The potential for SX is crazy but i don’t see it ever fully reaching it. Hell of a console though especially for the FOS boost and resolution boost on old games and Gamepass of course
I hope Xbox stays to provide a sense of balance to PlayStation. Having said this. I did not appreciate them buying Activision. Just like I don’t like Song’s live service initiative But buying Activision was a response to not having enough owned IP. Love service was a response to Activision. Chances are the next Xbox’ price will be a response to PS5 pro’s price.
Oh sit down, the Ponies are just butt hurt because they think they'll lose COD to Xbox exclusivity, which Phil Spencer himself's repeatedly said won't happen till 2027 at the earliest.
I don't care what console people choose to play on xbox playstation it doesn't matter What matters is the fact that the development companies that make the game are the problem. All they have done is remaster pregen games for the new gen consoles, literally making you buy games that you've already played and paid full price for to remaster the same game and charge you full price for The catalogue for this generation of console is absolutely shocking. Hardly any games that are actually made for this generation of consoles. I've not even entertained this generation of console as nothing has come out that I actually want to play it's nothing more than a lazy cash grab by the devs laughing their asses off at the simps full price for a game they've already paid full price for and played because it has slightly better graphics Absolute joke
Microsoft had all the potential in the world after buying so many Studios. Xbox was ready to bring the fight to PlayStation but things gone down hill after Activision joined Microsoft
Not worth it considering everything on xbox comes to pc. Even the ps5 is becoming less worth buying since they started putting their 1st party games on PC. The series x is the last xbox I'll ever buy and I definitely regret buying the series x since they're obviously moving away from console focus.
Series x is delivering on the hardware front, quick resume is great. On the game front it is unclear what the future holds. Microsoft is going for an all platform approach, so i think we dont need the hardware anymore. Gamepass is a good system with enough games that are worth playing. I stick with Xbox and Microsoft because all my money is in it.
Series S severely held back the Series X. The S was a good system for game pass and playing the older Xbox games like Gears or Halo or Forza with sharper resolutions and higher frames etc. But for modern games it just couldn't hang. They should of went with a different approach for the S. Some new games will be released, but some new games will not be on that system either due to hardware limitations.
Nope, not worth it. On that note: I pretty much knew how this video would go: non-stop criticism of the console and the decisions made towards it since it launched and then it ends with a "it's days are far from numbered for now;" implying the console still has a chance. Sigh!

Bought the X 2 1T expansion cards 2 Elite Series 2 Controllers
I will never buy another Microsoft hardware device.
MSI katana with steam
Ps5 Pro on a Bravia 9
I’ll play xbox games on the laptop and Sony Pro
XBOX = BEST Box
Yes, just to listen to hardcore Sony zealots cry.
Funny. Seems like its not PlayStation fans who are bashing Xbox in this thread, but pc players. And yet You choose to target PlayStation. Try challenging the actual opposed of the console. Or do You lack the vocabulary and argumentation to go against pc?
No Sony fan is crying. Xbox is releasing their games on their system and the Xbox is no longer the more capable piece of hardware.
Bro, Sony going for the next generation while Xbox still playing chess with old men at the park.
Most of the people here are Xbox Series X owners.
I have a Xbox series x but it sucks. It’s only good for 360/ps3 games.
The potential for SX is crazy but i don’t see it ever fully reaching it. Hell of a console though especially for the FOS boost and resolution boost on old games and Gamepass of course
This is the most disappointing generation. Game quality is just lacking. Poor storytelling.
I brought it at laugh and only turned it on twice. Not because it's bad it just doesn't have as good as game like the ps5
I hope Xbox stays to provide a sense of balance to PlayStation. Having said this. I did not appreciate them buying Activision. Just like I don’t like Song’s live service initiative
But buying Activision was a response to not having enough owned IP. Love service was a response to Activision. Chances are the next Xbox’ price will be a response to PS5 pro’s price.
We’d be better without Xbox. We need a new challenger for Sony. Xbox has lost for over 20 years now.
Oh sit down, the Ponies are just butt hurt because they think they'll lose COD to Xbox exclusivity, which Phil Spencer himself's repeatedly said won't happen till 2027 at the earliest.
@@AllThingsInfamous1There isn’t anyone else with the resources of Microsoft to compete with Sony and Nintendo. No one.
Mmm, probably not worth it. These things barely sell to begin with! That's just a fact! don't @ me!!
I was team Xbox in the 360
Days. After that everything went downhill. Now I loath Microsoft for pushing online/digital/cloud gaming so hard.
