excited about my transition into healthy thinking.
"I have anxiety- I'm excited" "Stop thinking about that > Start thinking about something else". I will re watch this for the next couple days to see if this helps me.
For me it's always been" My past was traumatic " Having suffered immense parental abuse physical, mental, emotional all for years. This is so so helpful Denis. I love you so much!
Negative thoughts, that was a mistake I was making in trying to replace negative thoughts. I would tell myself to stop thinking about that. Now, I am going to do your method!! I have always struggled with anxiety and overthinking which has made me miserable. I am working hard to change that mindset.
The negative thinking is my biggest hurdle. And then the psychiatrists gave me a PTSD diagnosis. So I've been seeing myself as broken beyond repair. And hearing this video is starting me thinking in a different way
One of my favorite reframes is instead of saying you're worthless, say you have untapped potential. If you think about it, as long as your capable of learning or doing some good in the world, this is definitely true.
"I've never done that" vs "I'm curious" is so true. Notice it everyday at work and can predict results from assignments and projects by how each person reacts by the phrase they use.
Geez I almost have struggled with all of these, I'd like to start with the most challenging one that is my past experiences and when that pops up every other minute thank my past for teaching me. Thank my past experiences for the person I can Become, I have been lying to myself for way too long. Enough. I tell myself and others I need medication for anxiety, I realise I need to flip this narrative. Thanks for another inspiring video.
Been suffering a lot with anxiety due to a hearing issue and live in fear of the worst scenario. #4 really spoke volumes as I constantly think I am anxious or if someone asks how i am i say immediately i have anxiety. I am fuelling my fears and anxiety so definitely need to use a positive attitude and say… I am excited today! Dennis, i watch your videos repeatedly and thank you for your openness. God Bless!
I have no energy...... that's me, recently. Feeling depressed about it. The new response to that is , "I'm overworked and overwhelmed". THANK YOU, DENNIS! Because of that simple mind switch... I feel I have an answer. Asb action I can take to turn that lethargy into peace and rejuvenation. .... I am heading off to vacation, with family , real soon. And I've been anxious about being a bummer to everyone's, and my own, fun. This video has helped me unlock my obsessive mind. I love you. And thank you for what you do!!
I don’t necessarily tell myself to stop thinking about something, sometimes I will do positive affirmations. Like when I’m too focused on my breathing, I repeat in my mind “I trust my breathing” then I will focus on something else, and typically I will forget about breathing. Our body is connected to our thoughts, if you tell yourself bad things are gonna happen, well, bad things aren’t going to happen but you may experience symptoms that appear scary, but you don’t have to experience this. We can’t stop thinking, but we can steer it in the direction that brings us to a peaceful state of mind instead of being hectic.
I’m Kathleen Steve’s Wife. I always say I feel anxiety . Saying I’m excited does make a difference, I bought the anxiety program which is all 3 combined, and I’m a little confused as to the order of it,I love these podcasts!
Thanks Dennis!! One day I will conquer my anxiety and will help others like you. I was broken down and was about to give up then I started listening your health anxiety affirmations video from. Past 3 days and feeling much better.. Love you!
Everyday is a battlefield for me and my anxious negative thoughts, i challenge them, fight them prove that they are not real, and it did a lot of good things to me
WOW. I've spent so many years reenforcing the thought "I'm always tired" to the point where Ive honestly felt I may never experience what true vitality is... I also realize that I've made "Nobody understands me /ever will understand me" a core part of my personality; it is literally a part of who I think I am...... And the only thing these two thoughts can do is keep me locked in, and I dont want to push off facing myself and living life any more! Now I can work on replacing these thoughts whenever they come up, and even better than that, this video has really helped me feel less alone, and accept that if the thought "nobody understands me" is in this video, then I cant possibly be the only one who feels that way....so there actually ARE people out there who can relate and understand! What a concept :) I love how practical and honest your information is :) thanks so much for sharing this in a way that is digestible and left me feeling lighter and with more hope. There are other kinds of TH-cam videos that leave me feeling more weighed down with heaviness and more scattered in my head after watching/listening...so this was refreshing :) THANKS!
