Wow, I just watched your Stronghold video and the nostalgia hit me like a brick and now THISS????!!!!! My cousin and i played all of the Jak and Daxter games from morning till night, we even played the racing game, Jak X was it i belive, I truly need a Jak and Daxter Remake and amazing video. Time to sub to you :D
The PS2 was my first console and this was my first console game after growing with cousins who had SNES and N64s, my eyes opened wide when I first booted up this game. If I could visit a moment in time to relive from my childhood, it would probably be playing this game for the first time. Great review man, looking forward to your next videos!
Jak and daxter was one of the best, if not, the best game of my childhood, and still holds up pretty good today. Its amazing how well made it was back in the day
Great video. This game shaped my childhood and would love to see more of it again. Jak 3 was always my favourite because of the desert rides and incredible storytelling. Can't wait to see your video on it ;) Also, have you considered doing a vidya on Prince of Persia: Sands of Time?
@@SuperEvilMuffin yeah I would like to get around to doing 2 and 3 also. As for Sands of time, I only ever played it at a friend’s house as a kid, never got to properly play it myself.
This is my favorite game of all time, but I never knew it was written in a proprietary programming language! I've used Lisp-based languages before and they are ROUGH
By all means I'd love to see Jak n Dax come bak. However, when is the last time any game had its own unique artsyle recently? Everything that comes out now is either too "real" looking and has no stylized art, or just doesn't hold up to these classic cartoony artstyles. I mean, I did not like the mock ups of the proposed Jak 4 style all those years ago. It doesn't work for the series. Things don't have to evolve forwards. In space direction is limitless. Only thing of that era that's somewhat stayed the same was Ratchet and Clank. You can see Ratchet all the way from 1 and look at Rift Apart and say that's exactly the same dude. I just don't have faith in video game developers because they're soulless now. "Tripple AAA" always comes out tripple (G) [A] \/ /
Modern NaughtyDog couldn't make a good jak and daxter game. I promise you don't want to see a Druckmann directed J&D, instead you should research but give no publicity (at least until all goals are met) to the community driven projects on how to play the old games on newer hardware. We're adults now. J&D is my favorite series, I've played through TPL dozens of times at this point. I don't want new games in this series. I want to be able to show the good games to my kids. All this to say I also love J&D, but I hope ND doesn't get the chance to screw it up like TLoU

Thank you
I've never played Jak and Daxter, but your sentiment and nostalgia is recognizable. Very enjoyable to watch, mr Peppotamus.

The first few seconds should of really had a epilepsy warning. My head is spinning now..
You’re right, my apologies.
Jak and Daxter became The Last of Us during development, so it's not surprising that we haven't seen it come back.
Yeah... sure hope it does though. Maybe after they finish remastering Last of Us 2 a few times 😤
@@Peppachini Hahaha hopefully. I certainly would love it as well
Herdy Gerdy gang reporting for duty o7
I prayge Premier treats you better for the next vid ❤
Very goo
Sony should just sell the IP to Sega and be done with it. At least it would GET a game
Not sure who I'd trust to take it though!

Ya I also didn't like the proposed style for 4, that said I think Naughty Dog could still do a good job.
This is not a long Play PZ video and I'm sad
