My friend didnt know how to clean his cement mixer. I have made this video to show my simple method that works #cementmixer #cement #concrete #diy #howto #diycrafts
People are like giving advice to prevent that from happening is amazing. Why not just buy a new one and never mix mortar in it so that way it will always be clean for ever.
@@howdoyoudo2927 Yes so True, only cement or concrete or timber formwork,Im a Bricklayer, and my mixer looks like new after 5 years-hot tip when its hot,and your mud (cement) goes off to quick, add a little lemonade soda in your cement, this slows down the drying process, giving you more time, on those fiddly jobs

Good advice, they could sit and watch it spin when there is nothing good on tv.
Professionals always apply diesel beginning and end of each day, cement will not stick to diesel.
That's good advice but I am filling latex/fibreglass moulds, the diesel would destroy the latex

No professionals just rinse it between each batch. The rinse water becomes the water for the next batch.
The best way to remove dried concrete is to use BETOFF liquid! There is no better one!
Thank you for the advice I will take a look
Do it the right way and clean it after using it. Save yourself all the work later on.
I appreciate what you are saying but the waste is a problem to me so I recycle where possible