Rest assured that a lot of us feel misunderstood. And it's really great that you've become aware of these patterns because that is the most important part. This video opened up my eyes about how often I think that as well. I have found out that if I infuse a lot of conviction in what I am saying, and try to elaborate on it as patiently as I can, there are people out there who understand. Anyway wish you the best for your journey of life, and your comment truly made me feel less alone as well. :)
1. Instead of “be careful” replace it with “be aware” 2. You’ll hear “stop thinking about it” the brain doesn’t understand negation. Replace it with “start thinking about...the thing that your excited about” 3. “I’ve never done that” say “I’m curious about that” I can solve this, I can do this. 4. “I’m anxious” replace with “I’m excited about” to walk, for my transition, my progress. Perception is everything. 5. I’m a negative thinker... replace with my expectations in the past weren’t met. You came to this world as a blank slate. 6. “I have no energy” replace with “I’ve overwhelmed and i’ve over worked myself” with being the perfect husband, son.. 7. My past was traumatic...that is why I am the way I am. Replace with my past gave me opportunities to learn right from wrong. It helped me become who I am today. 8. I need that to be happy....truth is I want that to fill the empty void within. People do this trough food, people, etc. replace with “I want that” 9. People don’t understand me, replace with people have never experienced what I have.
you help me so much. so glad i can look back on videos from years and months ago. you definitely help more than my therapists ever have. you have an understanding most of them do not have.
Your talk was inspiring as I'm on a journey to change my negative thoughts and perseptions to positive and loving ones. I struggle with my opinion of myself. I let's others define who I am. This is where the positive thinking I know will change this for me
Point number 7 really hits my heart and I cry little bit while hear this. "I have many emotional trauma in my life but I no longer saw them as trauma, I began letting go of the blame of those people, I began letting go of that perfectionist attitude that I carry myself all the day" and have a perspectives that people have never experienced what I have is really helped. Thank you sir for making this video ❤️
Love it bro! Now that I look back I have struggled for close to 20 years with negative thinking and about 15 years with anxiety. Your techniques, tips and sharing of your stories are super helpful for me. I find that I’m relating to you more then anyone I’ve ever noticed.
When you say “you create your negative” I believe that it would be more accurate if you’d say individuals have been created to have such thoughts. Like you say, people were not born negative. In reality, people become CONDITIONED to be negative. Often people, like myself, don’t realize these things even occur, as they are so automatic. Great message overall! Great work! Please keep it up 👍
My past was traumatic! HUGE for me. Being abused as a child has kept me captive to these thoughts. But I struggle with what good came from this, other than I'd die to protect a child from suffering what I went tbrough. And letting go of the blame, I relate it to righteous anger, but yes this is an unhealthy mindset. Your vids are great 👍 thank you!

Thank You so much for the video! Ive been inundating myself with videos on telling me all i have to do is change my negative thinking to positive. However i failed miserably yesterday and just Thought im just a negative thinker. I now have actual exercises to help. Thanks again
I say, “That I’ve had a hard life. And be careful.” And what your saying makes a lot of sense. I’m start trying to use better Choices of words and how I look at things. I’m facing a lot of stuff but it’s going to make me a better person. My pass just makes me aware of how much. I need to overcome. And challenge myself.
Started your program about a week ago. Love the health meditation as been unwell for for over 3 years and has really been helping. What I have a hard time with is the instant reaction and instant heart racing when I wake up after sleep. It happens so fast I can't seem to catch the thought process behind it. Once awake and this program is running, the cortisol and adrenaline have already been released into the system its then that the negative thoughts increase and worry starts that I haven't had enough sleep and it will cause more ill health and pain. Now all pumped up I never go back to sleep and lay there for hours in a state of fear purpectuating the situation. Only recently from new methods and using your program have I mananged to atleast some mornings turn the state of fear into a more calm state, however the adrenaline is still flowing around the body and I find that quite hard to deal with when I want to just sleep some more...
WOW!!! This hit me on so many levels-many “lightbulb moments!! I am writing many of these 10 things down and keeping them with me to re-read! I did, as many of us, have past traumas. In the early stages of realizing this, I was angry and mad at those people/situations, but one thing I learned early on to do, was to forgive those people (not easy to being raped at knifepoint-point), and also to forgive myself. I am so glad I used that excuse for a short period of time (about 3 months) for “why I can’t get better.” Looking at this whole thing as an opportunity-another great change! So many of these 10 things really gave me clarity and ways to reframe thoughts. Thank you, Dennis!! Blessings to all 🙏🏽♥️
The one that resonated with me the most is im excited because actually your brain confuses anxiety and excitement for the same thi g and in that turn you can use this as an opportunity! Anxiety guy im so ready to change i appreciate the videos its challenging but very very possible
All of these are great! Some I already do and I hear my kids doing it too. The one that stands out the most is be AWARE VS be careful. I love it!! I would tell my kids be careful, pay attention to your surroundings but now I’m going to say “be aware”. Thank you. The way you present this was pleasant and in a way that is easy to understand. Can’t wait to see what else I’ve missed so I subscribed to your channel.
