I have found a few decent nuggets with the 6000. Nothing over 5g as yet. I am sure it’s capable. I found a 4g at a true 8 1/2, inches. they always seem deeper when you are digging, I measured it. Quite a strong signal.
@@goldfools5445 Yes the GPX6000 is very good at finding small gold deep but with the GPX4500 I'd find something in the range of 15g - 30g every couple of weeks. I have a couple nice nugets 5g and 10g but nothing big. Perhaps I just haven't swung over one but I find that unlikely so I'm going to spend more time with the GPX4500 when I'm in the right area. It's just hard to put the GPX6000 aside when it continues to find lots of small bits every day.
