If you ever get into a situation where you need to make an angled glue up but you can't get a clamp on the 2 pieces, try this trick out. This technique can also be applied to many other situations so its a great trick to have up your sleeve!

Hi! I am trying to make the same exact monitor stand. What joints would you use without any bisquit, domino jointers or dowel drilling jigs?
suggestion: instead of hot glue you can try using tape on both pieces of wood and using CA glue on the tape.
what are your thoughts on using salt to help grip the glueup? does it hinder or diminish the bond?
I have heard of this before, but have never tired it. I personally can't see it changing the strength of the glue.
Why not a spline? Or dovetail?
With a quick jig, I could have done this. However I was going for that "waterfall" look and didn't want anything showing.