It’s an outstanding backward compatible machine. Great for old gamers, not so great for new gamers.
I don't care what console people choose to play on xbox playstation it doesn't matter
What matters is the fact that the development companies that make the game are the problem. All they have done is remaster pregen games for the new gen consoles, literally making you buy games that you've already played and paid full price for to remaster the same game and charge you full price for
The catalogue for this generation of console is absolutely shocking. Hardly any games that are actually made for this generation of consoles. I've not even entertained this generation of console as nothing has come out that I actually want to play it's nothing more than a lazy cash grab by the devs laughing their asses off at the simps full price for a game they've already paid full price for and played because it has slightly better graphics
Absolute joke
Microsoft had all the potential in the world after buying so many Studios. Xbox was ready to bring the fight to PlayStation but things gone down hill after Activision joined Microsoft
just bought one today
Not worth it considering everything on xbox comes to pc. Even the ps5 is becoming less worth buying since they started putting their 1st party games on PC. The series x is the last xbox I'll ever buy and I definitely regret buying the series x since they're obviously moving away from console focus.
PC has become extremely compelling now that both console makers put main games on PC
Short answer yes abso"bloody"utely the Xbox series X was worth it same goes with the series s for those who want great gaming on a budget
I own both but rarely play PS if not for the odd exclusive there because ive GamePass
This gen has sucked
How
Sooo.. buy an S series?
Literally no reason to own a Series L
I love my series X
Luckily from Day 1
It's complicated.
I have a Xbox for multiplayer and pc for modding and messing around
Would TH-cam stop cutting off people comments that goes over like 300 characters
Enjoy your stick drift ps5 fans
The question is, what does the data say?
Series S severely held back the Series X. The S was a good system for game pass and playing the older Xbox games like Gears or Halo or Forza with sharper resolutions and higher frames etc. But for modern games it just couldn't hang. They should of went with a different approach for the S. Some new games will be released, but some new games will not be on that system either due to hardware limitations.
Xbox is worth it sony can't match games pass
I love my XSX but i hate marketing of Phil Spencer and Microsoft i am done with Microsoft console's after XSX 🎮👍🇬🇷
Ohhhh hell yes. Xbox rocks
No just get a PC,PS5 or switch depending on your gaming needs.
Nope, not worth it. On that note: I pretty much knew how this video would go: non-stop criticism of the console and the decisions made towards it since it launched and then it ends with a "it's days are far from numbered for now;" implying the console still has a chance. Sigh!
what I like about the x is that at some point, I am going to pick it and play gears from 3 to 5 . and ori
Gears 3 and 4 were not as good as 2
@JV-ll1cu I've heard, but still can imagine they are decent enough. I really liked 1 and 2
Yep. They are not bad
gamepass being cheaper and running better on pc makes the value proposition of the console very weak actually
I guess yes
Xbox and Playstation further look dark for consoles. PC is the new king.
But....
T
Crackdown 3...
Redfall...
Halo 5 multiplayer was so shitty, it became free..
Hellblade 2 came and went...
Where's State of degay 3.... Imperfect dark ..forza who....forza what ...everwild card ...
Indian jones is multiplatform.....
Everything else is remasters like lollipop chainsaw but lbox is still making pink controllers tho ..
microsofts very own slogan is...."xbox console not needed" 😂
I saw a series x for $200........at a yard sale 😅
Are you 5?
Please please xbox meak it awesome any for good games hitt the Sony PlayStation
I barely use my xbox x, like once or twice a year... There is simply no real incentive to play on Xbox over a PC or a PS5 in my opinion.
Xbox series x and series s maybe less powerful than the ps5 pro but it has more games already and cloud gaming. Cant beat that.
By some accounts, earlier models of the Series X are starting to blow their gaskets. Off putting.
I have Xbox Series X and my PC I built and they need to stop worrying about gamepass so much that's the problem right people need to buy games again.
No that’s the least of the problems. That’s like me telling you that you need to buy a Xbox. People need to stop creating these wack narratives and have fun gaming
If I had a nice pc I wouldn’t have an Xbox
@@AllThingsInfamous1 I got a nice pc so I don’t need a PlayStation also we can play god of war on Xbox if we wanted to. That’s the kool thing about having a internet browser on your console PlayStation is literally useless 😂
Xbox is losing japan and other Asian markets to Sony and Nintendo
Japan are a Nation of Nintendrones and Sony zealots anyway.
The short anwser: NO
It failed badly 😂