Thank you Dennis - one of your videos appeared in my recommended videos this morning and I’ve spent the past couple of hours catching up with your channel. I’m recovering from a toxic workplace where I was bullied and intimidated by the boss for three years, before I decided enough and resigned.
My mother acted like she lost a child, she was so worried about me as a child & adult! 🤦♀️ Great Video! I think all her worrying created the reality of someone who actually jumped me while I was walking around our suburban block! Thanks! Gonna rewatch this! 🙏🏼
Stop thinking negative. Look at the world. Get up early, look at the sunrise. Look at the beauties. Haven't you passed thousands of problems successfully? Use your time for good works. Don't put a time for negative thoughts. Do something good (be busy). Find the purpose of your existance.
@@sajadsirathaidari9849 I know how to be positive too. Believe me, I love nature, exercising, travelling, being productive, and socializing. All those things make me more positive. I think it's the idiots that drain my energy, although I have to admit that I have a short temper too. If only we could just "stop thinking negatively", but that's not the way it works. In hindsight, I've been able to cope with my problems more successfully nowadays. Other people think I'm normal, that's good.
The most powerful video for me. Thanks Dennis. One would think that substituting few words can't impact our feeling but it has. Even for the first time after hearing from you I feel some changes in my mind
I definitely say “Be careful” to my daughter fairly often... and also many other instructions of “warning” because of my own anxieties of what might happen if I don’t. She’s a teenager now so she’s used to it, and we joke now that she’s older about my tendency to “over worry.” It has always made me feel better knowing I’ve told her what could happen if she wasn’t careful & how to best handle it if it did happen. My theory is my mother didn’t come close to doing that with me, and subsequently I was harmed more than once and never knew to speak up for myself, so it has made me hyper vigilant.
God bless you. I’ve been having such a rough time lately and this is one of the only useful videos I’ve seen this far. I know that the things I need to work on are only in my head, so to actually hear what I need to tell myself instead of the “don’t worries” “relax” and “think positive”, you basically gave us all a cheat sheet to combat those pesky thoughts. A million thanks. I’m genuinely excited to live my life in the best way possible thanks to you. A million thanks and a lifetime of gratitude because I just know this is going to work 🙏🏽
You are extremely knowledgeable and helpful at articulating the various challenges that people with anxiety experience. I appreciate everything that you said and am sharing it with people.I love who experience anxiety as well. The way in which you described, everything was extremely validating and comforting.. Only someone who is experiencing anxiety can truly understand it. Thank you so very much. I would appreciate following more of this type of TH-cam from you.
I was cracking up about the anxious part because that is me! Do that to my husband all the time! But I am most of these anxieties! This video was great! I have been working on rephrasing and showing compassion! Thanks for these videos!
Your words and podcast are very informative and inspirational. I'm a drug addict 7 months clean. Anxiety is something I was always aware of but never knew how crippling it could be. I went to the doctors 4 weeks ago and she felt a lump in my throat and after that a switch just went off and since then have been having a very difficult time doing day to day stuff. I stumbled across your podcast shortly after this happened. I find it very helpful. I have slowly implemented things I have learned from listening to you, such as changing my diet, haven't done hard drugs in 7 months but also stopped smoking pot, writing in my journal everyday, getting myself motivated and putting myself in those situations that I've avoided for years. I can relate to all 10 of those ways of thinking and will now start implementing that as well. This has been the hardest time in my adult life but to know I'm not alone is extremely helpful and to know if I keep working hard and understand it will take time, patience, and persistence to conquer this. It's been 2 weeks of effort and slowly implementing other things! Slow and steady with progression everyday!
Nice video. For overthinking problem be careful what you feed your mind. Avoid comparing yourself with others, reduce watching negative social media, take daily sunlight walks and avoid constipation as it affects the mind. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. For a relaxed mind observe the sensations of your natural incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 10-15 minutes or more. You can sit or lay down--eyes closed--No deep breathing. Don’t fight your thoughts. Never meditate with expectations. Make it a lifetime habit to observe your breath day and night before sleep, at work, when travelling, etc with eyes open or closed. Best wishes--Counsellor.

