fun thing abt bulwark, other classes cant cancel out of attack animation with a dodge, but bulwark can block cancel his attack animations then dodge, so if you're good enough u can keep attacking and if a unparriable attack is coming and ur in the middle of an attack animation, u can hold parry to block to cancel the animation then dodge
When bulwark uses block (tap) there seems to be about 0.5 sec where the shield goes up and we block incoming attacks. Once that ends the parry animation starts. I havn't played enough to really get the muscle memory down but about 90% of my regular parry attempts fail because I either block (there wasn't enough time between pressing block and enemy attack for the parry to start) or I did it too early and parry window closed (enemy had too much wind up). Recently got the fencing sword so I'll have to see how that changes it.
With parry and block being the same button, if you hold the parry even slightly too long it changes to a block and can mess up your chance to get a perfect parry. The other classes don't have the transition to a block on holding the button, so it feels a little more forgiving on them.
Also a problem i ran into was the melee weapon block types. If u have a weapon with block instead of balance or fencing it wont parry it will just block.
was looking for bulwark parry guide. and for the first 6 minutes i had to listen to why bolt pistol is bad and why plasma pistol is good and what perks do i need for it and what relic gun to use...
@@aaronapitius4775 yea it is possible solution. But i'd rather had author to commit a litte bit more to the audience and set the timestamps (chapters) in the video.
purity of purpose isnt good compared to the other banner perk that gives contested health constantly to all allies, its free healing and free armour points, and the shield bash skill that increases knock down duration is better than dmg buff, u should also consider using power stance of the power sword for hordes and speed stance for single target
@@joshtrue467 not at highest difficulty, highest difficulty gets rid of it, not to mention its not a constant stream of contested health but rather a one time thing, the perk gives contested health all throughout the duration of the banner
The real parry god is vanguard. 50% increased parry window perk with a fencing weapon and you basically can be blind and dumb and still hit perfect parries.
I am new to bulwark. Can you explain to me what you mean? I heard there are 2 stances. How do I switch between them and what is the point? I saw that I can charge the sword. Is there a point to not charge the sword?
@@ToejamDcheflok The charge sword is clearing hordes, you can see when you swing it shoots an arc of light, this makes it easier to get enemies down for you to quick shot and regain your armor. The quick stance is normal uncharged sword which is more damage per swing but very single target melee, so not for clearing hordes

oh thank you, i wasnt aware of this
Vanguard very much can dodge out of attack animation with the knife. I do it all the time.

Is it just me or does parrying with the bulwark seem off? Idk if the timing is different with this class, but the parry rarely works now?
Parrying timing is different with every class, so yes you’re right

A whole video about parrying and you forget to mention how to parry. Fucking awesome
sweeeet, great video as always. Happy to see you'll be making SM2 content!
Chain sword only weapon with a standing heavy that not charged and chase reach that can be the diff on enemy calling for help.

It does that without the perk as it is right now test it for yourself

The chainsword becomes a monst3r when you get to relic
It becomes a monster the first purple one with fencing and high dps so good
Bro has 40 hours on bulleark and is still rocking the green pistol 😮🔫
And he wonders why it does nothing for him in higher difficulties
I use Bolt Pistol in Ruthless, works great.
Yeah kinda Same here xD was a bit irritatet where he says bolt gun is bad at high xD
Anime guy reviewing warhammer, am i in the right universe
Just choose fencing lol.
Bruh you have 0 tokens from the top 2 difficulties and are not even max level on your build. Don't make builds until you're more experienced
For real. I’ve got a level 25 bulwark with all tiers maxed. This is a baby “build”
Alright, chill out you gatekeeping elitist 🤡
No guide needed use fencing weapon
What heresery creature is there on the right bottom?
50 hours, plasma pistol not at relic tier 🤔📸
Watching you kill those swarms in speed stance was painful 😂

Soon as I saw the gay ah avatar I clicked off😭
Salvation of Bakka is pretty good if you got single target covered the fencing one feels too slow for that tier.
