Hey Brittany! It’s Ronnie Tindel here. I just wanted to let you know In case you see a swarm of people come on these videos or subscribe it’s because I have your videos as the lessons for todays class! I love your videos and how you break it down! 😊
Hello Ronnie! That is so so sweet of you and that is so crazy to hear (in a good way lol) and I appreciate your support and sharing of my videos so much! 💗 My schedule has been pretty hectic but I'm going to try to make more videos because of the positive responses, like yours, that I've been getting 😁
First year coach here. Im watching these to reacquaint myself with terms and some basics ive forgotten since ive done guard but one thing i remember my coach teaching us was to move our hands to our hip points (or early 00’s and our whole team had them…ovaries) then catch. Like 1-2 ovaries-catch. I will probably say hips to at the very least keep the giggles at bay
@@amandahibbs3690 it just might be a different technique for your area or just that your coach wanted to teach you guys specifically. I haven't really seen that but if it helps you and your kids to nail these tosses then that's awesome!!
Does anybody have tips for not being scared to toss? Specifically tosses like 45s? I’m new to guard this year and need to get over my fears before band camp in a few weeks
@@Monkey_With_Anxiety Monkey_With_Anxiety You can do it! 45 especially are one of the hardest basics to master, and it may take awhile to get down but be patient with yourself and keep trying no matter how many times you might fail!
How can i get over my fear of getting hit with the flag while it spins in the air? Like ill throw it and I'll back out naturally and rarely catch it but with one hand lol. not as easy as it looks ps my first year doing it.
I suggest learning your points and practicing doing it with your flag before releasing it, so you get a muscle memory of where to release it, your arm shouldn’t release the flag right next to your head, but rather it should release right in front so you aren’t likely to get hit by it. I have the same fear, but you’ll get over it the more your practice.
The beginning of the video is me introducing what the skill will be, then I explain how to execute the skill and what things to avoid doing that would prevent you from achieving the skill. This is a very beginner skill and some people learn how to toss from my videos because they don't have an instructor if that info is not necessary to you just fast forward 👍

I’m in my second year
I'm sorry, but what's with all the talking before executing the move