Hi Dennis, At 65,, and experiencing A off and on since I was 20, I would say that the last 15 years created the most fearful time. 3 triggered cycles, lots of serious situations. But felt the most traumatized the last 4 years. Great overwhelming loss on top of it. Maybe at one time or another most of these self sabotaging thoughts came into my own head. But I think the feelings of living in fear/ trauma and wondering if I would have a place to live with no options, no people to help has been the biggest opportunity now. I had pretty much NO independence on my own. But... it was all to get me to another place of thinking. My overwhelm and alarms have been there so I would change my life path, my thinking, my understanding and to live anxiety free now. I didn’t think I needed so many trials to finally SEE why it was all important. I probably said many of these. It is a lot of work changing our brains isn’t it Dennis? But like the Dentist just told me... Only floss the teeth you want to keep. I feel the same committed desire to healing myself body, mind and soul. These small steps of internal language create the most beautiful pathway to emotional wellness. They work. Just practice as you floss.🙏
eileen corado I believe change comes with a few components. First is dissatisfaction, it wasn’t until I was on my knees ready to do whatever it took. Second is digging, to become clear on which experiences and people contributed, and which emotions were repressed. Thirdly, the courage to apply the mindset and skill sets that are learned daily. Forth, rest and meditation, body work and spiritual work is essential.
The Anxiety Guy AMEN Dennis. And on my knee’s I have been🙏 I have seen it in my own experience now that these components ARE key for recovery. I was never taught how to recover. You have helped me...help myself and save my life❤️
I go through phases, sometimes I’m on top of the world then I’ll spend weeks scanning obsessively for body noise and sensations. If I get ectopic beats I’ll panic and could spend weeks in fear! It’s a terrible thing, putting your life on hold fearing a catastrophic event.

This video was sooooooo goood lol. It’s true Anxiety Guy I put excuses I am okay and it was being overwhelmed but I’m okay nothing has changed I’m still here thank god I guess I acted alittle foolish wich i did I started over reacting idk for other but I was over reactive one day I kinda let it get to me and I consumed it and acted victim and didn’t get realistic before it affecting me. I say she and him are the reasons why I can’t achieve and I don’t put accountability .. and before I did I chose to ignore and I did minor steps to reach my goal it felt easier and now I’m looking back again ❤️ thank you 🙏🏼 god bless your big soul
Hello Dennis.....no idea how you popped up.....but so glad you did. I identified with ALL of them but "my past was traumatic" and "people don't understand". ....struck a chord and I will now apply your method of thinking to these issues. I'm suffering with health anxiety to the point where I have actual symtoms, they seem very real but I'm starting to realise it's my brain
Bravo !!!Excitement is the key to anxiety!!!I tend to forget how powerful this technique is !Transforms your life!!!
Same here, Sadie!!♥️

Negative thinking is my biggest downfall if I was to overcome negative thinking id be a much happier person and these videos are realy helping me improve negative thinking thankyou for helping each and every1 of us.
These two verses are beneficial too.
Proverbs 16:3 "Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established."
Philippines 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Number 2 is the one I need the most: Start thinking about something positive. It's so obvious yet so hard to master without turning it into overthinking.
Yep I do this I try to go to a happy place or see the happiest day of my life and I can't which causes more panic for me
Correct me if I’m wrong... I took notes and watched this video 3 times and I got only 9?!
1. Be aware
2. Start Thinking about
3. I’m curious about that
4. I’m excited about
5. My expectations from the past were not met
6. I’m overwhelmed and over worked
7. My past gave me opportunities to learn right from wrong
8. I want that. To fill the empty void
9. People have never experienced what I have
Btw “I’m excited to see what I’ve missed because I’m curious”
Thanks
Yes I got 9 only
Same ..watched it 3 times and got only 9.
Same here
Me too !!
Stop thinking about it ... I say that to myself. I am practicing replacing that with gratitude and positivity.
You’ve been there which makes listening to your words more powerful... 🙏 thank you.
I’m excited about my transition into healthy thinking.
Aussie Mandy And you should be excited, it’s an exciting journey. ❤️
"I have anxiety- I'm excited" "Stop thinking about that > Start thinking about something else".
I will re watch this for the next couple days to see if this helps me.
Think of GOD🙏
Win more souls for JESUS🙏 and be excited🙏
For me it's always been" My past was traumatic " Having suffered immense parental abuse physical, mental, emotional all for years. This is so so helpful Denis. I love you so much!
