Nice. I love catching small TTRPGs channels. I remember finding Dingo Doodles and Baron DeRopp before 1K. I personally don't play D&D because the system itself is bloated but I too have literally no patience for time wasting in game.
I may not be /diagnosed/ with ADHD but boy howdy did it take me 40 minutes to get through this video. I prolly had to rewind the same couple minute segments 10 times each cause I kept getting distracted. This was gonna be a quick guide while my food cooled down, now I gotta reheat it LMAO -- Great video man. I really like the way you present things, I can't wait to check out more of your videos.
My players love to RP. Last session one PC got bored and decided to fill out the enrollment form for the local University while they were on their "Shore leave" I try to have exciting things happen but time and again they put off going to the exciting place to do the combat or whatever thing is happening in order to stay in the safe place. They seem to love it and the Stars always reflect enjoying the little RP moments. But I still feel like a "bad" DM sometimes. Truthfully I think they would enjoy a more narrative game. Or maybe if they had stronger character goals - most are DMs in their other campaigns and dont have strong drives for their characters. Anyway. Im rambling. This video will hopefully help. Thanks!
It seems like they're enjoying the time they spend as their characters and are scared for that time to unceremoniously end via crossbow-bolt! Sounds like good DMing to me if they're comfortable doing that
