The thing i love about the "here it goes again" video is the symbolism. The pace is frantic and they are working so hard going back and forth in different directions. But they never go anywhere...
When the video was going viral on TH-cam, which was still a new concept in the mid 2000s, it was announced that they would perform this live at the MTV awards in 2006. Could they pull this off live on an awards show? They did 👍
I think i still have got the album somewhere. It's actually well-made but typical 00s indie/power-pop that was certainly elevated by the clever and creative video clips.
To much fun I felt my bad knee blow out 20 times while watching them perform this. What an amazing combination of humor, athleticism, choreography, creativity and discipline to pull this off. Very impressive to say the least. Great reaction thanks for sharing with Alexia.
They are like the Cirque du Soleil of Rock, and everything they touch turns to gold. They are wizards, magicians, entertainers to the bone. "The One Moment" may be my favorite, but they are all fantastic. Also fantastic is that you are watching videos, because some songs are also visual works of art. The Chemical Brothers' "Let Forever Be" comes to mind.
@mvunit3 holy cow! I just watched Overtime... That bass!! I am DEFINITELY putting this on my playlist and will be checking out more of their stuff. Not much new music excites me, but this was a great recommendation! Sorry if this posted twice, I tried responding to your post but it wasn't letting me respond properly.
Just to reiterate for Nick: the videos of "This Too Shall Pass" (the Rube Goldberg Machine), "Upside Down & Inside Out", "White Knuckles" and "End love" are just as good, you can watch these together with Alexia 🙂
Great video! I've seen a few of their amazing videos and been blown away by them, but never saw this one! Love the one in the airplane and the one with the paper! Their music is always interesting and catchy too! More, more! 🎵❤️🎵 Debbie
You are a good reactor guys, so I decide to subscribe and put like. I have a favor to you Can you react to a Filipino Sisters sings "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by 4TH IMPACT Cover.
Two other amazing OK GO videos are DOWNSIDE UP, filmed inside a passenger plane that's in a nosedive and then flies straight up, and THE ONE MOMENT, in which 4 seconds are spread out into three minutes!, check them out!
We knew you would enjoy this. :) just wait, 2 is better than 1, 3 is better than 2, 4 is better than 3, and 5 is even better! Ha ha! I wonder if you watched all the rest right after this. Both of your reactions are just as awesome as these videos! Oh when you listen without the videos, you will picture the videos anyway. ❤
I've seen this! This is a really good New Wavish - Rock band, but stayed for the video fun :D. #nicknlexrequest Okay, gotta' sell this a bit more; So I texted you a few weeks ago Nick . . . You and Lexi MUST watch *Knower* - "Overtime" (the video), I'm not even going to tell you what music genre it is. But they are soo d@mn good, and it surprises me how long they've been around and how YOUNG they are. Its yet another band I KNOW you will love (be sure to watch the Bassist and his "Stank Face" :D). I went on a Knower binge in December, and every song KILLS. I bet other "Familia" will chime-in about them (No Spoilers folks!). - This was fun!

@@shiftingperception ^ take notice N&L 😁 Glad you liked! There are _other_ bands too in that vien of music that showed-up in the recommendations. Music is alive & well!
@mvunit3 ok, I don't know what happened... I don't really listen to this type of music but I'm hooked. Btw I watched the live version video twice. Then I thought I would check out some more tracks from the same album and ended up listening to the entire thing... Every song was fantastic, but in particular I loved Overtime, Pizza and - omg - More Than Just Another Try blew me away! Just wanted to share my excitement... Haha
@@shiftingperception I bet those guys get "new" fans each week :P. I mean, like I said, I couldn't believe I knew nothing about them for "8" years! The guy that started it all, he plays a "4 piece drumkit" for crying out loud! But plays it with such skill. I saw an interview with him, and he super knowledgeable about classic drummers from that _other_ music (don't want to give it away) and technique. That keyboardist apparently is a HUGE deal now, there are some cool videos of him as well. That's soo cool that you found something new to enjoy - I hope others do the same. I think the "Dan Club" people will enjoy them especially :).
@mvunit3 this is one of the things I love so much about the channel, discovering new music. I don't listen to the radio, I don't watch much TV and hardly watch movies so for me, hearing new music didn't happen very often. Plus I hadn't heard much new music in the last 20 years or so that made me say WOW! Coming across something like this is awesome. I love to share what I enjoy with others as well, I've submitted many marathons and I love seeing their first time reactions. I have to say, of all the ones I've sent in, OK Go (both this video and the marathon for Nick) were the most fun. Watching them enjoy these videos and songs SO MUCH put a smile on my face.
OK Go has a video featuring dogs that you have to check out, just like this all flawlessly coordinated, but with dogs.
That would be White Knuckles. Great video as are all the OK Go visual experiences - and one of my favourite OK Go tunes.

I had no idea what to expect, but this was very cool.

Alexia, this is only scratching the surface of what it to come! Excited to see your reaction to the subsequent videos!!❤
OK Go are awesome! I saw them at a Christmas concert shortly after this blew up and they DID THE TREADMILL CHOREO on stage! All their videos are fun.
So glad you guys love humor and music ! room for both !
Now I need to see Thom Yorke do a version of this where he just keeps falling down to the song "Let Down"