“Im anxious” NOPE “im excited” very excited 😊!!! Love it
Negative thoughts, that was a mistake I was making in trying to replace negative thoughts. I would tell myself to stop thinking about that. Now, I am going to do your method!! I have always struggled with anxiety and overthinking which has made me miserable. I am working hard to change that mindset.
Start thinking about good things in life 😀
Your program is the only tool that has worked for me in my anxiety recovery.
Keep up the anxiety healing Marc great to hear.
You really keep me accountable, love your program it’s better than all my years of therapy combined
Amanda Sparks Great to hear thanks for sharing.
I agree!
The I’m overwhelmed about trying to be perfect one. I’m committed to the transition. 🙏 Thank you
Be careful, drive safely. I say that all the time to my kids when they leave the house. Be aware is so much better! You are amazing. Thank you Dennis.
I’ve found big changes in my child’s behaviour along the years with this one as well. ❤️
God Bless!
I watch them repeatedly too
I have no energy...... that's me, recently.
Mr Kleen Much love my friend, thanks for your engaging comments they will inspire others.
Love you!
Sai Ravilla Keep up the commitment. ❤️
How are u doing now?
Everyday is a battlefield for me and my anxious negative thoughts, i challenge them, fight them prove that they are not real, and it did a lot of good things to me
My past gave opportunities to experience right from wrong and to grow. I like that one!🎉
past trauma... realizing that I need to let go of my past trauma and that it's made me what I am today.
What a concept :)
I love how practical and honest your information is :) thanks so much for sharing this in a way that is digestible and left me feeling lighter and with more hope.
1. Instead of “be careful” replace it with “be aware”
2. You’ll hear “stop thinking about it” the brain doesn’t understand negation. Replace it with “start thinking about...the thing that your excited about”
People do this trough food, people, etc. replace with “I want that”
9. People don’t understand me, replace with people have never experienced what I have.
Do something for GOD🙏🙏
Be excited.. confess, accept its only through JESUS WE ARE SAVED...
And win more souls for JESUS🙏❤️🙏
you help me so much. so glad i can look back on videos from years and months ago. you definitely help more than my therapists ever have. you have an understanding most of them do not have.
Kylie Blackwell Thanks Kylie enjoy the channel. ❤️
I feel the empty void and that perfectionist attitude I want to help myself feel like I am suffering and lost
Your talk was inspiring as I'm on a journey to change my negative thoughts and perseptions to positive and loving ones. I struggle with my opinion of myself. I let's others define who I am. This is where the positive thinking I know will change this for me
Mike Hamelin Enjoy the contents on this channel, they’ll show you the path Mike. 🙏
How r u Mike,, have you recovered from Anxiety??
Point number 7 really hits my heart and I cry little bit while hear this. "I have many emotional trauma in my life but I no longer saw them as trauma, I began letting go of the blame of those people, I began letting go of that perfectionist attitude that I carry myself all the day" and have a perspectives that people have never experienced what I have is really helped.
Thank you sir for making this video ❤️
Wow this is good thank you. I’m focusing on shifting my thoughts and this is spot on.
Love it bro! Now that I look back I have struggled for close to 20 years with negative thinking and about 15 years with anxiety. Your techniques, tips and sharing of your stories are super helpful for me. I find that I’m relating to you more then anyone I’ve ever noticed.
How are you doing now, Truth seeker?
Great video! For me, the most common phrase is “what if this (negative thing) happens? “ I’d love to learn how to replace this one!
Replace what if with so what ☺
Yogesh Rajput thank you , I’ll try that !! :)
I have insomnia for years and lately it got worse and make me sufferred from anxiety , but I feel a little relieved watching this..thankyouu💕
Extre😊mely helpf❤ul...Huge Thank You, especially the relplacing of Be Careful with Be awa🐥re

I am suffering the worst I have ever the last few months but watching your videos are making me feel calmer I am booked in for cbt now and am hoping they are like u love ur videos u make so much sense and a inspiration to every one who is suffering x
Darren Scamp Good luck on the CBT work! ❤️
Thank You so much for the video! Ive been inundating myself with videos on telling me all i have to do is change my negative thinking to positive. However i failed miserably yesterday and just Thought im just a negative thinker. I now have actual exercises to help. Thanks again
Never let a moment of sensitivity turn into a lifetime of anxiety, keep up.
Antaya Keep up the program work, the clarity and tools are ever lasting. ❤️
Think of winning more souls for JESUS🙏❤️
Thankyou the one which helps me is never say "stop thinking".
I found your words are so encouraging with my anxiety I will keep doing right by listening to this😔
Selina Nafkal Enjoy the channel.
Blessings to all 🙏🏽♥️
Lori V Love it.
Just listening to your podcast makes me feel so unnderstood and so much better. You're so special Dennis. Love you!
Doan Lam Love you back.
I'm extremely negative and pessimistic. And I don't like it for a minute.
Same here, so hard to re-wire that thinking
@@needler1234 you can do it
it sucks thinking like that, doesn’t it? when you want to stop but you just can’t stop thinking negative
Behzad Azarhoushang Incredible How capable we are of positive change yes. 🙏
B. Thanks for sharing.
So very welcome
I was cracking up about the anxious part because that is me! Do that to my husband all the time! But I am most of these anxieties! This video was great! I have been working on rephrasing and showing compassion! Thanks for these videos!
Consumed with ALL of these on a daily basis!!
I love this video! Thanks Denny
Very welcome.
Thank you. Very eye opening talk. You nailed everything I’ve said at one time or another. Now I will be more conscience about how I say things.
Very welcome, I’m glad it provided deeper insights Andrew.
Slow and steady with progression everyday!
guy massa Congratulations it sounds like so much progress being made. ❤️
Think of winning more souls for JESUS🙏
My God this guy hits so many good points in my recent and really my entire life
It's probably one the best and honest thearapist online I've ever seen ! thank you !
Positive thoughts is where it's at

Thank you so much for putting this together!
I'm not sure which one I have the most issues with I'm exactly sure i came for anxiety but more my anger issues but in a way that stems from my anxiety but the thing that really struck me was what you said about anxiety and excitement and I will be implementing that in my daily life thank you for your time and the great advice much love
What about death anxiety? The fear of dying, fear of loosing and missing all chances in life, the fact that you'll lose your consciousness, and that we have no idea what actually will happen to us when we die.
Check out this great answer by Lukas Schwekendiek (google: quora Why do all good things come to an end?). Hope that helps.
All life changing but the one that got to me was the past one, amazing man god bless 🙏🏽

any warriors with childhood ptsd or trauma? i did arson at 14 to escape my mum and school bullies. then put in care but it was my only family i ever had. still miss being in care!
Hi Dennis,
At 65,, and experiencing A off and on since I was 20,
I would say that the last 15 years created the most fearful time.
They work. Just practice
as you floss.🙏
eileen corado I believe change comes with a few components.
The Anxiety Guy
AMEN Dennis. And on my knee’s I have been🙏
I have seen it in my own experience now that these components ARE key for recovery.
I was never taught how to recover.
You have helped me...help myself and save my life❤️
You’re a life saver, thank you ❤️
LOhaha94 Enjoy the channel.
This is what I needed to hear. Great video with good information. Now to apply it to my life everyday.
I have a tendency to keep telling myself “I’m tired.” “I can’t do this today” “I’m not doing well” and it’s crippling me
Jessalyn Tell yourself the opposite for the same amount of time and see what happens. ❤️
I needed to hear this, thank you so much Dennis for clarity on thinking positive 🙏🏻♥️
Sophia Papadopoulos You’re very welcome.
The tiredness one definitely, can we have more info on overcoming the tiredness that anxiety gives especially first thing in the morning?
I go through phases, sometimes I’m on top of the world then I’ll spend weeks scanning obsessively for body noise and sensations. If I get ectopic beats I’ll panic and could spend weeks in fear! It’s a terrible thing, putting your life on hold fearing a catastrophic event.
Wow another awesome video! I have a mixture of everything you mentioned so for me this video was like bang on target. Will have to watch this one again a few times to really let it sink in. Thanks for all your hard work! Ive been stuck inside my house for almost a year because of all this anxiety and trauma but your videos have been making me feel so much better!! I also love that you call us warriors!
Jessie Thornton make going out for a walk the first step. You will be glad you did. Good luck 🙌
Thank you as reminded beautiful to express we each are love.
Running out of words to say...but a BIG THANK YOU!
Thank you and I'll watch this again and again to let it sink in.
Best wishes from🇬🇧
Pauline Maclellan Love it, enjoy the progress. ❤️
@@TheAnxietyGuy1 Awww. .....Dennis....so kind (and so quick!!) a reply 😊. I was listening to your podcast about intrusive thoughts. Very enlightening. I will be a regular viewee from now on. But it's very late here ATM . So will resume tomorrow. Thanks for arriving in my life at the right moment. 😊
